Once you install this (easy) you will be very happy that you bought it. Heated water is important, this one is always warm, it has a variety of modes that are great and a compact remote control you mount to the wall that gets charged by its wall mount from bigger batteries so lasts a long time. Really well designed.

Works Great

I purchased this 6 months ago. It works great. The seat is heated, the water temperature is adjustable as is the intensity of the jets. The handheld remote control is very useful and I never have to use the controls on the seat itself. The remote allows preset settings for two people and so you can get the adjustments you want with the touch of one button (pulsate, water temp, wand adjustment, etc).

This bidet seat from Kohler is loaded with great features. The heated seat is amazing and the warm water bidet spray takes it to the next level. The handheld touchscreen remote is easy to use and adjust the water temperature, pressure and spray type all of which save the last settings for easy use next time. I would recommend to my family and friends and Kohler did a great job making it easy to install providing everything I needed in the box.

Love this seat. The water warms quickly, the multiple spray settings make it so you can personalize the wash quite well.

The Kohler C3 230 Bidet Toilet Seat is pretty amazing. It's also pretty easy to install but for me required a bit more work. This seat is made for elongated toilets and the one I had was round. I replaced my toilet with a new Kohler elongated toilet and also installed an electrical outlet next to the toilet. Luckily I have a GFCI protected outlet on the opposite wall (next to the sink) which I tapped into to run the new outlet. Connecting the water line, mounting the seat, and mounting the remot...

I replaced my toilet with a new Kohler elongated toilet and also installed an electrical outlet next to the toilet. Luckily I have a GFCI protected outlet on the opposite wall (next to the sink) which I tapped into to run the new outlet. Connecting the water line, mounting the seat, and mounting the remote took me 20 minutes at best.
This seat doesn't just clean front and rear, there are tons of options you can select. There are six heat levels for the seat, the water, and the dryer. There are also six levels of water pressure and the extension of the wand. There is an oscillate and pulsate setting you can set if you like. Moments after you sit down the deodorizer kicks on along with the display on the remote control. The deodorizer works so well we hardly have a need to turn on our bathroom ventilation fan anymore. There are also two user preset buttons which allow you to enjoy all the settings you like with just the press of a button. I almost forgot about the night light. It's pretty cool but also useful for those late night trips to the bathroom where you don't want to disturb anyone by turning on bright lights. I can't really think of any cons but there are a couple of this to be aware of. First because of all the hardware this seat houses, the actual opening is a little smaller than regular toilet seats. Second, if you want to be totally dry, you are going need to sit with the dry on for a short while.
We were apprehensive at first but my wife and I have used the Kohler C3 230 for about two weeks now and love it. Bidets are slowly catching on in the U.S. but have been common in other developed countries for decades. This bidet seat is another top of the line product from Kohler which I highly recommend.

The toilet seat was very easy to install. It took only about 10 minutes at the most. After installing, you cover the seat in plastic wrap and press down on it to test it (you don't want water shooting into your face).
Functions: It has a deodorizer fan that comes on when you sit down. You can adjust water temperature, pressure, pulse, and oscillation. You can also adjust air temperature and speed for the fan. It has an automatic led nightlight.
Pros: Works great and cleans well. Helps prevent irritation from over-wiping. Fun conversation piece.
Cons: It takes a while for the dryer to dry you. Front and back nozzle adjustment is not quite different. Also, due to the price, it's not for everyone.

A great, easy to install bidet seat for your toilet!

I thought I might be a bit insane for spending this much on a toilet seat, but it has been totally worth it. There are much cheaper models out there, but I already had a Kohler Highline Classic toilet (in white) that I really like, so I figured another Kohler product on top of that would be a good decision. The reviews were good, the price was high (but no where near the MSRP thankfully), but it worked out.

Installation was pretty simple as far as attachment to the toilet. Their recommended placement of the electrical outlet seems odd based on how long the power cord is. It would have been a lot more work to put my outlet on the left side, but thankfully I did not have to. The cord was more than long enough to reach under the bowl, over to the right side. I was able to extend power from a convenience outlet almost directly above. If it had been placed on the left, I don't know what I would have done with all the excess cord. I think my install looks very clean and professional.
The remote control looks very nice, but the wall mount mechanism seems very loose. The part attached to the wall is secure, but when you slide the dock down on it, there is too much play. There is nothing you can do about it really. I would have preferred through-holes and some caps to cover the screws. It does appear to come with a bracket for use on ceramic walls, but there is no mention of how to use it in the manual.
Speaking of the manuals, they are sufficient, but I think the user's guide could be a bit more explanatory on some of the functions, like how the deodorizer works.
The dryer function is an exercise for the patient. Don't expect it to have your bum ready for your underpants any time soon. So far the pulsate and oscillate functions have not "missed" anything, so I am down to just a couple of squares of TP to dry off. This should extend my existing stock of TP many times over.
It is nice to get off the toilet and feel clean. Really clean. That alone is worth the price of admission. All the parts look and feel of good quality, so I hope this lasts. There is a chart on the Kohler website that will tell you how they expect the fit and finish to look on their various models of toilets. Mine had only 2 dots (3 is perfect, 1 is not good), which means it will fit fine, but not really match the style of my Highline Classic. I think it looks fine.

[Incentivized Review] Not my first bidet, but my first Kohler bidet

Over the past few years, we had added a bidet seat to two of our bathrooms. This is our first Kohler made bidet seat, and boy is this an upgrade.
On our other bidets, it was not uncommon for the warm water to run out during use, leaving you, shall we say 'shocked'. The Kohler employs a tankless water heater, for a constant and non ending supply of perfectly warmed water. We have never had this run out of warm water, not for want of trying. This is very important when choosing a bidet seat. I can...

I cannot stress this enough.
The toilet has a 'night light' that illuminates the bowl in the dark, perfect for preventing children from 'missing' the bowl in the dark.
The seat has an occupancy sensor, basically it knows if your bum in on there, and prevent operation when unoccupied. This is important if you have a cat that likes to jump up on the seat, or children that enjoy pushing buttons. As you sit down, a odor removing fan starts automatically. Whilst not being crass, this works very well, and completely eliminated any obnoxious bathroom smells.
The seat itself is heated (perfect for cold winter nights), and it also soft closes, which means you are not going to wake someone up if you accidentally drop the seat closed in the middle of the night.
The touchscreen remote, whilst very futuristic looking, is simple to use. Two user programmable settings can be stored in the remote, and adjustments are as simple as tapping the icon on the screen. You can also use the controls on the side of the seat if you prefer. The remote is magnetically secured to its cradle, where it also receives a charge from the batteries in the cradle.
You can pick both oscillating or pulsating spray (or both together), water pressure, seat temperature, and air drying temperature.
Everything is provided for quick and simply installation to any elongated toilet. The plumbing is accomplished using an adaptor that taps in to the existing feed to your toilets water tank (no soldering, or plumbing skills required), and a power plug that needs a GFCI power outlet.
Who would have thought that going to the bathroom could be this much fun!

Disappointing

We've had our electric bidet now for 3 years and it is almost completely stopped working the fan no longer runs fast enough to put out any air, water nozzles sometimes spray sometimes they don't. Been through all of customer service suggestions and every reference I could find online but to know avail. Considering this toilet seat cost over $1,000 that's literally $300 plus a year cost of ownership just not worth it.
