Gotta Have It!

I love my NEO 320's so much, I have bought 3 of them! I couldn't imagine living in a house without at least one of them! They are well-designed, easy to install, priced fairly and they work well. I love being able to use warm water without having to have an available electric outlet. I cannot even think of an improvement to suggest. Great product!

Great Solution!

We have two of these with hot and cold mixable water. I ordered these prior to hand surgery to make toileting a bit easier. Eventually had both hands done so it got regular use. Now years later it still does. So simple to install, use and clean.

A Game Changer

When the idea of getting a Bidet was first presented to me, I was a bit unsure of whether or not I wanted to venture into territory like this. I have been doing the same thing for nearly 50 years and the thought of doing things differently now was kind of like the '3 seashells' running joke in the movie 'Demolition Man'. The overall cleanliness and health benefits seemed like a good thing and all of the positive reviews I had read finally pushed me to try something new. So about 5 years ago I...

So about 5 years ago I searched on Amazon and found an inexpensive 'starter' Bidet from Luxe. It was the basic model, nothing fancy, just enough to get the job done and would be a quick refund if I just couldn't bring myself to use it. The installation was very easy and for being the basic model it didn't look so bad either. After looking at it for a few days, not being able to bring myself to use it a few times, the time finally came to give it a try. Not being sure of the controls yet, I unfortunately gave myself a surprise, kind of like being on the top of an ice cold water fountain. However, once I started to use my Luxe and got used to the controls I started to wonder why I did not do this many years earlier. Prior to this I had only felt this clean and fresh after taking a shower and no matter how soft or quilted the toilet paper was it never came close to feeling like this. After a short while, if at any point I needed to be away from my Luxe and use toilet paper like 'regular people', it was like using sandpaper and not something I ever wanted to do again. Now fast forward 5 years, my old basic model finally stopped working. When I first installed it I remember thinking that it was completely plastic and only costing $39 (or something like that), so I was honestly not expecting it to last more than a year or two. Now seeing how long this basic model actually lasted and knowing the quality of Luxe products, when my old one stopped working I didn't hesitate to go right back to them and see what they had available. I was literally on Amazon searching for a new unit within 10 minutes of realizing there was nothing I could do to save my bathroom best friend. There were a few more units from other companies now on Amazon, but I was no longer willing to take this decision lightly and risk a lesser quality unit. I knew what Luxe could do and I was curious to see how they had progressed over the last 5 years. They had a similar basic model available, but this time around, knowing what I know now, I decided to step it up a bit and get the Neo 320 (Elite Series). I chose this model for a number of reasons, the hot and cold water make a huge difference since I can now adjust the temperature and not have to worry about the early morning 'wake up call' of the purely cold water system. One tip, just run the cleaning cycle for a few seconds before using it to clear the cold water out of the tubes and get a nice mixture of warm water. The second thing I liked about this unit is the metal-ceramic core valves since I am pretty sure my old unit's plastic valves were what failed since there was no visible damage. The third reason was simply because I liked the idea of it being the 'Elite' series. If you are a fan of the TV show Frasier and have seen the episode 'DoorJam' you will get a sense of what I mean. So, I now had my new Luxe Neo 320 ordered and dreaded the wait, even though I have prime shipping, 2 days is like an eternity and once you get used to something like this you cannot go back. I would do anything and everything in my power to get home if the need arose anytime throughout the day, so being in my home and unable to use it was torture. In the meantime I kept playing with the controls on my old unit hoping and praying for just one more time, just a splash...anything, unfortunately nothing. The idea of having to go back to what now seemed like a barbaric process upset me and scared me. I cancelled all of my plans for the next few days, unwilling to face the world. The unit finally arrived and I already had the tools ready. It took me approx 20 mins, maybe less, to remove the old unit and install the new unit. I swapped out everything with the new parts and did not leave anything from the old unit so there was no shortcut of time there, simply meaning, even if you are installing it for the first time it should be pretty simple to do.The instructions were very simple and straight forward. Once installed I admired how nice the new design looked and how solid everything felt. I took it for a test drive and was very pleased with the operation of the unit and the overall water pressure, which was much better than my previous unit. Being without my Luxe Bidet for the 2 days waiting for the new unit to arrive was not something I ever wanted to do again. My next big decision now was whether or not cancel my upcoming vacation since I cannot bring my Luxe along. The thought of being on a Caribbean cruise in the middle of the ocean that far from my Luxe Bidet has me waking up at night in a cold sweat... All joking aside, this is an extremely solid unit made by an outstanding company and I will have one installed in my home until the end of time. Also, the added benefit of only needing to use toilet paper to dry yourself off, you not only save on that expense, but now without the daily 'sandpaper' use, you can truly claim yours is as smooth as a baby's behind.

The Luxe Bidet Neo Toilet Seat Bidet 350 easy to install and easy to use. It is nice to have a kit that can includes everything that you need to get a job done. The Luxe Bidet Neo Toilet Seat Bidet 350 comes with two wrenches, hose for the water, holes for the actual tank to the toilet cold water valve, even has Teflon tape and connectors. The actual bidet has settings for hot and cold. And also has settings for women wash and nozzle cleaning. This is very awesome and easy to install. It was about an hour or less. We did use a small drill to cut a small hole though the bathroom vanity to get to the hot water connections of the bathroom sink. Other than that extra step - super easy and great instructions. We had to turn the water on a couple seconds for it to actually get the hot water through the tubes and mix with the cold for a nice warm water wash. The Luxe Bidet Neo Toilet Seat Bidet 350 is very handy. Always nice to be able to wash up and feel fresh after using the potty and not have to jump in the shower. Also very nice for the ladies time of the month to keep clean as well. The nozzle sprays at an angle different on the women setting than it does on the other settings. To help with staying clean. Having used the regular the bidet with just cold water, this is actually a treat. As the cold water can be a little bit startling at first with the other standard the day. The price is just right as well. Looking at Walmart I can see that this is a great deal and a nice addition to a home. Would even make a great house-warming gift possibly. We already have two of the Cold water ones and our other washrooms. Definitely worth the monies whether you choose the cold water standard model or the premium warm water Luxe Bidet Neo Toilet Seat Bidet 350 that installs to hot water as well as your tank cold water valve.

Highly recommend! First experienced a similar bidet attachment on the master bathroom toilet in the beach rental we stayed at this summer. Even though that was cold-water only, the clean and refreshing experience leaves you never ever wanting to go back to paper again. We are on well and septic, we have no water bill and it seems dumb to flush paper down into our septic tank year after year. Trust all the reviews you read once you step up to the bidet you'll never remember why it seemed odd - now it seems odd to do things the paper way! Anyhow, we have very cold winters so we opted for the warm-water mix model and it does complicate the installation but we got everything working without any trips to the hardware store - success! The overall appearance of the white model blends in very unobtrusively with our toilet and bathroom. The slim base of the bidet attachment worked with our existing slow-closing toilet seat without any need for leveling inserts or anything that didn't come included in the package. Truth be told, the install took me 5-6 hours but it's because I fed the hot-water line under the floor. Once completed we are totally satisfied and very happy with our choice of the Luxe 320! [The remainder of this review is detail about the installation, with the intent of being helpful.] The cold water line was very easy to attach, Luxe sends a metal T-joint and a durable plastic T-joint - I tested the metal one first and it wasn't compatible with the threading of the fill-valve sticking out of our toilet tank however the plastic t-joint was the right choice. The cold water line was very very easy to attach. Next the warm water - think carefully about where you will tap into a hot water supply before you order the warm-water bidet model! The hot-water line must connect to the hot water supply under your bathroom sink. Our toilet sits next to our double-sink vanity and the nearby sink is about 2 feet from the toilet. The white plastic hot-water supply line is about as non-offensive looking as possible, however, we decided that we did not want to see 2 feet of white plastic supply line running out of the side of our vanity across the floor behind the toilet. So, before we ordered the warm-mix model, we determined whether or not we could drill down into the floor and run the hot-water line in the basement ceiling. Fortunately, there is a service panel in our basement drywall ceiling underneath this particular toilet, and we drilled a hole in the bottom of our vanity (see picture) and then through the ceramic tile and floorboard. It was complicated to feed rigid wire down to determine where in the ceiling below the hose would end up, but we made it work after drilling a second hole closer to the front of our vanity. Next I had to drill into the floor near the toilet - and I watched a YouTube video for guidance. Using blue painter's tape, I taped an X over the spot where I wanted to drill into the bare tile floor behind the toilet. I also used a sharp punch (you can also use a sharp concrete nail) to create a divot in the hard glossy surface of the tile which helps the drill bit stay in place and drill the hole through the tile without cracking the tile. The video says to use a carbide drill bit for tile and I did not have one but I did have a concrete drill bit and that worked to at least make a pilot hole. After that I was able to make a wider hole with a regular fat drill bit that was exactly the diameter I needed for the white supply hose that came in the package. (see picture). You have to connect the hot water line to the bidet attachment first and then feed the line to the sink. It was easy to feed the whole line down behind the toilet. Then I had to go downstairs and work on a ladder and route the line across and up through the hole in the floor beneath the vanity and through the upper hole in the bottom of the vanity. I used rigid copper electrical wire crimped into a J hook at the end to insert tightly into the supply hose, and fed the wire up through the holes - it took my helper (my son lol) a bit of time to get that all threaded as needed because I was working through a 8"x8" hole in the drywall ceiling and had to stick one arm up and just feel around to make this all work - but we got it done. After that, connecting the hot-water t-joint under the sink wasn't that hard until I turned the hot water back on and had a steady drip/stream from the connection between the t-joint and the hot water valve. This was fixed by turning the water back off, disconnecting the t-joint from the hot water valve, wrapping teflon tape around the hot water valve threads, and re-attaching the t-joint. Luxe provided teflon tape and I used it rather than getting mine from the garage and it worked fine. Be sure not to over-tighten all of the connections between the Luxe attachments and the plumbing in your house. There are rubber washers and gaskets everywhere that they need to be, and those should not be over-tightened or they will pop out of position and cause you small leaks. Also I used large wire-cutters to clip the white hot water supply hose to the desired length, and if I didn't have those a pair of strong scissors would have also done the trick. At the end when all the water was turned on, I opened the nozzle-guard gate and tested the water on the "nozzle-clean" setting of the bidet attachment. Remember you cannot test the actual bidet "wash" or "women's" settings unless there is a person sitting on the seat - or you'll fountain-spray the wall and ceiling! The nozzle cleaning flow worked great, even with the temperature mix, and I had no drips or leaks at any of the connections. The toilet flush test was successful and the tank filled exactly like it did before I installed this device. Running the hot water tap on my sink brings the hot to my bathroom in a few minutes, and the warm mix was a very welcome comfort over just the cold. Sorry for the long review but I am so happy to report that it did take some home-improvement skills and experience but this do-it-yourselfer was able to install the Luxe 320 with everything included in the package, and with the general tools I had around the house so I am VERY pleased. And I will reiterate that we found the design and styling of this device to be the best choice of all the high rated bidet attachments, and the quality of the construction of the device and the components confirm that we made a sound purchase. Highly recommend!
