I like many features of my Brondell S1000 bidet, including the shape, comfort, and controls. But I was disappointed when it began to fall apart. First, a water leak developed from the side [arrow #1 in photo] that was typically triggered by sitting on the seat or getting off. Apparently, this is a well-known problem with an internal gasket that could not be easily replaced; Brondell does not supply the gasket and keeps its size a secret, according to a YouTube video that documents the complex procedure for replacing it with the best approximation. I never attempted this difficult repair and simply caught the dripping water in a sponge for over a year. Second, the seat developed a large crack over the hinge [#2], more of an aesthetic than a functional issue. And finally, the whole back of the seat cracked in half [#3]. This all happened with normal use, under normal loads, indicating that the strength of the materials is inadequate. Given these serious defects I requested a replacement, but Brondell advised me that the warranty period has expired, and that I should pay for a repair myself or buy a replacement. Not their responsibility anymore. My experience is consistent with many other one-star reviews. Buyers beware! Read Less

Who wants to hear that in the middle of the night?! So I tried a Kohler bidet thinking it would be worth the price; but it had an auto sprayer as soon as you sat down. So I took a chance with this product for my daughter’s bathroom (test it on her first 🤭), and she LOVES it. Finally found the one that is perfect. No automatic anything. Matter of fact, the bidet sprayer doesn’t work unless it has skin contact. If you sit down with clothing on, it won’t work. Nice sleek look. Fits perfectly on the elongated bowl, not like others. You can control everything with the remote or side panel. You can even turn off the night light. Some seats won’t allow. Since she will be the only person using the seat, I am sure the carbon filter will not be as overwhelming as I read from other reviews. The remote buttons are intuitive and slightly raised to allow easier sensory control and backlighting (once you touch) for easy visuals at night. She loves the heated seat and everything else about this product. And yes, I plan to purchase another to replace my ridiculous beeping seat. Highly recommend! Read Less

Since my purchase was within the return window, I chose to return my bidet back to Amazon and purchased another. The new Swash 1400 is working like my previous bidet. This is a great bidet with good features. I would buy another with hindsight. Don't forget that Brondell's warranty procedure sucks. They also require the original box for shipping back to them. I tried he Bio-Bidet 2000 out of curiosity, but I should have stayed with the Brondell I already loved! It works great and has an intuitive control panel—which is extra important when I rent my house out to guests. The Bio-Bidet’s digital style remote is hard to read. After a week I still don’t understand how to use it. Forget using it ant night. Also, it has a stream that’s piercing! It was shockingly sharp-feeling. After using the Brondell for so long, I realize I should not have to struggle to read or understand the control panel like I had to with the Bio-Bidet. The Brondell has it all worked out. Things I love: The magnetic control panel for easy return to the wall mount. The water stream options: wider to less so, warmer to cooler, front to back The self-cleaning The fan and deodorizing The soft glow of the night light The fabulous warm seat This is the one!
