By the time they unpacked it, almost a year had passed so they couldn’t return or exchange, hence it came to us. We were about to move so we saved it for our new home and a couple weeks ago we installed it. Installation was very simple and straightforward, and within minutes we were happily testing it out. Worked great, plenty of pressure and none of the connectors leaked which is always nice. It’s a comfortable seat too, and we really liked it. The fact that we were able to save toilet paper was cool but environmentally this comes at the expensive of increased water useage...not sure which is better to be honest. Needless to say, we were very pleased with the seat. However, two days ago water started pooling below the bidet/wash selector knob. Initially I thought it hadn’t been returned to the ‘off’ position but it was upright. I cleaned the water and the next morning it was there again. It became a twice daily ritual to clean up the water and we recently decided to remove the seat. Since it’s leaking at the knob, it’s not something that I can use plumbers tape or putty on. It’s likely a faulty internal seal. The warranty period has passed and we got it for free so we’re not too broken up about it, but for the brief period it was functioning we really liked it. It seems like a decent product, which the positive reviews here suggest, but I’d caution people to install it right away so any defects can be covered within the warranty period. This seat has a design flaw which the manufacturer does not acknowledge. The selector valve goes from off, to on full pressure then as you continue adjusting the lever to low pressure. This design has two problems 1) Usage is painful as you are subjected to a high pressure blast on you sensitive areas before you can dial the pressure down. 2) Flooding risk. This seat has a design flaw which the manufacturer does not acknowledge. The selector valve goes from off, to on full pressure then as you continue adjusting the lever to low pressure. This design has two problems 1) Usage is painful as you are subjected to a high pressure blast on you sensitive areas before you can dial the pressure down. 2) Flooding risk. The off position is with the lever in the fully upright position. Moving the lever ever so slightly forward or backwards results in a full pressure stream of water leaving the toilet heading towards the ceiling. If the lid is down the water blasts off the lid and sprays out the side. If the lid is up, the water goes a surprisingly long way. There was no detent to hold the lever in the off position, so with small kids in the house I could only imagine calamity. I expressed these design flaws to customer service when I tried to return. However because it had been installed, they would not take it back. How I was supposed to know of the problems before I installed I am not sure. Since bio bidet does not appear to stand behind this product, you may want to also take that into consideration when shopping.  Read Less
