I have been using a number of different bidets for many years. After some research I decided to buy this bidet for my new bathroom. The description of this Canadian design bidet and function it offered is appealing to me. At the beginning I was a little reluctant but I decided to give it a try. To my surprise this is a very well designed bidet with a modern look and feel and performs excellent . And you can get it at half the price for other more established brands such as TOTO C2 for the similar level of comfort and function. The built quality is quite good and feels very comfortable. The glossy finish gives an attractive and clean look to my bathroom. The oval shape that I ordered fits perfectly to my existing toilet with little adjustment to the seating position. My preference is always a side control panel over remote control as it can be misplaced easily and not be found when you have a bathroom emergency. The on demand warm water with tank less design is a great advantage over my bidet TOTO C2 which depends on the small water tank and runs out of the warm water just after a minute or so . With this EKO Jetwave you never run out of warm water although the temperature of the water goes down a little bit after using it for some time. Another thoughtful design is the wash time, dry time etc cycle. The different cycle is timed and atomically stops to save energy and utility bill. I am completely satisfied with the auto timed cycle for washing ,however I usually have to extend the drying time to fully get dry. The bidet has a power saving function and different levels of temperature setting . The jet position can be adjusted and set into oscillating mode for better wash. The pressure is just enough at the highest level and I always experienced nice cleaning. Sometimes however you have to adjust your sitting position a little bit to the side to get sprayed at desired spots. This is true with all the other brands I tried. Another great feature is the touch sensor on the seat. It senses by the touch and if you accidentally stand up or forget to press stop, the bidet automatically stops and there is never a problem of splashing water in your bathroom . This is a good feature if you have little children in the house. The touch side panel is very responsive and user friendly . One can easily figure out the functions without looking into the operation manual. The Good: · Well designed · Enough water pressure · Cleans well · Comfortable with considerable luxuries feature for the price · Easy to use · Well priced · Good warranty · You can buy 2 of this unit for the price of TOTO C2 with almost same features however this unit is more user friendly and better aesthetic than TOTO C2 · Perfect fit, DYI The Bad: · The attachment frame can be made more sturdy to prevent any movement . I end up cracking the plastic attachment while trying to screw too tight. Be careful not to tighten it too much. · The dyer air pressure takes longer than the timed cycle and has to set temperature at a lower setting because if you set the heat to the highest level it starts to burn your bottom close to the air vent. Bottom line: This is one of the great bidets which offers the same or in some aspects better luxury at half the price compared to other reputed bidets like TOTO. You cannot go wrong with this bidet.
