My Bidet
Due to my limited flexibility and vision I find the controls are almost out of reach and my sight range. However the seat and functions seem generally quite helpful. I am sure as I get more familiar with it it will be easier for me to use.

Gets the job done
Very satisfied with the purchase. I bought 4, for each of my bathrooms and installation was easy and quick. All I used was a flat head. However, there could still be some improvements: - 'Strong' mode could be stronger - Soft-close lid takes. forever to close Even with these slight drawbacks, the DR801 is an excellent product, and I would buy it again.

[Incentivized Review] Great bidet
It was very important that I was able to find one with heated water without needing to attach it to the sink and this one works great! This seat is very similar to the ones I saw in Japan. The only negative part is having to run a wire or have an outlet built in for the toilet. Otherwise, I love it!

Easy Installation
DIY installation, works perfectly. The warm seat & warm water are most welcome specially during the cold, winter nights. Lots of options, & easy to customize to your preference.

Spend the extra money and buy a Brondell Swash 1000 instead.

The toilet in the new house has an oval shape, so I decided to buy the DR 802 since the old bidet was made for a round toilet. I had a Swash 1000 which I used for years and then we moved to a new house. The toilet in the new house has an oval shape, so I decided to buy the DR 802 since the old bidet was made for a round toilet. I purchased it mainly because of the blue night light feature, since it is very dark in the new bathroom, and my old standby doesn't come with a light. I was also intrigued with the option to save settings for two users. This review is admittedly biased, based upon my years of experience with the Swash 1000. Now on to the review. The DR802 is a disappointment in so many ways. First, it is very sluggish to respond once the function buttons are pushed. It makes a bit of a “clunk” noise, hesitates, then finally responds, whether it be “wash,” “dry,” etc. It feels as if way too much time elapses as I'm sitting there waiting for the bidet to just “get on with it.” Second, the “light touch” remote buttons are easy to accidentally push. Countless times, I have sat down to a cold seat, because either my wife or I have previously unknowingly pushed the “eco” button. This is quite frustrating. Third, it turns out that the custom settings option is very limited. I like the nozzle to oscillate, but that isn't something which can be programmed into the custom settings. Also, if your menopausal wife doesn't want the heated seat function (understandably) but you do, pushing the custom setting button as you are getting ready to sit down will still result in a cold seat, because it takes some time for the bidet to respond. The point is that the custom settings aren't as convenient as one is led to believe. In conclusion, after using the DR 802 for over a month, I am sorry that I purchased it. I truly wish that I had spent the extra money and purchased another Swash 1000. The responses are instantaneous, and it is far superior in nearly every way, compared to the DR 802.

I have only used the device a few times, but it's functions are all pretty similar to my last bidet seat in a similar price range. I will say that it is quite loud in comparison to my last bidet seat, a Kohler Novita. To make matters worse, the only functionality that it's missing in comparison is a button to turn the fan off! I'll update my review if it turns out to redeem itself.

Can't use it
I bought this for my boyfriend as an upgrade to an old one that quit working. I connected the seat to the toilet, he sat on it to test it out (not even to use the toilet) and his *junk* was touching the inside of the rim! He jumped off and said, "I can't use that!" and I've quickly removed it. We're terribly disappointed. the toilet seat is too narrow on the front and the tank on the back pushes it forward slightly making it a terrible fit. It's unsanitary to have your netherregions touching the inside of the toilet!

[Incentivized Review] missing seat
I have spoken with two representatives about never having received my second bidet, EM617. I did receve DR801. I am still waiting to hear about a replacement having been sent.

Stopped working after 2 years
the soft-close seat dropped working. the top seat literally broke at the hinge and now also slams shut just like the seat. the water pump is very loud. I had a Kohler Novita before this and will purchase one of those again. not this brand.
