The opening is definitely smaller compared to a normal toilet seat, so keep that in mind if that’s an issue for you. Functionality Have used all features multiple times and core features work well - with primary focus being the backside wash (all wash modes), plus the dryer and cleaning feature. Cons 1. The Eco function doesn’t work — that’s for the seat heating — tried many times but knob never blinks/lights up in response. 2. Upon first sitting on the seat, the bidet prepares for use and water trickles (can hear it as well), but the slightly annoying part is some water splashes towards/near the back of the seat. Not a deal killer, but definitely something to be aware of. 3. The water doesn’t come out at the set temperature setting right away — takes a good 3-5 seconds. I would rather it wait then first stream at the set temperature. That’s pretty much the negatives so far — and not enough to return the product, in fact, the core functionality is pretty damn good — so aside from the issues mentioned above, really like this bidet. Plus it has a 3-yr warranty which is a significant plus after spending that much money. Read Less

We just installed this Alpha UX Pearl yesterday and so far I am pretty impressed. It is our first bidet/washlet and we put in a new Kohler chair height elongated seat toilet to go with it. Takes a bit of learning to navigate the buttons on the remote but the install was very straightforward. Excellent water temperature and pressure and the ability to direct flow/temp are very good. Takes a bit of learning to navigate the buttons on the remote but the install was very straightforward. Excellent water temperature and pressure and the ability to direct flow/temp are very good. Cleansing is 99% after a no. 2, which is impressive. The fan doesn't do much so we just use a couple squares of paper, no problems. Only 'complaint' I have is that I like to read on 'the throne' and while my body is in contact with the seat, the internal water heater stays on in anticipation that it may be called upon. I feel like I am wasting electricity just sitting there reading. I wish there was an "OFF' button I could push. I would most definitely recommend this product and the QR code printed on the inside lid of the box helps with installation as well as navigating the remote.  Read Less

A friend of mine had just purchased a bidet sear and was extolling its virtues to the point that I had to investigate the utility myself. After researching the products being marketed, I selected Bidet King's Alpha UX Pearl model, which was touted as THE best affordable unit vs its competitors. BK does not exaggerate --- this baby does it all! Being handicapped, I had a friend install my bidet seat. It took him almost an hour and everything came together as intended. I was very fortunate in that the power cord JUST REACHED my wall outlet. My reaction when first sitting on it was that the seat had a very soft, yet firm, cushiony feel, and the seat was warm! It chirps when you first sit down and you can hear the reservoir filling with water it will heat. The machine's reaction to activation of the rear wash function is a slight couple second delay then a strong but comfortable stream of heated water begins. You can move the direction of the spray forward and backward --- the degree of which is indicated on the remote control (which is best mounted on a wall right next to the toilet. There is an efficient drying function. I have checked the degree of cleanliness the BK Alpha UX Pearl achieves and there is but a slight pale brown on the toilet tissue after wiping. This is my 4th bidet as I had a surgery that damaged one of my arms. We had a Bio Bidet that was great but it kept having issues and was no longer usable ( 3 repairs is not a good track record) So far we are happy with this new unit. It does take quite a bit of seat real estate and makes a elongated bowl into the size of a round bowl. It is super easy to install and takes no time at all. The heated seat is nice and in eco mode it isn’t heating up until you sit down so thats better for my electri... Read More

Love the seat and rear spray options but the spray adjustment from rear to front doesn't seem to move for ladies. When I switch to front spray without moving it sprays in the exact same location. I can adjust myself by scooting back but it defeats the benefit of the button. My other complaint is that ozone deodorizer doesn't run when you're sitting on the toilet. Why can't we turn that on while we're on the throne? If you wait until you're done, there's no auto shut off so you have to remember t... Read More

It also turns the motor on whenever you sit down, regardless if you're going to wash up. So in the middle of the pin-drop quiet of the night, the motor running is a bit disconcerting. I got this bidet for Black Friday this year. Id been thinking about a bidet for a while now and thought I’d give it a try. After a bit of research, I found this one. I liked that it’s low profile. A lot of the bidets have such a high back that you can barely see the water tank for the toilet! Too intrusive for me. The warm water feature works well. 5 levels of temped water including, continuous warm water on demand. This means you will never run out of a warm wash. Also does cold/ambient temp water. Might need that this summer. The heated seat also works well. Too well actually. Can get VERY HOT! We don’t use it at all. The warm air/dryer feature works…. Pretty good. If you have a few minutes it might get you 80% dry or so. Takes a little while to get dry. No biggie. A little TP helps to dry off in a hurry. It has a 2 minute cycle that it runs of hot air and front & rear wash cycles. Idk if this is what Alpha Bidet recommends for cleaning times, but it works for me. Nightlight is a nightlight. You can turn it off as well. On the side of the seat. There is a knob to use the bidet if you lose your remote. It works. It is back-lit. Seat and lid drop slow. The deodorizer seems to work. It turns on when you sit down and turns off when you get up from the seat. You can also turn the deodorizer off. It makes a slight…. Fan sound? Bearly hear it, but it’s there. The other “Pure Bowl” freshener. Make a little noise when you turn it on. Not sure really what it does, but it is also included. You don’t have to turn it on if you don’t want to. When you set down. You hear a dripping sound of water. That’s the nozzle cleaning itself before and after you use the wash feature. The nozzle has three ways of cleaning. First is a direct shot at your…. Yep. The you can make it “pulse” at your…. Yep. And you can also make it “Massage” your…. Yep. I believe you have all these features with the front wash as well. You can adjust the nozzle to hit just right. This thing will CHANGE YOUR LIFE!! No BS! If you’re willing to shell out a little extra for Christmas.
