We bought this unit two years ago ( 2022 ). My wife wanted it for after child birth. I have Crohn's disease and didn't realize how much I would come to depend on this. We bought this unit two years ago ( 2022 ). My wife wanted it for after child birth. I have Crohn's disease and didn't realize how much I would come to depend on this. Every feature works as you would expect it to and want it to. Heated seat, amazing. Heated water, amazing. Both functions, front and rear, work great. The night light is a blue and in the middle of the night, blue light is hard on the eyes but i could see how using a warm color would be problematic. Here we are, two years later ( 2024 ). One day the pressure is gone. We can barely feel it on max pressure. The following day, the water stops coming out of the tube it's supposed to and is instead pouring out of the housing. I went ahead and read all the one star reviews. Though this doesn't seem to be a common issue, the common complaint is that there's no support. I've called and emailed the manufacturer. They appear to want to help. But my wife and I already decided to purchase another brand. If we can fix this one, the second bathroom gets an upgrade. I'll try to remember to update this. EDIT: As suspected, this company is only interested in taking more money. We went with the slightly more expensive TOTO. It's a weird day and age when there are SO MANY consumers, companies don't care about customer loyalty. It's sad really. Good luck to whomever reads this. Read Less

Bought the SE400 in early December 2020. Installed it no problem all connections secured. Around January 6 2021 the back wash mode started to act up, namely after initial clean it wouldn't begin the wash cycle. I checked all connections and water pressure no issues. The front wash works fine. My disappointment pertains to customer service or lack thereof. Initially I had contacted Brondell prior to purchasing to ask what the difference was between the plastic T valve connector on the SE400 and the brass T valve on other models. I never received a response. After having problems with the Back wash mode I contacted Brondell first by phone and never talked to anyone. I then sent a e-mail but still have not received a response. The product isn't working after only a month of use and my efforts to get assistance has been useless.  Read Less
