Great! My family loves it! - but one design flaw.
I got a 1400 almost a year ago as part of a reno. It works great and is easy to install. You only need a power receptacle nearby. Only design flaw is that the lid and seat's slow-close hinges (dampers) tend to break easily with a little bit of force as the mounting screws are secured to a small part of the plastic housing. Any toddler can snap it putting the lid down quickly.

A great investment!
I’m simply loving my awash 1400! It a complete bidet seat with separate nozzles for front and back, that are surprisingly accurate, One has a selection of water tempt, degree of pressure and width of spray for each nozzle. A sterilization and deodorizing setting. Then there’s the air drying fan that is really refreshing. I love this bidet seat! So glad I made the change. It’s well worth the investment! It also has a seat heating setting as well as a pleasing soft blue light for night use. The seat top also closes softly and can bear weight of a person or in my case my granddaughter who stands on the seat top to brush her teeth and wash her hands sometimes. Lol. I highly recommend this bidet.

SOOOO easy to install. The seat is comfortable and the blue light of the bowl is really great at night. I love the 'slow close' lid. The adjustable settings for every feature and personal programing feature is fabulous. You really are the KING of bidets.

I purchased this three years ago and immediately fell in love with it. The Swash 1400 is the first bidet I had ever used and I think I was more excited about how clean and refreshed to realize the faults. Pros. 1. I love the clean look with the power and water connections more hidden from view better then other models. 2. I really appreciate the night light in the bowl great for aiming. 3. The Swash 1400 is the first bidet I had ever used and I think I was more excited about how clean and refreshed to realize the faults. Pros. 1. I love the clean look with the power and water connections more hidden from view better then other models. 2. I really appreciate the night light in the bowl great for aiming. 3. The water pressure and adjustments was great. 4. Soft close seat. 5. Heated seat 6. Two user memory settings. Cons. 1. The plastic seat feels flimsy 2. The angle of seating is weird you end up spraying the back top of toilet with poo which on my toilet doesn't clean as well after flushing. 3. The water temperature breaker keeps tripping once a month or so (unplug for a few minutes and it would reset). Spray's super heated water for 1-2 seconds before tripping 4. The volume of beeps is not adjustable. My overall opinion is that I'm disappointed that the seat only lasted three years. I feel that something that cost this much should last longer. I never felt that this was a quality product. I reached out to Brondell several times and the response were more canned and took several days to answer my concerns. For my second seat I have decided to try the Bio Bidet BB-2000. I will leave a review on that seat after I have used it longer but already the quality just feels better.

[Incentivized Review] Nice upgrade from the 1000, but…
We had a Swash 1000 for a few years and were excited to upgrade. While there are some nice new features with the 1400, there are some annoyances. The spray does not seem as strong as the 1000. The round seat style changed to not being as round and more like a small elongated, which is very odd. The seat and lid close so slowly. I trust this brand but am disappointed by the changes. I had hoped for me with the cost.

Blue light that’s lite all the time, the lid closes slowly when you give a little push on it. I wanted round and in beige or almond, not white, this was the only bidet seat that had that feature. I saw others that said no more paper, I do not agree, my opinion you still need to use paper, maybe not as much, but it i...

King of bidet
Just install while ago, read some reviews about the pressure is not very strong, but it turns enough pressure for me on low pressure setting. Slow closing lid is amazing no noise at all, lot more function. Love the led light, replaceable filter clear instruction. I only got little bit trouble to install, because i had pvc pipe hose, when i try plug in t valve it didn't hook very well, i end up strip it and replace whole things cost about 20bucks parts from home depot, an hour plus labor. Other than that is great.
