I am happy with this item but the seat will not stay up for men to use. I tried adjusting it but it still doesn’t stay. The bidet works wonderfully.

I read a lot of reviews for over a month before finally deciding to get this bidet seat, so I feel a need to help others in their decision too. I think this functions as well as any bidet seat can, but I also think that many people are not exactly honest in their reviews. I read a lot of reviews for over a month before finally deciding to get this bidet seat, so I feel a need to help others in their decision too. I think this functions as well as any bidet seat can, but I also think that many people are not exactly honest in their reviews. First, you are left very wet, you have to wiggle side to side, and as a woman have to lean way forward if you want it to clean everywhere. So, even if you are completely clean, you are soaked. Personally, I have no desire to have a basket full of little towels that I need to wash every day. I already went through cloth diapers for 3 children! If you use toilet paper, it will take more paper than you used in the past, and the toilet paper sort of falls apart. 2nd it splashes, so you need to wipe off the seat, and really should lift the lid and wipe there too. 3rd) as much as I wiggle and squirm and use both rear and forward wash, I still have some wiping to do. I haven't figured out why yet, but I figure after one week, I qualify to write a review. The other issue is that it is a bit small on our oval toilet, and i think that probably one cleaning wand would do better than two, since one could be centered while with 2 each is slightly off center. I think it's important that people realize that most of these issues are going to be there no matter how much money you spend. In many countries where water is used, they also use their hands to clean their private areas. So all the ads showing them smearing the peanut butter with toilet paper and then washing it off with their hand and water are accurate, but most of us purchasing these bidets have no intention of using our hands like that. For the pluses, the spray is adjustable and plenty strong enough. It actually can be rather painful, so certainly having stronger pressure is not needed, the cold water is okay, operation is easy once you get used to it. Maybe some others don't have to move around so much, but if you think about it, we have to maneuver quite a bit when we wipe too, so that's not much of an issue. I would recommend this unit, although there was one from American Hygenics that I looked at that probably does a better job. I thought that one would leave a person way too wet and it was rather ugly, it still is rather ugly, but I think now that all bidets leave you very wet, so you may wish to look at that. The nice thing about this one is that you get to try the bidet experience. It does wash most of the "poop" off, and you do feel cleaner after. Definitely, the heated seat, opening lid, and light are not needed unless you are the type of person who uses the toilet truly as your throne room. This is a decently priced great bidet. Just be aware that all those questions that were in the back of your mind (what about splash, how does it really clean everywhere, aren't you wet after, etc) are legit. From all the reviews I read none of the dryers really work, and even if they did, I doubt most of us want to sit on the toilet for that long.

Doesn't work

Cheap plastic, seat doesn't stay up and it doesn't work. Use just as much toilet paper as before.
