Great value. Would buy again.

This is my first time purchasing a bidet. While there are a lot of bidets out there with various fancy features, e.g. heat/warm water, electronic controls, etc... and wondered if I would be missing out by not having those features, after purchasing and using the Brondell, I do not feel like I am missing out on anything. This is my first time purchasing a bidet. While there are a lot of bidets out there with various fancy features, e.g. heat/warm water, electronic controls, etc... and wondered if I would be missing out by not having those features, after purchasing and using the Brondell, I do not feel like I am missing out on anything. I also believe that keeping it simple means it will be less likely to break or fail. The bidet has one job to do and this unit does it well. It gets you clean and allows you to use less toilet paper. The interface is incredibly simple to use. Installation was a breeze and included everything you need. As for the lack of heat / warm water, this may vary from home to home, but I do not find the water cold at all. (I do keep a fairly fixed temperature on my thermostat, so I suspect my pipes do not get as cold as they otherwise could.) I will however add that my wife tried the feminine feature and found that the reach was not right for her. I can see how a woman might want one that offers more fine tuning. It is for this reason that I have given it 4 stars instead of 5. If you do not need the feminine feature, then this unit is a 5 out of 5. Aside from the feminine feature, if I could add just one thing to my wish list, it would be for a bidet seat made of ceramic/porcelain. I do not believe one exists on the market. That said, while I worried this seat would not be as comfortable or nice as the normal ceramic seat it replaces, I actually found this plastic seat to be more comfortable to sit on, such that I do not mind at all that it is plastic. The plastic does keep the cost down and means I would not worry much if it broke and needed replacing with a new unit.

Easy Install, Wonderfully Clean!

I purchased this after my son told me he had purchased a Bidet seat and liked it. I liked that this seat has sprays for both rear and front cleaning. It took a couple of uses to become accustomed to the cool water on my posterior but, after that, I have thoroughly enjoyed the cleaner feeling of using a bidet, rather than fold after fold of toilet paper. I have also reduced my toilet paper use to a minimum.

Quit thinking you’re too “manly” for this!

You have no idea how good this feels. This is the difference from cleaning peanut butter from your driveway with a paper towel vs pressure washing the peanut butter from your driveway. Feels funny at first, but you’ll get used to it. And guys, because I know you’ll try it, the front wash just makes your berries wet and nothing else. The rear wash is far more enjoyable!

What Are you waiting for? Get this!

We waited way too long to change to a bidet seat. Picked this up at my local lowes. Was easy to install, 15 minutes and done! Has the ability to install seat a bit forward or back if not quite right on first try. Seat can be removed for deeper cleaning back side of bowl rim. Wife loved the dual cleaning option for female cleaning also. We also love it has pressure control. We are glad we finally “took the plunge”.

Perfect

Simple, easy to install, easy to use. Love the front and back washes. Looks great and is very good quality. Replaces a much cheaper bidet seat, this one is far superior.

Very refined and affordable bidet!!

Can't say enough about the superb one-knob control on this seat; simply by twisting left or right the user controls: 1) water flow on or off, 2) directing water flow to front or back nozzle, 3) selecting weak or strong water pressure, and 4) activating nozzle self-cleaning. Just superb! We liked the unit so much, we ordered a second!

Works as advertised.

Excellent round bidet toilet seat that is very good quality and easy to install. The bidet has both front and back wash with a cleaning function for both directions. I found the round bidet not only easy to install but it fit the toilet perfectly. The adjustable bracket allows you to easily adjust the fit. My only recommendation when installing any bidet is to also install a T-Connector that includes a shut off valve. This enables you to shut of the water going to the bidet while allowing water to continue to flow to the toilet. I recommend the Brondell Bidet Toilet Seats.

Good, but be aware for install...

Be aware that if your order the one that uses cold water only, you lose the 2nd dial, which is designed to let you change the temperature easily (and even while in use)... but losing that also means losing that dial for pressure control when using cold only. This is huge, bc of pressure changes if you flush during a longer stay. Best to buy the one with the option for both hot and cold water even if you only hook up the cold, bc turning down hot when you have no hot effective...

This is huge, bc of pressure changes if you flush during a longer stay. Best to buy the one with the option for both hot and cold water even if you only hook up the cold, bc turning down hot when you have no hot effectively turns down the pressure instead. Great benefit! Other than that, it works pretty well and was easy to hook up except... this T adapter didn't mesh well with the toilet tank (and this isn't my first bidet hookup... had been easy and flawless in the past, same brand & model except 1st was dual-temp)... until I tried switching out to a different type and size rubber washer to the tank. Presto, no more cross-threading and no more leaks. Do be aware that the hose to the bidet seat is only a 3/8" diameter, so if you switch to a different T adapter (which I did, to get another shutoff valve at that point), you will need an adapter. This is bc *shutoff* bidet T's (as apposed to simple T's) tend to have a larger hose interface (1/2") bc they are often used to fit diaper sprays instead of bidet seats (bigger hoses). Some shutoff bidet T's now come with a separate 1/2-to-3/8 adaptor that can be used or omitted as needed. These are a great idea and save a lot of disappointment. Wish more things were standardized in plumbing! P.s. If you find your hoses no longer come forward - grasp then with clean toilet paper with bidet on, once. Then check your pressure. We had to turn the pressure way down at the split valve (to avoid injury from the high pressure), which was then perfect ... IF you didn't flush first. Flushing reduces the pressure, so our turn-down became too far down if we flushed first. - too little pressure to activate the hoses to come out. So you have to choose between setting the overall toilet supply pressure to be either ideal for pre-flush, or ideal for post-miduse-"courtesy"-flush. I'm actually planning to try another, more expensive (and electricity-requiring) brand to see if others clean better. Our first Brondell had a very narrow stream, so didn't clean great without a tremendous amount of wiggling and associated water everywhere. This one has a slightly wider spray, but with the sensation water is streaming almost level, front to back (for both rear & female washes- never a good direction for females.

Awesome!

This is by far the greatest, easiest, convenient, and affordable option for a bidet! I've wasted more money on the raggedy plastic back piece bidet systems out there and I'm extremely upset with myself about it! This has such a squeaky clean sensation on both ends. I will be the spokesperson for Brondell like the Charmin Bears if they'd like...

[Incentivized Review] Perfect wash with the Brondell Swash!

Can anyone explain to me why we Americans have not hopped on board the bidet train? Can anyone explain to me why we Americans have not hopped on board the bidet train? They've been using bidets in Europe for decades...almost every bathroom I've ever visited during my many trips to Europe has had a bidet. Even the cheapest hotel room in a low-rent district, or the humblest little water closet in the back corner of an unassuming trattoria, has a bidet. Most of the private homes we've been in had them in every WC. And yet we never find them in the US, unless you are staying at the Ritz or some chi-chi hotel populated by wealthy international clientele. We just bought this. Now this might seem like an extravagance, but we did so because we have learned that the plumbing system in our 50-year-old house is rather fragile, and we were searching for ways to reduce the strain on it, thereby ultimately saving money in future plumbing repairs. Without being indelicate, let me just explain that using one of these can mean far less usage of TP. Which is not only good for our ancient pipes, but also for saving trees. We got it today, and it's AWESOME! Easy installation. Heated seat (awfully welcome during these coldest days of the year), gentle stream of warm water, adjustable nozzle position for either...as they say euphemistically in the manual..."back" or "front" washing. And some other interesting features too, which I haven't yet explored, and might not. Here's the thing: Americans tend to be far more fastidious than other parts of the world, in terms of bathing frequency, general hygiene, germaphobia, etc. And yet we walk around with dirty bums, while our less-frequently-bathed European brethren walk around with nice clean ones! I don't get it. Join me! Buy one of these and let's start a bidet revolution! Clean bums everywhere!
