I've wanted a bidet toilet seat for years, but the recent TP shortage tipped us over the edge. Hubby says installation was easy. It came with several fitting options for water connections, and we had an electrical outlet nearby. His only minor gripe was Installation instructions came after Use instructions in a single manual. I'm OK with that, since this is my first EVER bidet seat I greatly appreciated & thoroughly read the detailed Use instructions.

Key features for me were preheated water, self-cleaning, nice looking, and a reasonable price. I find the remote control reasonably intuitive and think this seat has plenty of bells & whistles without going crazy. Mainly, I am truly surprised at how much cleaner I am than with toilet paper. For a woman, this is more like the clean after your shower - Yay! Being cleaned with water takes a little getting used to, but I don't see myself ever returning to TP only. The wash cycle is 1 min and the dry cycle is 2 mins. The dry cycle feels a bit long. I use a little TP to pre-dry before the dry cycle, and sometimes skip it entirely - your choice. I’d guess I use about 70% less TP than before.
We have town water and have had no problem with the bidet water pressure. I use the medium pressure setting on the remote - it feels and washes fine. Hubby mentioned the Coway site warned if you had low water pressure this would cause problems with your bidet. I’ve used this for about a week now and truly love it. At first I thought I might use the Coway bidet as a short-term measure - until the price of the high-end bidet I had my eye on came down. Now I intend to stick with it long-term, it’s that good.
A quick mention about registering the product online - for a 1 year extended limited warranty. Take a photo of the serial number on the back of the toilet seat, it’s hard to see once installed. I got several ‘invalid serial number’ form rejections. Turns out the serial number is printed on two lines, you have to combine them. The format that worked for us was: 12345 1234567 R1 (sample only)

Life changing!

Well, not really life-changing, but definitely life enhancing. Bought this during the Great COVID-19 Toilet Paper Shortage. Never had a bidet before so this took a little while to get used to, but now that I've figured it out, this thing is great. We've reduced our household TP usage by about 80% and always feeling nice, fresh, and un-irritated! The only reason I give it 3 starts for "easy to install" is that you need a power outlet near your toilet so we had to have an electrician come in and wire one up. Lots of adjustments on this thing from water pressure to water temperature to drying fan speed/temperature. It even has a heated seat for those cold days. Treat your sensitive heinie right and get one of these!

There are "pros" to this bidet, including the seat warmer, comfort level, heated spray, and night light. But there are significant "cons" as well.
For one, the dryer function does not aim properly. I contacted Coway support on how to adjust and was told by two technicians on two separate occasions that the dryer function does not work well, there is no waty to adjust the direction, and there is no fix(!)

Also, about a year after purchase, we noticed that the unit was sliding on top of the toilet seat and discovered that the plastic bolts were stripped. I contacted Support again and was told to submit a request by email, which included the usual: name, phone number, serial # of product, problem etc. BUT I was also required to make a video, with sound, no less, showing the problem. Also, I had to VIDEO the serial number and product which, for the life of me, made no sense since that info was already provided. I also had to screenshot the "receipt" from Amazon.
I few days later, I received an email from Coway stating that the "Management Team" would review my request and get back to me in a few days. About 10 days later, I received an email stating that "Management" had reviewed my request and that new bolts and nuts would solve the issue (ya think?) and how would I like to proceed.
Actually, we had already replaced the plastic bolts with metal ones after not hearing from Coway for the first 3 days and knowing they would probably send us more plastic bolts, which would strip again anyway. The whole process for getting some plastic bolts was a colossal waste of time, and kind of ridiculous, TBH.
Coway is a major brand for various items and the Bidetmega 400 is OK, but I really don't recommend spending $400 for a bidet where the dryer function doesn't work, at the admission of their technicians, and where a management team has to decide whether or not to send you some plastic bolts. If you want a bidet, go check out Tushy or Toto, or any other brand.
