Why didn't I buy this sooner?
one startwo starsthree starsfour starsfive stars
I had wanted a bidet for a while and did some research. Saw this at Home Depot yesterday and the price was right. Bought it and installed it. Works well! Very easy to install and the online video helped. I live in California and the ambient temperature (July) is fine. Need to see what happens in the winter. But for now, the only question I asked myself is: Why didn't I buy this sooner?

This is my first time purchasing a bidet. While there are a lot of bidets out there with various fancy features, e.g. heat/warm water, electronic controls, etc... and wondered if I would be missing out by not having those features, after purchasing and using the Brondell, I do not feel like I am missing out on anything. I also believe that keeping it simple means it will be less likely to break or fail.

The bidet has one job to do and this unit does it well. It gets you clean and allows you to use less toilet paper. The interface is incredibly simple to use. Installation was a breeze and included everything you need. As for the lack of heat / warm water, this may vary from home to home, but I do not find the water cold at all. (I do keep a fairly fixed temperature on my thermostat, so I suspect my pipes do not get as cold as they otherwise could.)
I will however add that my wife tried the feminine feature and found that the reach was not right for her. I can see how a woman might want one that offers more fine tuning. It is for this reason that I have given it 4 stars instead of 5. If you do not need the feminine feature, then this unit is a 5 out of 5.
Aside from the feminine feature, if I could add just one thing to my wish list, it would be for a bidet seat made of ceramic/porcelain. I do not believe one exists on the market. That said, while I worried this seat would not be as comfortable or nice as the normal ceramic seat it replaces, I actually found this plastic seat to be more comfortable to sit on, such that I do not mind at all that it is plastic. The plastic does keep the cost down and means I would not worry much if it broke and needed replacing with a new unit.

Very easy installation. I first use a bidet in Thailand and was so amazed how well it cleaned. I was not sure if I could handle the cold water on my tush but it is not a problem. The feature I like is you can vary the cleansing water pressure. No more stinky tush or skid marks in your undies. The price is very reasonable and I would recommend this product to everyone!

Works as described.

It does what it is supposed to do. Installation was a bear but that was due to the setup that I have here in my rental (ancient fixtures and hoses, and an extremely tight area to work in).
Bidet feature is quite powerful. The Ambient water temperature is basically cold, at least here in the Upper Tier in winter. It's not as bad as it sounds, just takes a few seconds to adjust to the cool spray.

I took off one star because the elongated seat apparently does not fit every elongated toilet. On mine, the seat is a half inch or more too far back and no amount of adjusting fixes that. It works okay, but it looks weird.
I took off another star because the seat loosens with every use--it can be tight and not moving at all but after a person sits on it the seat is loose and can be moved around significantly. We have to retighten both sides after EVERY use. It's not a deal breaker, but it really shouldn't be this way.
I have only had it installed for two days so all I can say at this point is that it works as described and, in normal conditions, is an easy install. I had to turn down the water flow coming in from the wall so the nozzle spray was not so powerful. I don't like that the seat loosens but I have looked at all the videos and I have it installed properly so it seems this is just how it is now and how it will always be.
I will update if any of the above changes for better or worse.

intergrated bidet seat best way to go

We were using a bidet attachment but we tried this seat with the bidet integrated into it and found it works much better. Additional benefits include easier cleaning under the toilet rim since the spray jets don’t stick down. The seats themselves are very comfortable too. Finally, and most importantly it provides a much better cleaning experience all for just under $100. Id highly recommend it for a bidet using room temp water.

We've had this product for over a month and love it. Water for the cold supply is not offensive or even noticeable for that matter.

Been told how great bidets are but wasn't sure if I'd be comfortable with it and also didn't want to spend a lot. This is affordable, easy to install, and works like a dream! I never feel gross anymore. Cannot recommend more highly. Water temp is fine without being heated.

I absolutely love this bidet and highly recommend everyone to get a bidet. You honestly save on toilet paper and you feel sooooo much cleaner. I've owned a handheld bidet and a Tushy bidet and none of it compares to this one because it's an actual toilet seat so you don't have to worry about adjusting the bidet to the toilet seat. I'm a new homeowner with no plumbing experience and was able to install this bidet. Also, another plus is since it only uses tepid water, it doesn't require any additional hoses or outlets.

I'd been thinking about it for a while, wanting to use less TP to help the environment, and the current COVID-19 TP shortage nudged me to purchase. The Ecoseat 101 is very easy to install and requires no special tools. There's an installation video on YouTube (much more helpful than the instruction book,) and installation took me about 30 minutes from start to finish. I agree with the poster who said the water pressure can be too strong, and that matters because water can fly through my legs and wet the front of the seat and floor. The water temperature is no problem, and with the Ecoseat I need a lot less TP. It's easy to use and a very good value for the price.
