Well worth the money! We are saving so much on TP since we bought this. Well worth the money! We are saving so much on TP since we bought this. It’s a higher-end bidet with a higher-end price, but has the features you’d expect in a bidet of this class (we call it our “Tush Mahal” since it feels very fancy). Fits our Kohler San Souchi toilet perfectly and looks great, love that the design is minimalist and very low-profile. Installation was simple and took 15 minutes. The heated seat and the instant hot water are amazing. The bidet cleans really well with absolutely nothing left behind. The dryer, while nice and warm, has weak airflow so it’s much faster to use a couple squares of toilet paper to dry off. The remote is responsive and easy to use. I just wish Kohler would provide a way to turn off the nightlight, we leave our toilet seat down but if you like to leave yours up at night your bathroom will be bright. Kohler should also provide an option to purchase this bidet without the side controls, as it’s redundant given it has a remote and would give it an even more streamlined look. Overall, this is an amazing bidet and we are now officially bidet converts, we couldn’t be without it! Read Less

Aside of some confusing things in the installation instructions the unit has so far worked perfectly. I would only advise Kohler to improve the instructions, and also improve the ease with which the unit slides onto the mounting bracket after being attached to the toilet. I personally don't have the criticisms that other people here have. My wife and I are perfectly able to see the panel on the side when we sit down to do our business. But we're both in good shape. We tend to not use the remote that much, but we think the remote is well built. The fan noise does not bother us that much either, it is not as loud as some people say it is. But our toilet does not face our bed. The light at night works like a nightlight. If you leave the toilet seat open it can bother you if your toilet is too close to your bed, but ours is in a separate room. I feel the controls are very nice quality, easy to understand and visible on both the remote and the side panel. Again, all working after 5 years. I really think it is a good product. About toilet fit: toilets come in many sizes (two main sizes, but there is a lot of variation within those two). So my advice is measure and pay attention to the size of the seat you're buying. The Kohler C3 230 Bidet Toilet Seat is pretty amazing. It's also pretty easy to install but for me required a bit more work. This seat is made for elongated toilets and the one I had was round. The Kohler C3 230 Bidet Toilet Seat is pretty amazing. It's also pretty easy to install but for me required a bit more work. This seat is made for elongated toilets and the one I had was round. I replaced my toilet with a new Kohler elongated toilet and also installed an electrical outlet next to the toilet. Luckily I have a GFCI protected outlet on the opposite wall (next to the sink) which I tapped into to run the new outlet. Connecting the water line, mounting the seat, and mounting the remote took me 20 minutes at best. This seat doesn't just clean front and rear, there are tons of options you can select. There are six heat levels for the seat, the water, and the dryer. There are also six levels of water pressure and the extension of the wand. There is an oscillate and pulsate setting you can set if you like. Moments after you sit down the deodorizer kicks on along with the display on the remote control. The deodorizer works so well we hardly have a need to turn on our bathroom ventilation fan anymore. There are also two user preset buttons which allow you to enjoy all the settings you like with just the press of a button. I almost forgot about the night light. It's pretty cool but also useful for those late night trips to the bathroom where you don't want to disturb anyone by turning on bright lights. I can't really think of any cons but there are a couple of this to be aware of. First because of all the hardware this seat houses, the actual opening is a little smaller than regular toilet seats. Second, if you want to be totally dry, you are going need to sit with the dry on for a short while. We were apprehensive at first but my wife and I have used the Kohler C3 230 for about two weeks now and love it. Bidets are slowly catching on in the U.S. but have been common in other developed countries for decades. This bidet seat is another top of the line product from Kohler which I highly recommend.  Read Less
