As advertised.
The on off knob does not have a stop; you have to finetune it to shut it off. If you are a guy, be ready for the seat to fall back down when pushed up. Otherwise, it works as advertised.

Slow close lid broke within weeks
I was looking for a slow close toilet seat and thought this one looked good seeing as how I have also been interested in purchasing a bidet. I bought two seats, and the slow close lid on both stopped working within days of each other. We are not rough with them (if we had, I would not be writing a review), so I am not sure why they quit working like they were supposed to. The bidet part works fine, but, overall, I am pretty disappointed with these seats.

Great simple streamlined bidet!
This bidet is a great mix between the low priced units that have controls bulging out from the side and the higher priced units with all the bells and whistles. Easy to install, simple discrete one knob controls, effective self cleaning function, sprayers hit the target, doesn’t change look of toilet, slow close lid and seat, good price point. Highly recommended!

Excellent - life changer
Always wanted a heated, warm water, blow drying high-end Toto Washlet, but I have no easy outlet or warm water supply. I bought a couple of attachments that attach under your existing seat, but did not like how the seat fit over them. So I gave the Brondell a try. Easy to install. I had to remove a rigid water line to the toilet tank and replace with a flexible line (not included). Other than that, this was a pretty easy install, even for those who aren’t terribly handy. I had to remove a rigid water line to the toilet tank and replace with a flexible line (not included). Other than that, this was a pretty easy install, even for those who aren’t terribly handy. You can see from my pictures that the included hose from the tank to seat is ridiculously long, but you can put a coil in it and hide it fairly well. The seat is plastic, but is of decent quality. The color is a little different white than my existing Kohler fixtures, but it’s OK. The soft close feature is great. Controls are super easy. I have very cold water in the winter, but it turns out that it is not bothersome. Using a bidet was a small learning experience. After testing the quality of the clean with toilet paper a few times, I recommend letting it rinse you for about 30 seconds to get a consistently pristine clean. I also have a few wash cloths that I use to pat dry as there is no drying mechanism and you are left pretty wet — it takes too much toilet paper to get dry. Brondell actually sells bidet cloths, which seem to be wash cloths with a little hook for hanging. Overall, I wish I had done this years ago. Anytime I have to use an away toilet, it feels barbaric and unclean to use toilet paper. Don’t let cold water and lack of built-in drying stop you. Do this today.

Love it so much we bought one for our master bath too! Great inexpensive way to have a bidet without buying a whole new toilet. Great quality. Includes everything you need and is easy to install. The water pressure is fantastic and cleans very well. Love the additional feminine setting. The soft close lid is awesome, no more slamming lid. Love that I feel clean and fresh, can’t imagine how we lived without a bidet all these years!

Brondell Eco Seat Bidet
I purchased the toilet seat bidet for my bathroom Jan 2021. It was easy to install and functions great. I love the slow closing lid. At times, my husband goes in my bathroom because he doesn’t have a bidet yet. I figured if I bought mine, he should buy his. Ha. My only complaint is the lid squeaks if you shift weight on the toilet. Otherwise, I love the bidet, and wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.

Excellent Bidet for American Homes
I went to Lowe's to purchase a self closing lid and came across this Brondell Swash Ecoseat Bidet Toilet Seat. Instead of purchasing just a lid the self closes, I splurged on this seat and I'm so happy I did. It has changed my life. I'm already feel cleaner and soon will see the savings from less usage of toilet paper. Win, win! Five stars!

I purchased this bidet for my daughter in law for her birthday. She absolutely loves it! It was simple to install and works so great. I love the soft close lid and the fact you can remove it easily to clean. It arrived quickly and was well packaged.

We had a plumber install it with our new Toto Drake II and he had no complaints about the installation process. It works as described. Yes, it only supplies cold water, but that is not an issue in Arizona. Nozzles are positioned perfectly, seat is comfortable. Soft close is a bonus. Wish we had purchased this years ago.

Never have that "not so fresh feeling" ever again
I purchased this because it was the only soft close seat in the store. It was the beginning of the pandemic and the TP was being horded. Anyway this was beyond all expectations. Easy to install the cold water was never too cold... and I don't worry about leaving the house without a clean bum. I can get hit by a car and only worry about skidmarks in the road and not on my undies.
