Good water pressure, very small seat opening, poor mounting hardware

I got this bidet seat because I've been dealing with a Tushy for about 5 years now. I got this bidet seat because I've been dealing with a Tushy for about 5 years now. The water stream on the Tushy about shot me off the seat every time - even with their additional cost pressure reducer. Plus this was about half the price. Installation of the mounting plate was a complete pain. The screws are too short to get the plate fastened properly. The only way I could get any tightness was to force the nut adapter to split the plastic stop. This forced the 3 "arms" to spread out. According the the installation manual, this is not supposed to happen. It works for now, but is not as tight as it should be. Then I sat on the seat. Now I'm not big-bottomed by any means, but this seat opening seems extremely small. Maybe I'm just used to a wider and longer opening, but this is going to take some getting used to. Could be they're taking into account the sprawling size of some modern humans. Now on to the pros. I really like the quick release mounting. This will make cleaning underneath much easier. The Tushy had to be completely unscrewed from the bowl for proper cleaning. Other aspects of installation were pretty typical - just a few standard connections. The T-connector for water inlet is solid stainless and much more robust than the Tushy. And the best pro of all - the water pressure. It took a bit to get into the right position, especially given the small seat. But once I found it, it functioned as well as, and more comfortably than, the Tushy.

This bidet seat is life changing. It’s easy to install and has many options to customize the water pressure and position. It allows for a thorough clean.

Awesome quality product. Installation seems to be pretty straightforward and simple. Water pressure is more than enough, cleans very well to say the least. Highly recommended.

Easy setup, solid engineering

We wanted a heated water Toto washlet, but unfortunately getting an outlet in the bathroom meant getting a city permit, HOA approval, electrician, and city inspection lol. And extension cords are meant to be temporary. Oh well, a dream for another house. So after days of research, we decided on a cold water model, and went with this Delta unit. This thing is packaged like a luxury product. Everything is neatly encased in foam wrap and plenty of molded filler to keep it safe in transit from drops and dings. The plastic bags for the components is also thick and sealed, so that gave me confidence that everything was brand new from the factory. I’ve had products like clothing and hygiene products bought on Amazon that were clearly used. Gross. So off to a good start. Installation was super easy and 20 minutes. Just needed a flathead screwdriver to unscrew old seat, and a Phillips screwdriver to put the new one in. Plus a little cup to hold a few drips of water when connecting the water supply. The baseplate is really well done, it adjusts side to side and also front to back, to get the right fit of the lid to the toilet. At first, my install fell short, where the lid was not aligned to the bowl, but it’s super easy to detach the seat from the base plate with a quick release button. I pulled the base plate all the way forward and the fit was aligned. It might be good for Delta to put a “this side up” and arrows pointing to the tank on the baseplate, but figuring it out only added a couple of minutes, based on the easy to follow instructions. Also it’s common sense to flush the toilet and turn off the water supply before starting, which I did, but we all have our moments where we might forget and hurry through. So that could be something else to add. I liked the looks of the polished metal fittings on the hose, and all the connectors were easy to attach and screw in by hand. There’s a disposable plastic cap to keep the gaskets in the fittings, as well as a note in the instructions to doublecheck the rubber gaskets are in the connectors before screwing in. This prevents leaks and I appreciated the attention to detail on this important step. Overall I can tell there is a lot of thought by the engineers that has gone into this unit. Usage is solid. Water pressure is good in both back and front modes. The dial is easy to use and has a nice audible and tactile click when you return it to the off position. You get the same cleanliness as any washlet. The room temperature water is actually refreshing, so not that big of a deal to not have. Maybe those with ice cold water, it might be a much bigger deal in the winter. Overall, a huge upgrade from using regular toilet paper. The level of clean you get with a washlet is beyond anything you can get with paper, even using wet wipes. Someday we’ll live the dream of having the heated dryer, air freshener, and heated seat, but for now this Delta unit is a solid choice with zero complaints.

It's nice. Came packaged really well. The design is pretty, and the water pressure is powerful. It cleans well as well. But the main issue with this Bidet, is the installation. Makes it not worth it imo. You have to essentially modify the bolts they give you to install it with cause no matter how much you screw it in, it's always loose. What a pain. If this wasn't free, I would have returned it. But as it was free, I just struggled until I figured something out. But everything else about it is fantastic.

Lackluster performance

I was excited (if one can truly be excited about a toilet seat) when I first discovered this product as I was looking to get something to replace my old Tushy bidet attachment and old seat. Getting something that combined the two certainly seemed like a great idea and would clean things up (in more ways than one). I was excited (if one can truly be excited about a toilet seat) when I first discovered this product as I was looking to get something to replace my old Tushy bidet attachment and old seat. Getting something that combined the two certainly seemed like a great idea and would clean things up (in more ways than one). I loved my Tushy as it was my first foray into the wonderful world of bidets but sadly it started leaking. I never knew my chocolate starfish could feel so clean after pinching a loaf. Anyhoo, the install was easy and really the mounting method made it a snap. I got it installed and lined up fairly quickly but the seat doesn't want to stay up with my particular tank (Strike 1!). I did everything possible to remedy that but it just doesn't fit well with my setup. Whatever, I was able to adjust the tank so it somewhat works but I wasn't 100% happy but I convinced myself I could live with that if it delivers otherwise. Now, when it came time to take the Browns to the Super Bowl, I looked forward for my first drive. The shape of the seat is comfortable enough but it basically turns your elongated toilet into a shorter standard opening, which if you are a dude, can be annoying but the seat also seems flimsy and creaks which are not good traits for your throne seat (Strike 2!). Now for the true test....the bidet. Well, it is lame. I can only compare it to my old Tushy, which was excellent. The bidet sprayer here does not perform. It wasn't able to get the poo off which is the whole point. The water pressure just isn't up to the task as it was with my previous setup (Strike 3!). I'll be going a different way as soon as possible as this was a letdown. Spend your money elsewhere.
