After my last surgery I still couldn't use a toilet, but the bidet and a new toilet arrived. About 2 months later I was beginning to get back on my feet...so I called my plumber and had him install. Man, talk about my surprise after reading the manual, adjusting some settings from the remote. It's like heaven. The seat is warm instantly. Rinsing water is warm too...and adjustable! You can have the Nozzle stationary or have it move forward and reverse. I've got a little issue with the remote not always working..but hoping customer support will swap it out for me. I'm considering a second bidet for the other bathroom. Why not!  Read Less

I became aware of Bidet seats about 5 years ago when a girlfriend had recently remodeled her bathroom. She insisted that I try her bidet seat because she was very enthusiastic about this method of hygiene. I was impressed but I guess not enough to do the research and make the purchase. A month or so ago I decided I was going to read up about these. I found bidetking.com and it seemed like the Bio Bidet 1000 got rave reviews. I was so impressed by what others were saying. It seems like consumers of these are so devoted. Bidetking.com answered all my questions over the phone. I had my seat within a few days. Great service from them! My husband is very handy. He ran the electrical but hates plumbing. He had a plumber friend do the installation. I am still learning the features. I find I have to squirm around a bit for the water to reach completely. The oscillating feature is great. The drying is very good too. It is still very warm in my climate, but I think I will love the heated seat on our rare cold days. I never want to be without the Bio Bidet 1000 and won't unless traveling. I can see where these would be wonderful for premenopause women and women who have recently given birth. Wish I'd had it back in those days. My husband is reluctant to try it, but once I convince him to I think he will be hooked and order one for his bathroom. Thank you bidetking.com and Bio Bidet! This seat is everything you expect. It's got 3 different washes (posterior, feminine, enema) and 3 options (regular stream, pulsating, oscillating). I replaced an existing toilet seat and had no issues, the whole process took only about 20 minutes (remember, I am NOT a plumber and have never done anything like this before). Having previously purchased a cheap model from some off the truck company, I was hesitant about trying one again. However, I noticed an immediate difference as soon as the box was opened. I was afraid that the seat would look like a grandpa’s seat in person but it’s got a rather sleek design. The workmanship on this seems to be smooth. I am aware that an appliance such as this experiences great stress from daily use but so far I have no issues with it and I am pleased with the outcome. I have never owned a bidet and wanted to try it out after traveling overseas and I have a septic tank so less TP is better. This is my first one and I'm not too overwhelmed with it like I thought I was going to be. There's a turbo feature that is more like cleaning your insides, but I'm not brave enough to try that one yet. I was worried that it would look large and bulky on a normal toilet but it looks fine on mine. It has its own tank to keep the water warm so it is a bit big but that's okay. The only downfalls that I have is that it has a limited range to hit. I have to scooch back to hit the girly parts. But there is a 'move' function which gets a bit further. Also, I'm not too fond of my legs getting wet. Yea, its weird but the water splashes and come out of the gap between the seat and the toilet. I'll fill that gap with something but I hope that's something that gets fixed in future/more expensive models.  Read Less

The set up is extremely easy and probably only took 5 mins since I knew what I was doing form the last install. It does offer a movement feature that paired with the main wash does a nice job but it's movement is again not nice as compared to the BB2000. The remote is probably the worst thing of this bidet. The one I have takes a lot of pressure to get it to work and the move feature while using the bidet was tricky to get it to function. Overall I am happy with the product for a secondary location due to price and function. But if you are thinking about this model for your main location, I would spend the extra money and get the BB2000, you won't be disappointed.  Read Less

I have decided to write a review on it now because I know there are people like me out there who are on the fence about it but actually really need something like this to be a part of their lives. I purchased this online a few months back. Like many others wrote reviews, I was also skeptical because this is a generally unheard of product where I live and I had very little information. The information that I found online gave me a basic understanding of what to expect: water spray and heated seat. At the time, I needed a bidet on short notice so I chose the BB-1000 based on the many reviews I read about it on various sites. Even after I received it, I still held some reservations against the product. I paid $500 and still raised an eyebrow at the thought of it. The installation I did myself since it was very straightforward and easy. The water is tapped straight from the wall valve and does not draw water from the toilet tank while the built in bidet tank heats the water. The heated water can be adjusted to three levels (low, medium, high) and the highest is very warm yet not painfully hot (aka perfect). The warm water lasts for 30 to 40 seconds and when I inquired about this I was informed that any longer than that would not be beneficial since it would weaken my tissue. This makes sense to me. I had compared and read about some bidets with in-line heaters and although that seems like a great feature and might entice some people, it makes sense that endless warm water can do more harm than good. My main concern was with where the water would come from or if it would affect my toilet’s flushing capabilities. Since the water used in the bidet comes straight from the water line, it doesn’t affect my toilet at all. Like the warm water, the heated seat can also be adjusted to three levels. With the recent chilly weather, I’ve kept it on the highest and it is so nice. Although one drawback is that it has become a bad habit to doze off on that seat in the mornings and makes waking up a little more difficult than usual. The deodorizer is unscented and eliminates some odors in the bathroom. It does start running once the seat is occupied and continues to run for a few seconds after the seat becomes unoccupied. This can be manually turned off if the slight humming noise bothers you. The cartridge contains active carbon, I read. The lid and seat are both soft closing. It is always better to shut the lid before you flush to prevent germs and bacteria from splashing out and the soft closing lid is nice since it won’t slam shut and startle you. The seat will not work unless it detects someone sitting on it. This is a great safety feature especially for those who have kids like I do who are prone to being curious and button mashing. And with the remote being so attractive and easily accessible to my kids, I have found that remote in my living room a few times so I’m glad that the bidet will not respond when they try to use the remote like a TV remote. This bidet has a 3-in-1 nozzle that is exclusive to this brand – one of the reasons I chose this model over others. The one nozzle contains the posterior wash, feminine wash, and vortex enema wash and is powered by a motor that regulates movement and flow. All three of these washes can be manipulated to move back and forth or pulsate. The pressure can also be changed according to my preference. The water stream on this bidet is mixed with air bubbles to create an aerated effect which causes the water to be more powerful yet gentler than conventional water streams. The posterior wash is your basic family wash. It will clean the rear with oscillating, pulsating, or stationary. The feminine wash also does the same but it reaches further up anatomically. The enema wash is a concentrated stream of water. This seems to be unique to this bidet and although I have no need for an enema yet at my stage in life, I can imagine this becoming a great tool in the future. The warm air dryer is just a pleasant flow of warm air that is a nice topper. This nozzle will “self-clean” in between each function. This means that water will be drained over the nozzle before and after each use so I do not have to worry about cleaning it myself. I purchased this for my 83 mother hoping it would be easy to use. It is average in simplicity. The buttons are strange and do not always work with a simple press even though you feel them click. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. The pressure is so high its painful on full (5), we ended up reducing to setting 2 of 5. Would rather had unit with less pressure and endless warm water. The jet is too centered and a wider spray seems like it would have been best especially since the jet does not oscillate right left, just fore / aft. The seat lid hinges seem very noisy, floppy and like they are loose, just feels low quality.
