This is the nicest and most economical option for a durable shattaf/bidet if you want warm water. I prefer a handheld anyway. I spent a long time looking for something like this that didn’t just spray ice cold water from the toilet supply line. For a while we just used peri bottles. This is worlds better. I sprung for the brass one—it’s a nice, hefty thing. I love the pressure adjustment, it’s actually pretty strong at a medium setting from my old, low-pressure pipes. Just remember to turn ever...

Just remember to turn everything on and off in the right order. The handheld aspect is convenient for keeping the sink basin clean, rinsing out hand washable garments, and rinsing washable menstrual pads (it’s generally great for menstrual hygiene). It’s nuts that this feels like such a luxury when truly, the custom of wiping with paper is a stain on western civilization, pun intended.

I researched Bidets for awhile now and was looking at the seat units, but I was nervous about some of the reviews saying they had leaks and water damage happen to their bathrooms. Its really great and Im very happy that it has the valve at the sink. You have to shut off the valve in order to wash your hands. So theres never any buildup pressure that can cause leaks while Im not home. This unit looks cheap but performs very well and I dont see any leaks from the connections. It took a couple of uses to get use to using it, as far as the control valve, but I got the hang of it quickly and now I feel very fresh after using it. Also, using less tissue now

Definitely NOT for heavier/larger people!

(Note - medicalish talk ahead): Due to certain medical issues, I needed a bidet for trips to the bathroom. I could not afford a formal "bidet toilet seat", and the bidet attachments you can put under a seat have certain limitations. (Note - medicalish talk ahead): Due to certain medical issues, I needed a bidet for trips to the bathroom. I could not afford a formal "bidet toilet seat", and the bidet attachments you can put under a seat have certain limitations. I visited the RinseWorks site to read up on their offerings, and a hand-held one like they sell SEEMED, based on their description, like what would work for me. It does not - and here's why: I'm a larger guy. On their site for this item, it does say it works better for larger people than traditional seat type attachments, which is why I bought it. Well, it comes with two spray heads, one wider and one allegedly "narrower" spray wise. Unfortunately, the narrow one isn't narrow.
If you see the illustration I'm including (from their own site on this item) it shows someone actually holding the bidet down into the toilet alongside their body. If you are even moderately larger, your entire body covers the whole seat - there is NO room to squeeze this wand down into the seat. The cartoon person on the seat in their illustration in reference to that toilet, would be about a 10-12 year old child in size, not a full grown adult or much less a larger adult. Your only recourse then, is to "squat" over the toilet while standing, and using the bidet by hand that way - and water will go EVERYWHERE. The "narrow" spray head is still too wide, and once you get enough water power going to do any good, the wide water pattern goes beyond the area you want it to hit, splashing over the edges of the toilet into the floor, down your leg, etc.
VERY disappointing. A much smaller relative visiting tried it as well and they too, had no positive comments about using it. I have found that a battery powered travel bidet has a much more effective (and less messy) nozzle on it than this one does. This could be ok if they came out with a spray head with a MUCH narrower spray pattern than it currently offers. As it is, I waited too long to send it back, so will have to simply use it as a toilet bowl cleaner (which it's actually ok at), rather than it's intended use. Again - very disappointed.
