This is my 1st bidet seat and, really, my 1st bidet experience. Conclusion: where’ve you been all my life? I did my research and determined that the JX2 was the one to try. I’ve been using it for a solid 6 months now, and I’ve gotten quite used to it. I’m disappointed if I have to use the other bathroom now.

The JX2 was part of a comprehensive bathroom renovation. My fist mistake was going with a round instead of elongated commode bowl. There are a few reasons for this, but suffice it to say, I definitely recommend the elongated over the round, if you have the choice.
The beeping: yes, there is a faint “beep” when I sit down (and, I think, also when I stand up.) This can be turned off by plugging in the JX2 while depressing a button on the seat. I’ve found that the house power invariably gets interrupted within days of me doing this, though, and when it comes back on, the seat defaults to beeping again. So, I’ve just gotten used to the beeping. This one’s not that loud. (But it’s still dumb that it beeps. Who needs a toilet seat that beeps? Everything beeps these days. It’s maddening.)
The bidet-ing itself is pleasant and effective overall. Sometimes I run concurrent cycles, just to be sure. I recommend pressing the bidet button twice, which gets the wand to do a slight, back-and-forth, scrubbing motion. It was interesting to me to experience changing the water temperature on-the-fly. You push the temp button and that water temperature instantly changes. Speaking of, Alpha should be able to figure out a way to have the initial blast of water be as warm as the rest of it, because it ain’t. It is ALWAYS frigid-cold, just for a second, long enough to make me make a face, and then it’s pleasant.
One thing I have noticed recently, temperature-wise, is that the water isn’t always as warm as it was. Maybe my wife is fidgeting with the temp control (which I doubt because she likes everything hotter than I like it), or maybe it’s because the incoming water is much colder than it was in the summer and fall. Regardless, I’ve had some cooler than expected bidets this winter.
My wife has complained that, although the wand’s position can be adjusted, she still can’t get it to move far enough forward to be useful in the female application. I have had the same issue at the opposite end. When I’m ready to bidet, even after I draw the wand back as far as it will go, I still have to scoot a little “too” forward on the seat to feel optimally situated. Here is where the elongated bowl and seat (as opposed to the round) could have solved a lot.
The drying feature could get warmer faster, which I think would help it not to take so long. I don’t feel the warmth (which could be warmer) until it’s at least a third of the way into its cycle, maybe half way. Before that, it’s just like a cool breeze. It gets high marks for aim though, good aim, just slow to dry.
My wife likes the heated seat function, though I could do without it. We both like the night-light feature. I don’t even have to turn the bathroom light on in the middle of the night anymore. I can see everything I need to see.
If I was to suggest anything to Alpha, like if they asked me, I’d maybe recommend a model with a throttle on the side, like driving a boat, something you could pull back on to crank up the water pressure. I’d buy that (and maybe a Captain’s hat to wear with it).

I installed the bidet seat on a KOHLER HIGHLINE ARC 1PC elongated toilet. Finish appearance matched well. The seat & remote works well. I will buy again once for a 2nd installation I see how hard water effect the nozzle. Satisfied with the product, however I suggest a few improvements: 1. Remember pressure settings for all menu switches. All wash setting should use the low pressure setting as a default. 2. A presence\motion sensor on the seat to turn on/off the light after a timeout period. 3. Allow the pre-moist cycle to work while sitting on the seat.

Works great and has all the right features like warm water and a heated seat. The LED makes a great nightlight.

Our first bidet.

This is a wonderful product. It arrived on time. The instructions, for those who read them, were excellent. It was a snap to install, although I added an outlet for the bidet. It has every bell and whistle you could desire. Makes going to the bathroom fun! Highly recommend this bidet. We have the elongated and love the remote for one button use.Water always starts out warm and air dry works well. The underseat night light provides guidance at night and my wife loves the heated seat. Self cleaning nozzle and although I haven't used the preclean bowl spray yet, the idea is good.
Seat can be adjusted and once in place, does not move around. A little pricey, but top rated and worth the cost!

I was asked to write a review for the Alpha JX bidet and I do so without hesitation. I did some research and decided on Alpha having read reviews at BidetKing and other sites. I did some research and decided on Alpha having read reviews at BidetKing and other sites. The features and benefits of this technology was mind blowing to include: a night light, heated seat; adjustable water pressure, water temperature, nozzle position, and dryer temp all controlled by a wall mountable remote. I decided to go for it after seeing so many positive reviews and am so glad I did. Everything promised was delivered including a fairly simple installation and good customer service. Once you individualize the adjustments and experience this new hygienic technology, you’ll wonder why you didn’t get one sooner.

There are some things I love. There are some things that are surprises. And one or two things Im not fond of.
1) Love. The heated seat, and water. I cannot emphasize how nice it is to sit down, on a cold morning, to a warm seat. And the lovely temp of warm water pressure washing the starfish. Having everything you need in one box is great, like the valves, washers, etc...
2) Meh... The surprise when sitting of the system activating, sounding like a modem from the 80s as it (Im guessing) turns on...

2) Meh... The surprise when sitting of the system activating, sounding like a modem from the 80s as it (Im guessing) turns on the water heater and prepares the nozzle for use. The quality of seat seems a bit iffy at this pricepoint, but time will tell. It also has a tendency to shift a bit.. even after tightening seat... this seems like it shouldnt happen when locking in but can be a bit disconcerting. I can only tighten it so much before Im concerned threads may strip.
3) UGH.. the nightlight is bright enough to land airplanes... It should be called a bowl spotlight. I wish there was a dimmer for it... There is a difference between convenience when doing the deed in the middle of the night and seeing some bright light emanate from bathroom like something from poltergeist. At this pricepoint, I would have liked to have memory settings on the remote... I am a larger fella, and the missus is 5 ft nothing... our anatomies are very different so If i dont pay attention, I may pressure wash my taint or crack... and she may be in for a rude surprise as well... having memory settings (I like warm water, medium pressure, warm seat, and aim at 15% aft of target. She likes cooler water, low pressure, hot seat, and aim 30% the other way.
Overall a positive experience, and if TP shortage recurs, I will be prepared! Also, I already hate doing the deed in other non civilized facilities... We shall see how it performs over time...

I began by investigating. I didn’t want seats that sprang to attention when someone entered the bathroom & I didn’t care about nightlights. I considered the BioBidet BB-2000 & tried calling Bemis on their tech support line & on their sales line. An outgoing message said they would respond to emails within five days. I considered the BioBidet BB-2000 & tried calling Bemis on their tech support line & on their sales line. An outgoing message said they would respond to emails within five days. Hence I knew their warranty work would be equally lousy. Bidet King offered to let me see some units in their warehouse. Although I didn’t go, I could see they were easier to work with.
The shipment came in a day. Three filters were ordered, but one was missing. When I told Bidet King, they quickly sent it. The installation went smoothly & quickly. Note their warranty begins the day the bidet is shipped, so don’t sit on it (pun intended).
The remote control has buttons & a screen. Touch screens upset me, so I was very happy that this screen had nothing to touch. The buttons were straightforward, easy to set, & the screen gave clear visual feedback.
The wand/nozzle would self-clean every time someone sat down on the seat. After a few days of people sitting to pee, the waste of self-cleaning water became very annoying. This feature was turned off after the supervisor revealed a combination of buttons not published in the manual.
I was worried that the time for the water to heat up might be a problem, but it was not. I am happy with the temperature, force, & duration of the water. I now believe that a warming tank (hybrid system) is an unnecessary expense.
The air dryer is plenty hot, but I tend not to use it. A towel is quicker & less expensive.
After about two weeks, we noticed that the seat was shifting to one side. This could have been catastrophic. We re-positioned the seat & carefully re-tightened – to avoid cracking the plastic – the fastening (lock) nuts. So far, the seat seems okay.
I bought the bidet for its basic purpose. It does it well & I use less paper. I actually get out of the bathroom more quickly than before & I am cleaner. The bidet also reduced some bleeding issues. I am happy with this product & I can recommend it.

Alpha bidet is a remarkable and brilliant design to toilet hygiene
Replaced the Toto 'Washlet' after eleven years of uninterrupted use
However due to age it was without sophistication just a basic unit
Admire the remote control for simplicity of imagery
Love the Alpha pulsing wash and the fact it pre-starts water upon sitting
No issues mounting as I was able to reuse the original hardware
Plumbing and electrical were simple exchanges
Love the night light as I am active pre-dawn
Highly recommend this bidet for simple comfort

First of all, this is my second bidet this year. I had a Brondell swash 1400 and it only lasted 3 days! This Alpha JX unit has been working for over a month now. Disappointed in the front wash because it will only mover slightly farther forward than the back wash. I do wish the back wash could be set a little stronger. I'm not sure how you would save toilet paper with a bidet of any kind unless you walked away with your behind dripping wet. I can't do that. When installing the seat, I wish it would "click" in and lock as the Brondell brand. Now for the good points. It is simple which is what I was looking for. I was mainly looking for heated water. It does spray cool always at first but seems to stay fairly warm. the seat does warm but we rarely use it. Same for the night light. I'm happy with the simple button remote and it seems to respond well. I felt the installation was acceptable for a bidet of this type.
