So, I've had the bidet installed for a few days now and I've used it a lot. I gotta say, I don't know how I've been going number two without one of these available to clean things up afterwards in the past. Lets start from the beginning. Installation was a breeze. The Butt Buddy came with all the parts and instructions right out of the box. I highly recommend reading the instructions carefully and thoroughly while installing this beautiful device on your toilet, because if you make a small mistake you are dealing with water and the potential of it getting everywhere. But, as long as you follow the steps provided in the user guide it comes with or even the installation video they have here on Amazon or on YouTube then you should be A-OK and on your way. I almost made a mistake by not making sure everything was tightly fastened before turning water supply back on which could have sprayed some water around. Good thing I watched the video and followed the instructions though. Once installed it is very simple to operate. You turn the knob on the Butt Buddy Bidet controller to the right and it sprays your bum and if you turn the knob left it washes its nozzle. The further you turn the knob in either direction the higher the water pressure gets. You turn the knob back to the middle to turn it off. That’s it! You have officially graduated the Butt Buddy Bidet Academy with flying colors! The cool thing about this other than the squeaky clean feeling you get after a good poop is the fact that you do not need to use as much toilet paper anymore. Just need a bit to pad down your butt to dry it off and you're all set. I am super happy with my Butt Buddy and will be raving about it to others. You should get yours and see what I mean first hand. Couldn’t be happier with my decision to buy the Butt Buddy Suite bidet - it's hard to go back and use the toilet without it now! In the morning or in the middle of the night when it's cold, it’s very nice to sit on a warm toilet seat. When you turn on the water, it's not instantaneous - takes a few seconds to prep by clearing the nozzle spray and heat the water before it begins to spray, but totally worth the wait. Couldn’t be happier with my decision to buy the Butt Buddy Suite bidet - it's hard to go back and use the toilet without it now! In the morning or in the middle of the night when it's cold, it’s very nice to sit on a warm toilet seat. When you turn on the water, it's not instantaneous - takes a few seconds to prep by clearing the nozzle spray and heat the water before it begins to spray, but totally worth the wait. After you finish washing it also has warm air dryer that will dry your hiney! The seat, water spray and air dryer all have the option of being heated but can also be turned off and remain cool if you want. I love that it also has a toilet bowl light that really comes in handy in the middle of the night when I need to go to the bathroom as it allows me to see without having to turn on the bathroom light and blinding myself. We have a regular Butt Buddy bidet attached to our toilet in another bathroom that only sprays out cold water, and we had been doing that for a few years - didn’t mind the cold water spray at all by the way. However, now that we know what warm water feels like on the backside after doing the do, it's impossible to go back. A grounded power outlet is needed near the toilet though (we had an electrician / handyman come by and add it which was cheap quick and easy). I highly recommend the Butt Buddy Suite to everyone. The seat was incredibly easy to install, I replaced the old one in about 30 minutes. All of the required hardware is included, all you need is a screwdriver and (maybe) an adjustable wrench (don’t overtighten). It is important to note that you do need to have an electrical outlet nearby. I installed a new one a few weeks ago knowing that I was getting this. The seat was incredibly easy to install, I replaced the old one in about 30 minutes. All of the required hardware is included, all you need is a screwdriver and (maybe) an adjustable wrench (don’t overtighten). It is important to note that you do need to have an electrical outlet nearby. I installed a new one a few weeks ago knowing that I was getting this. The seat itself is comfortable, but you do lose some sitting room and the opening is smaller compared to the regular toilet seat it replaced, because the back part of the seat that houses the electronics and such take up some of the space. It is also simple to use, there are two buttons on left that toggle through low, medium and off settings for the heated seat temperature and water temperature. The dial on the right controls the water flow and ‘aim’ (forwards for front, back for rear and center for ‘off’). The flow isn’t overpowering, but enough to get you clean, and the water warms almost instantly. The sprayer itself is contained when not it use and has a self cleaning system, while the exterior doesn’t appear to be any more difficult to clean than any other seat. It also has a light that automatically illuminates for nighttime visits. My only complaint would be that the cord could be a little longer. I was able to reach mine on the opposite side, but an extra foot or two would’ve been nice so I could tuck it away better. In summary, it may seem a little expensive at first, but when you consider what you pay for a night or two at a fancy hotel compared to something like this that will last you for years of use, I think it is totally worth it. It will also save you money on toilet paper (although you’ll still need some to dry off) and have less impact on your pipes and the environment. It will get you cleaner and the seat heater and warm water are an added comfort. Go ahead and get one…your posterior will thank you later.  Read Less

Since my wife often uses flushable wipes, I got this in hopes of eliminating (or at least significantly decreasing) such usage since they can cause plumbing issues (i.e. clogs!). This was super easy to install...took less than 20 minutes. I installed this in our master bathroom and we have used it for about a month now. Since my wife often uses flushable wipes, I got this in hopes of eliminating (or at least significantly decreasing) such usage since they can cause plumbing issues (i.e. clogs!). This was super easy to install...took less than 20 minutes. It comes with a cord that when plugged in heats the seat and the water, but you can also use it without plugging it in which is what we've been doing since we don't necessarily care about a heated seat and/or water. It has two directions of spray (a slightly forward direction and a rear [no pun intended!] direction). You simply use the dial/switch on the side to turn on the spray (move it forward for the front area and move it backward for the rear). It also has two flow settings (min, max) for each direction...so you can choose to spray a little or a lot depending on the situation. We absolutely LOVE this product!!! I wasn't sure how much I would actually use it when I got it but I think I use it more than my wife at this point! Lol It's just so easy and convenient to use. It's also self cleaning btw so now worries there, and the lids are self closing so no more accidentally "dropping" the toilet seat! I would definitely encourage people to check this product out. It's high quality and works flawlessly...and it will definitely eliminate or at least save on the use of flushable wipes!!! :) Totally worth it. A 'wish' would have been for a seat with a dryer since wiping after washing is a bit damp from just a drip dry. This might be something to consider highlighting so there is no confusion in which model to purchase. I simply love my new Butt Buddy Suite smart bidet seat. This is my second bidet from the Butt Buddy brand, but this is my first full smart electric bidet. The first Butt Buddy bidet I purchased is great but more basic. The Suite model is a full toilet seat with lid that comes with a bunch of other cool amazing features. The knob and buttons for the water pressure, air dryer and temperature controls are very discreet and small. I don’t need to worry about them being in the way to potentially be hit or damaged. I love the that you have the ability to warm your toilet seat, water and air dryer. The warming feature comes in real handy during the colder winters times. There is the ability to change the water pressure from low to high as well as massaging if you'd like which is nice. It also comes with an LED toilet light that can help you locate your toilet in the dark which is neat. No more blinding full bathroom lights in the middle of the night! The Butt Buddy Suite bidet works great with no issues when not plugged into a power outlet, but the warming temperature controls and LED light features require it to be plugged into a grounded power outlet to work. One thing I didn’t know at first that I found out after using it a few times (and after reading the user manual) is that when you first turn on the spray to begin cleaning yourself you need to let the water run for a few seconds so it can filter the water as well as clean the nozzle before it will actually start spraying. You also need to be seated or else it will not spray which is a cool feature. We need to change the narrative about bidets, because everyone should experience a clean hiney after using the toilet. Especially us Americans. We're a bit late to the game, but its never too late! Every home and business should have a bidet installed in my opinion. Read Less

It was great for cleaning the toilet, but awkward as a bidet, and the sprayer was not self cleaning. The second was was like this, but not heated. This is my third 'bidet'. My first one was basically a kitchen sink hand sprayer connected to the toilet. It was great for cleaning the toilet, but awkward as a bidet, and the sprayer was not self cleaning. The second was was like this, but not heated. It worked great, but I have well water, and at 45F, it was a brisk experience (especially in Winter, when the pipes made it colder). This one is by far the best. Easy to install. Looks great, with a low profile (Height 3.75"); not bulky like some (Height 6.875") or drawing attention to itself with a Captain Kirk control pad. It has a nice sanitary feature. There are Sensors in the seat; when you sit down, it turns On water to self clean the nozzles. It also has innovative mounting plug that acts as a water seal. It is a tight fit, but with a little proding I got it in (see pics). I had no electrical outlet near the toilet. I had to install an outlet for it to plug in. It is rated at 1000W; which provides it with instant unlimited warm water. Other American Standard's are around 300W; which provides limited warm water (and I assume use power all day long to maintain that reservoir?). I choose to tap into my living room's circuit (adjoining wall). My bathroom was on a single 20A breaker. I have a 1500W space heater, that I turn On when showering. I did not want to overburden the circuit. Now that it is installed, I probably could have added it to my bathroom circuit. It only uses 1000W when the sprayer is active. With only the seat heater On, it cycles ever minute between 1W and 49W. If the Seat heater is turned Off, it uses less than 1W (for the LED Night Light [see pics]). Its natural state is seat heated and water heated On Low. To save power and maximize benefit, I have mine connected to a smart outlet. In Winter, I will leave both On. In Spring and Fall, I will ask Alexa to, "Turn On Bidet", before I plan to use it (seat warms up in about 1 minute). In Summer, I will turn Off the seat heater and leave On the warm Water. Some bidet's have a dryer, but I do not have the patience to sit around to be air dried; I just use toilet paper. FWIW ... when I first turned On the water supply, it leaked from underneath. I thought I did not tighten the hose tight enough, or it was defective, but the leak stopped once the air was out of it.  Read Less
