My husband installed it in less than an hour - it does need to be near an outlet and it also comes with a remote control When you sit down it kind of automatically turns on and has a little running water feature to give you encouragement to pee (: The seat is always warmer than our other toilet seats and it does have a seat warmer as well I've found that while the spraying water can be heated, it's generally not that cold It has settings for both a front and back sprayer with adjustments for placement and pressure I have found that the front sprayer is really great, but it's suuuuuper easy for it to overshoot a little and go out of the toilet The back sprayer is literal perfection and cleans you up basically 100% It also has a dryer function for after you're done spraying clean I have found that we use significantly less toilet paper while using the bidet and it's basically only to pat dry. I don't know how we've gone so long without having this luxury on our toilet!!  Read Less
