Really like the warm seat on cool nights. The blue light is attractive. The warm water is comfortable. The charcoal filter does its job.

Nothing fancy, just an affordable, clean bottom

This all in one seat and bidet is so much better than just adding a bidet attachment. Our last one didn't quite sit well with the existing seat and ended up cracking. Also the handle is low profile unlike attachment bidets that often stick out. No fancy lights or heat, just an affordable, clean bottom :)

If you're questioning getting a bidet, then this is the best starter for you. Brondell was easy to install and the dual option of cold & warm water allows warmer access to clean your private parts. There is no need for an electrical outlet which was great as this was installed in our 2-piece guest bathroom. We did have to go and get additional pieces for the hot water supply. (Could just be the way that our bathroom is configured). The design is small and thin with comfort & soft closing lid. Th...

If your looking for other features such as heating, and remote control access, then take a look at a different model but if you are new to the bidet world and want a fresh start, then this bidet is perfect! Thanks for keeping us clean Brondell!!

Great Entry into Better Hygiene

I ordered this Brondell Ecoseat instead of the other major online direct-to-consumer brand all my friends have because I just could not get on board with a large control arm coming out the side of my toilet...another thing to sanitize too often! Also, the idea of a bidet under-seat attachement changing the height of your toilet seat or sticking out behind, just wasn't appealing to me.

This product was no more than $20 more than the trendy DTC brand attachment, and I already hated the toilet seat my apartment came with, so I figured I'd give this a shot.
I'm so glad I spent the extra couple bucks! My toilet is an elongated toilet, and the prior seat that was on it courtesy of the landlord was just SOO long and it felt like it was banked inward, which caused me lots of discomfort when I needed to use it longer than 2 minutes.
For reference, I am a 32 year old woman, 5'4" and 120 pounds-- petite by American standards.
The Brondell does indeed have a much smaller opening than my previous toilet. I was actually afraid I had ordered the wrong shape/size when I opened it up. But as a petite person, I prefer this smaller opening and the curve of the seat doesn't try to slide me into falling in the toilet, like my regular toilet seat did.
I installed it myself in about 20 min (I had to go back and forth to the instructions to check my work and next step, a little obsessive like that).
Regarding the bidet features, the cold water doesn't bother me at all-- if anything I find it refreshing and it gives me the feeling of actually getting clean. Yes, I take hot showers, but there's something about a warm toilet seat that makes me feel like I'm not alone, or using a toilet in a long line at Disney World....I don't need warm water or a warm butt for this particular application.
If you are bummed that your sink isn't near your toilet to make the heated/hot and cold water version an option, don't be. Unless you live in Maine or Vermont or Nova Scotia, you probably don't need the extra heat on your seat.
The pressure is a little much at first-- it took me a few days to really get through the learning curve of the automatic rinsing feature that it goes through when you turn the dial 1/4 turn either direction. I stuck with it though and after a few days I found the correct position for me to sit at, and the correct area on the dial that serves the right amount of pressure for me on front rinse and back rinse.
Some folks have mentioned that because that auto-cleaning feature shoots water down, it makes whatever is in the toilet spray you a little. I feel there may be truth in that, so my routine is to flush first, then rinse, and then pat/dab dry with a little bit of toilet paper. Then, to not waste water flushing twice on every use, I try to dispose of the TP in the wastebasket next to the toilet. Sometimes, you may still want to flush again after rinsing, in which case by all means, you should!
I feel great about how much less TP I consume now, and even when I am not home, using a normal toilet, my TP use has gone way down as I am more mindful of the amount I'm using, fold carefully, clean intentionally, rather than just balling it up and sending it.
All in all I give it 4 stars, not 5, because it is not without its quirks, but it is a solid well-made product that I feel has given me an improved sense of hygiene and made the bathroom just a little nicer.

This bidet toilet seat is a quality product. Well made for easy installation and use. With all of the features; hot and cold water, seat warmers, lighting and warm air fanned in for drying, would some one please add a way to adjust the direction of the water jet. Tushy has a minor adjustment. At least on their Spa attachment.

I read a lot of reviews for over a month before finally deciding to get this bidet seat, so I feel a need to help others in their decision too. I think this functions as well as any bidet seat can, but I also think that many people are not exactly honest in their reviews. I read a lot of reviews for over a month before finally deciding to get this bidet seat, so I feel a need to help others in their decision too. I think this functions as well as any bidet seat can, but I also think that many people are not exactly honest in their reviews. First, you are left very wet, you have to wiggle side to side, and as a woman have to lean way forward if you want it to clean everywhere. So, even if you are completely clean, you are soaked. Personally, I have no desire to have a basket full of little towels that I need to wash every day. I already went through cloth diapers for 3 children! If you use toilet paper, it will take more paper than you used in the past, and the toilet paper sort of falls apart. 2nd it splashes, so you need to wipe off the seat, and really should lift the lid and wipe there too. 3rd) as much as I wiggle and squirm and use both rear and forward wash, I still have some wiping to do. I haven't figured out why yet, but I figure after one week, I qualify to write a review. The other issue is that it is a bit small on our oval toilet, and i think that probably one cleaning wand would do better than two, since one could be centered while with 2 each is slightly off center. I think it's important that people realize that most of these issues are going to be there no matter how much money you spend. In many countries where water is used, they also use their hands to clean their private areas. So all the ads showing them smearing the peanut butter with toilet paper and then washing it off with their hand and water are accurate, but most of us purchasing these bidets have no intention of using our hands like that. For the pluses, the spray is adjustable and plenty strong enough. It actually can be rather painful, so certainly having stronger pressure is not needed, the cold water is okay, operation is easy once you get used to it. Maybe some others don't have to move around so much, but if you think about it, we have to maneuver quite a bit when we wipe too, so that's not much of an issue. I would recommend this unit, although there was one from American Hygenics that I looked at that probably does a better job. I thought that one would leave a person way too wet and it was rather ugly, it still is rather ugly, but I think now that all bidets leave you very wet, so you may wish to look at that. The nice thing about this one is that you get to try the bidet experience. It does wash most of the "poop" off, and you do feel cleaner after. Definitely, the heated seat, opening lid, and light are not needed unless you are the type of person who uses the toilet truly as your throne room. This is a decently priced great bidet. Just be aware that all those questions that were in the back of your mind (what about splash, how does it really clean everywhere, aren't you wet after, etc) are legit. From all the reviews I read none of the dryers really work, and even if they did, I doubt most of us want to sit on the toilet for that long.
