Brondell Swash SE400 Bidet Toilet Seat Owners Reviews

I have put in a fair number of bidets (we have them in all our bathrooms, and now friends' bathrooms) - going back to the early Washlets (they were essential during Covid). This SE400 was by far the EASIEST to install (took 5 minutes if that) and the features are unbeatable at this price range. We've got 3 other Swash's (soon to add a 4th when we upgrade our guest bath) and I guess you could say I'm a dedicated Brondell customer!! 

I purchased this seat for my father who has recently lost his wife of 64 years. Living on his on with health issues is always a concern. By installing this bidet it allows him to stay fresh and less fear of him needing to get a shower without a nurse or psw close by. It is wonderful, easy hook up and easy to use item and I highly recommend it to anyone. My husband and I are considering the same product now, thank you 

Amazing product! I’ve had it since 2020 and only installed it now in 2024! I didn’t realize that if you have a proper grounded extension cord, you could plug it into that, so it sat there. I am over the moon that it is now installed and the features are so cool and everything a lot cleaner. The price was great when I bought it and even lower now, but is still very worth it! Easy to install by instruction, and not scary at all. 

One of the best investments we have ever made. Makes going to the washroom so much better. Saves on toilet paper too. If you are having gastro issues that lead to increased trips to the washroom this is a life saver. I have the brondell to go bottle now because of this for when I'm away from home. I cant imagine going to the washroom without my swash now and I will never not have one of these bad boys in my house. Easy to use. Easy to install. Worth every penny 

This became a necessity for my husband as he has very limited mobility. It has helped him regain some dignity and independence. Well worth the money and extremely simple to install as long as you FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS STEP BY STEP ! Need to practice a little with controls, but pretty straight forward and easy to operate. We keep it set on eco... and the lid down when not in use. Extremely happy. 

Well worth the cost above Tushy and similar bidets considering the many functions and ability to tune them. Heated seat, warm water storage, fan, retracting sprayer... Just need to make sure you have a socket nearby to plug it into for installation. Nice not to have to run a water line off the sink at all. Even has a UV light! Only small wish might be that the UV light came on automatically when the seat detects weight. (As it does that anyway) 

This is a solid unit, punching WAY above its weight class on quality and features. It does everything it needs to and just a bit more more, and the value to price ratio is high. Install is easy, like putting on a new toilet seat. Controls are simple and intuitive to use as well, which was a concern for some in my household who had experience with other brands. Auto mode works quite well, and this unit has Eco mode which is a nice feature. 

We thought that saving toilet paper and our septic system was a good thing. A year and a half ago we purchased our first Swash SE 400. We love it so we ordered up another for our remaining bathroom. It was easy to install and the only prep was to install a ground fault outlet. After our purchase many of our friends inspected the new contraption and ordered one for themselves. Would highly recommend the SE400. 

I am never going back to toilet paper. The Swash provides a wonderful experience every time. Installation was stress-free, and the blue nightlife is a plus. If you are a big person, I do recommend getting a model with a detached remote instead of this model, as the SE400's remote is attached to the side and can be covered up by large thighs. It's not a problem for me, but it is for others in the household. 

Bought this a month and a half ago. Installation was simple and it looks very nice. It worked for 3 weeks. However, it will keep tripping the GFCI breaker every time one of the heaters is turned on and sometimes when no heaters are turned on. I am in process of trying to exchange it because I suspect it is just a faulty unit. But as of right now, I’m not impressed.
