Update after 2 years: have been using this every day every time I go. It is still like brand new. Love the cold water, it is refreshing. My best buy ever. The product is designed for simple toilets, not the skirted ones. I called customer service to ask if anything can be done, and all I can say is they are probably the best customer service in the world. They picked up the phone after 1 ring!!!!!!, they explained very clearly what was needed to add when installed on a skirted or one piece toilet (a 6 inch toilet extension hose 7/8" male female), they emailed a lot of pictures showing how it can be installed with that hose plus written explanation as well. The hose was shipped in 3 days (by another company), it is a perfect fit, very easy to instal. I chose to have the bracket installed on the wall because I find that easier to reach. And the product itself is out of this world. Made of brass, will certainly outlive me. There is plenty of pressure but it is adjustible for any requirement. All the chrome finish gives it a squeeking clean feel, there are extra parts for longer handles, and an extra head for a softer jet. I just love this gadget and am very happy that I chose this manufacturer, I can't imagine a better made one in its category. Also now that I have it, I would never think of getting one of those fancy bidet seats where so many things can go wrong. Nothing beats simplicity. After 10 days: I love it even more. The cold water spray feels so refreshing, I certainly do not miss or want warm water added. Read Less

I wish I would have known about this product a long time ago. I suffer from IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) and never feel completely clean. I originally wanted to purchase the bidet attachment that fits under the toilet seat, but my hubby didn’t like the aesthetics of it. I looked at several seats and sprayers and really liked the reviews on this sprayer - so I purchased it. Easy to install. Very good quality. Less obtrusive than the bidet seat attachment. I originally wanted to purchase the bidet attachment that fits under the toilet seat, but my hubby didn’t like the aesthetics of it. I looked at several seats and sprayers and really liked the reviews on this sprayer - so I purchased it. Easy to install. Very good quality. Less obtrusive than the bidet seat attachment. We don’t have the hot water attachment, so ours is connected to the toilet plumbing which is “BRRRRR” cold water. Lol! But honestly, once you get used to it, it feels refreshing. It does take a couple of tries to get used to how the sprayer works. My advise, as I learn from my mistakes...lol! The first time I turned it on, I turned on the main shut off valve and the sprayer handle wasn’t in the off position. Water sprayed all over the wall! Hahaha. So I’ve learned to hold the sprayer into toilet bowel, then turn on the main valve behind the toilet. Then aim where you want it. From there you can adjust the pressure. I have have had a plumbed-in bidet in my two homes since 1983 but I now live with my youngest son (three sons are all plumbers) and neither bathroom has space for a bidet. I am 82 years old, have IBS and was tired of jumping into the shower a few times a day after using the toilet. I bought this RinseWorks hand held unit with low expectations that it would do the job; my son was reluctant because it was not stamped CSA approved but, anyway, he installed it in a couple minutes. Eureka--I am amazed at how well and efficiently it works. After the first use when I sprayed over the toilet's edge, I quickly learned the correct angle to hold it before turning the sprayer valve on. You don't have to change the water flow direction from toilet tank to bidet with each use as it automatically flows to the bidet when turning the sprayer on and back to the toilet tank when the sprayer is turned off. The cold water is not a problem; not as cold as swimming in the lake. Given a choice, I would choose this hand held bidet over a sit-on bidet every time. I wholeheartedly recommend this RinseWorks product; every toilet should have one!! Read Less

Though there is no plastic in this, it still has a shut off valve that ensures you won't flood your house. It takes while to get used to making sure you turn the valve off every time, but due to the quality it's not likely to break. Though there is no plastic in this, it still has a shut off valve that ensures you won't flood your house. It takes while to get used to making sure you turn the valve off every time, but due to the quality it's not likely to break. Many of the cheaper options really are just repurposed kitchen sink sprayers, while this product has several extensions that you can decide what works for you. I'm still experimenting, but the different options definitely do a better job than trying to aim a kitchen sprayer without getting water everywhere. This is my first experience with a bidet type thing, despite spending a semester in Italy I admit I never had the courage to figure out how to use a standard bidet, I was young and confused by the concept, sorry world, but Americans just have never seen one, we literally don't know what to do. But, this is easy to use and gives you accuracy. One surprise is that since it's not heated it does take some getting used to, so be prepared. Once you get used to it it's fine. It was mostly easy to install, except I had to get a different water connection hose, the sprayer extension caused my hose to bend in such a way I worried it put to much pressure on the water entry pipe, which mine is just plastic so not sturdy. A guy at the hardware store helped, as there wasn't a shorter hose that would fit my connection, so said get a 20 inch hose and loop it so it relieves the pressure off the water entry pipe. So, it took a bit of work, but I got it working. This probably won't come up for most people, if they have a more sturdy plumbing system, but it's worth mentioning the work around we came up with should someone else run across this issue. Read Less
