I installed the Swash 1400. Installation was straight forward and needed no specialized tools, Nothing complicated. It is sturdy but still has a sleek design. This bidet is amazing. I installed the Swash 1400. Installation was straight forward and needed no specialized tools, Nothing complicated. It is sturdy but still has a sleek design. This bidet is amazing. It washes comfortably with your choice of water temperature, stream width and water pressure. It even dries you off with warm air! I can tell we'll be using way less toilet paper. It even has two customize-able presets, so our child can have his own button, all set up for his small size. This model cost a bit more, but we're very glad with our choice, as we love all the features: heated seat, oscillating wash, warm air dryer, and replaceable deodorizing filters, and the Eco mode which turns off the power when not in use. This is a 5 star luxury bidet, and we feel like royalty!  Read Less

I’m loving the Swash 1400 bidet toilet seat! I thought it would be complicated to use after reading the book, but reading the book prepared me to use the remote with complete understanding and success. I love all the variations available. Different seat temps, water temps, as well as pressure and width all serve their purpose in different situations. I love the position options and the moving choice. I thought I would not use the deodorizer because I dislike artificial, perfumey smells. I was thrilled to learn that the technology in the deodorizer takes care of some smells without adding others. I love the sterilizer and use it a lot. It was easy to install. The most fun part is warning guests about the “hello” they will hear from the weird looking toilet seat as soon as skin makes contact with it. If you have a large bathroom, I would recommend getting an elongated toilet and an elongated bidet seat. Our bathroom is tiny and we are small people so the round version works for us, but I can see where it might be a challenge for some people. Five stars from me!  Read Less

Made of good quality materials - solid feel; robust build. Lots of options, but simple. For example, there are multiple settings for water temperature, seat temperature, air dry temperature, water pressure, etc., but each 'item' has 3 levels - low, medium, high. So it's very straightforward. I like the oscillating feature of the spray. I like the lighted basin (for nighttime use). The remote is straightforward and I like the easy magnetic mount. Personally, I nearly always use the lowest pressure setting. The highest pressure is all I can ever conceive of needing. I can't imagine the 'firehose' of some of those other bidets.  Read Less

Bad headline pun aside, we're happy with our purchase so far. It's installed in a half bath where a true bidet installation wasn't an option--now I'm thankful it wasn't. Overall, the Brondell Swash 1400 bidet seat is much better an actual bidet. The heated seat, stainless steel wands, integrated nightlight, back and forth spray option, rear or front spray option, sterilization, immediate warm water, dryer and air deodorizer filter, etc. make for a wonderful experience. The heated seat, stainless steel wands, integrated nightlight, back and forth spray option, rear or front spray option, sterilization, immediate warm water, dryer and air deodorizer filter, etc. make for a wonderful experience. The step-by-step installation video on Bidetsplus.com was reassuring and helpful. The install took less time than expected and was very easy. We recommend the Swash 1400 without reservation. We purchased the inline water filter even though we have a Kinetico water softener system. The claim is that the Swash 1400 and its heater will last longer by installing it. Since the filters cost so little for the benefit they provide, it makes sense to add this to your cart. At first, we felt a slight rise in the back of the seat, but we don't really notice it now. One possible future upgrade: It would be nice to have a dimmer on the blue night light.  Read Less
