Always wanted a heated, warm water, blow drying high-end Toto Washlet, but I have no easy outlet or warm water supply. I bought a couple of attachments that attach under your existing seat, but did not like how the seat fit over them. So I gave the Brondell a try.

Easy to install. I had to remove a rigid water line to the toilet tank and replace with a flexible line (not included). Other than that, this was a pretty easy install, even for those who aren’t terribly handy. You can see from my pictures that the included hose from the tank to seat is ridiculously long, but you can put a coil in it and hide it fairly well.
The seat is plastic, but is of decent quality. The color is a little different white than my existing Kohler fixtures, but it’s OK. The soft close feature is great. Controls are super easy.
I have very cold water in the winter, but it turns out that it is not bothersome. Using a bidet was a small learning experience. After testing the quality of the clean with toilet paper a few times, I recommend letting it rinse you for about 30 seconds to get a consistently pristine clean. I also have a few wash cloths that I use to pat dry as there is no drying mechanism and you are left pretty wet — it takes too much toilet paper to get dry. Brondell actually sells bidet cloths, which seem to be wash cloths with a little hook for hanging.
Overall, I wish I had done this years ago. Anytime I have to use an away toilet, it feels barbaric and unclean to use toilet paper. Don’t let cold water and lack of built-in drying stop you. Do this today.

This is my first time purchasing a bidet. While there are a lot of bidets out there with various fancy features, e.g. heat/warm water, electronic controls, etc... and wondered if I would be missing out by not having those features, after purchasing and using the Brondell, I do not feel like I am missing out on anything. I also believe that keeping it simple means it will be less likely to break or fail.

The bidet has one job to do and this unit does it well. It gets you clean and allows you to use less toilet paper. The interface is incredibly simple to use. Installation was a breeze and included everything you need. As for the lack of heat / warm water, this may vary from home to home, but I do not find the water cold at all. (I do keep a fairly fixed temperature on my thermostat, so I suspect my pipes do not get as cold as they otherwise could.)
I will however add that my wife tried the feminine feature and found that the reach was not right for her. I can see how a woman might want one that offers more fine tuning. It is for this reason that I have given it 4 stars instead of 5. If you do not need the feminine feature, then this unit is a 5 out of 5.
Aside from the feminine feature, if I could add just one thing to my wish list, it would be for a bidet seat made of ceramic/porcelain. I do not believe one exists on the market. That said, while I worried this seat would not be as comfortable or nice as the normal ceramic seat it replaces, I actually found this plastic seat to be more comfortable to sit on, such that I do not mind at all that it is plastic. The plastic does keep the cost down and means I would not worry much if it broke and needed replacing with a new unit.

Love that cold jet of water

We are two seniors who love this bidet. I was worried that the stream of water looked wimpy, but it isn't. We weren't sure how we would feel about the cold water, but even at 2 a.m. in an unheated bathroom in November, it's fine. We don't think that warm water would be an improvement. I like that the control knob is small. Installation went smoothly. We use about a quarter of the toilet paper that we used to, which is nice for a septic system.

Easy Install, Wonderfully Clean!
one startwo starsthree starsfour starsfive stars
I purchased this after my son told me he had purchased a Bidet seat and liked it. I liked that this seat has sprays for both rear and front cleaning. It took a couple of uses to become accustomed to the cool water on my posterior but, after that, I have thoroughly enjoyed the cleaner feeling of using a bidet, rather than fold after fold of toilet paper. I have also reduced my toilet paper use to a minimum.

Fantastic product for the whole family!

This was my first purchase of a bidet, I was hesitant due to all the many options but after careful consideration and research this seemed the better option in terms for price and style. It has a soft lid, sleek style, easy install. It doesn’t have the warm water option but that doesn’t leave me wanting it. It’s a great family friendly household product we installed on all bathrooms and we are extremely satisfied with our purchase.

Great addition to the bathroom!

Purchased the Brondell model S-101 elongated bidet seat from Lowes and really like it. Very well designed and strong structure. Jets get to all the right places and easy to control flow and pressure. Cold water no problem even in winter. Installation very simple and all the parts needed were there. Just had to buy another flexible riser from the spigot since mine was fixed. BTW, Lowes had best price. Well worth the price and glad I bought it.

[Incentivized Review] Happy I bought this

I’m really happy with this. It was easy for me to install - no leaks - and it does exactly what it was designed to do. I worried about the lack of warm water, but it isn’t a problem for me.

Works as described.

It does what it is supposed to do. Installation was a bear but that was due to the setup that I have here in my rental (ancient fixtures and hoses, and an extremely tight area to work in).
Bidet feature is quite powerful. The Ambient water temperature is basically cold, at least here in the Upper Tier in winter. It's not as bad as it sounds, just takes a few seconds to adjust to the cool spray.

I took off one star because the elongated seat apparently does not fit every elongated toilet. On mine, the seat is a half inch or more too far back and no amount of adjusting fixes that. It works okay, but it looks weird.
I took off another star because the seat loosens with every use--it can be tight and not moving at all but after a person sits on it the seat is loose and can be moved around significantly. We have to retighten both sides after EVERY use. It's not a deal breaker, but it really shouldn't be this way.
I have only had it installed for two days so all I can say at this point is that it works as described and, in normal conditions, is an easy install. I had to turn down the water flow coming in from the wall so the nozzle spray was not so powerful. I don't like that the seat loosens but I have looked at all the videos and I have it installed properly so it seems this is just how it is now and how it will always be.
I will update if any of the above changes for better or worse.

intergrated bidet seat best way to go
one startwo starsthree starsfour starsfive stars
We were using a bidet attachment but we tried this seat with the bidet integrated into it and found it works much better. Additional benefits include easier cleaning under the toilet rim since the spray jets don’t stick down. The seats themselves are very comfortable too. Finally, and most importantly it provides a much better cleaning experience all for just under $100. Id highly recommend it for a bidet using room temp water.
