[Incentivized Review] Best Bathroom Addition!
one startwo starsthree starsfour starsfive stars
Received the product in the mail early afternoon, and had this Spalet bidet seat installed within about 45 minutes after it was delivered. Excellent instructions to guide you for the install. It isn't bulky at all, and looks fine even with the added connections for the water supply. I was a little concerned about the water pressure, but did not have any difficulty with that, as there are two settings, low and high.
I like the heated seat and the added night lite. I would have loved having this seat after the birth of my kids years ago, as it is very soothing, and would be perfect for treating that area. I am very happy with this item, and look forward to seeing how well it lasts!

[Incentivized Review] First Bidet Experience - Thumbs Up

A little unsure, but found it useful for cleansing. The added features of the night light, and heated seat (with dual settings) definitely enhances the value. Also, the fact that the wand rinses itself allays any fears that debris may build up over time.
Installation was pretty straight forward, despite having to install an outlet. Outside of that, it was merely a matter of replacing a seat, connecting the hose, and plugging it in. Pretty simple actually.

A 'wish' would have been for a seat with a dryer since wiping after washing is a bit damp from just a drip dry. This might be something to consider highlighting so there is no confusion in which model to purchase.
All-in-all, great product to significantly upgrade a bathroom experience without having to replace an entire toilet.

[Incentivized Review] My new fave thing!
one startwo starsthree starsfour starsfive stars
I've always wanted a bidet and this one is a great one! Easy to install with easy to follow instructions, took minutes, has temp settings for water and the heated seat! I love the light too which is bright enough for a night light without being too bright. The only thing I can knock on it is probably the relatively thinness of the lid but it still seems sturdy enough so I'm good with that. I'm very pleased and can't wait to have a warm seat this winter! Tried to
post pics but couldn't. Tip: be sure you have it positioned where it needs to be before locking on because it's not so easy to get it back off.

The seat was incredibly easy to install, I replaced the old one in about 30 minutes. All of the required hardware is included, all you need is a screwdriver and (maybe) an adjustable wrench (don’t overtighten). It is important to note that you do need to have an electrical outlet nearby. I installed a new one a few weeks ago knowing that I was getting this.

It is important to note that you do need to have an electrical outlet nearby. I installed a new one a few weeks ago knowing that I was getting this.
The seat itself is comfortable, but you do lose some sitting room and the opening is smaller compared to the regular toilet seat it replaced, because the back part of the seat that houses the electronics and such take up some of the space. It is also simple to use, there are two buttons on left that toggle through low, medium and off settings for the heated seat temperature and water temperature. The dial on the right controls the water flow and ‘aim’ (forwards for front, back for rear and center for ‘off’). The flow isn’t overpowering, but enough to get you clean, and the water warms almost instantly. The sprayer itself is contained when not it use and has a self cleaning system, while the exterior doesn’t appear to be any more difficult to clean than any other seat. It also has a light that automatically illuminates for nighttime visits. My only complaint would be that the cord could be a little longer. I was able to reach mine on the opposite side, but an extra foot or two would’ve been nice so I could tuck it away better.
In summary, it may seem a little expensive at first, but when you consider what you pay for a night or two at a fancy hotel compared to something like this that will last you for years of use, I think it is totally worth it. It will also save you money on toilet paper (although you’ll still need some to dry off) and have less impact on your pipes and the environment. It will get you cleaner and the seat heater and warm water are an added comfort. Go ahead and get one…your posterior will thank you later.

I installed this in our master bathroom and we have used it for about a month now. Since my wife often uses flushable wipes, I got this in hopes of eliminating (or at least significantly decreasing) such usage since they can cause plumbing issues (i.e. clogs!). This was super easy to install...took less than 20 minutes. It comes with a cord that when plugged in heats the seat and the water, but you can also use it without plugging it in which is what we've been doing since we don't necessarily care about a heated seat and/or water. It has two directions of spray (a slightly forward direction and a rear [no pun intended!] direction). You simply use the dial/switch on the side to turn on the spray (move it forward for the front area and move it backward for the rear). It also has two flow settings (min, max) for each direction...so you can choose to spray a little or a lot depending on the situation. We absolutely LOVE this product!!! I wasn't sure how much I would actually use it when I got it but I think I use it more than my wife at this point! Lol It's just so easy and convenient to use. It's also self cleaning btw so now worries there, and the lids are self closing so no more accidentally "dropping" the toilet seat! I would definitely encourage people to check this product out. It's high quality and works flawlessly...and it will definitely eliminate or at least save on the use of flushable wipes!!! :) Totally worth it. Thinking about actually getting one for my parents since we love it so much.
I am so excite to own this Bidet Seat! It was easy for my husband to install in about 30 minutes! We had to get a electrical outlet for the power cord! Can I just say it was worth the wait! I love the heated seat! The spray nozzle sprays warm water in the right spot and is adjustable for the amount of pressure you want! The light shines in the toilet it makes a great night light! The construction of the seat is very well made! I wish I had one for all my bathrooms!

[Incentivized Review] Great Seat for the Price! Quality is Great Too!
one startwo starsthree starsfour starsfive stars
I was skeptical of a bidet seat at first, but decided to give this a try. It is actually quite nice after the first try (the jet of water on you behind is quite a shock). The nice part is you can adjust the water temperature and its not too bad when warm. The heated seat is a nice added touch also. The lid is not quite as stylish as the stock soft close lid on my American Standard toilet, but it is not hideous either. I think they could add a rib around the top lid to add a but of styling to make it more appealing.

This is the second bidet that I own, and I have to say that, right from the get go, I am not impressed with the AquaWash 2.0 SpaLet. Most of my problems were in the installation, but I do have two other issues that are bringing the rating of this bidet down to a solid 3.0.

This is the second bidet that I own, and I have to say that, right from the get go, I am not impressed with the AquaWash 2.0 SpaLet. Most of my problems were in the installation, but I do have two other issues that are bringing the rating of this bidet down to a solid 3.0.
First, installation: The seat uses a base plate with two sliding plates for each hole on the toilet. This is just how my other bidet attaches as well, as the electronics and water works for the bidet sit directly above the bolts. I don't think I've ever had so much difficulty getting a seat lined up properly. The sliding plates slide around, the base plate slides around and all in all it was rather tiring and took about 20 minutes just to get this thing situated in the right spot.
However, the real issues started with the hose and the attachments. The included hose is stiff as a brick and the compression connectors at either end might as well be coated in oil. I don't know why AquaWash couldn't use thumbscrews like every other connection to a toilet. The instructions do not say if you should use a wrench, but I was forced to as there was simply no way to tighten the connectors. Once I had them on there, I realized I had made a mistake... both of the connectors had cross-threaded and were sitting crooked. I took them off, and realized just how cheaply made this product is: the hose connections on the T adapter and the bidet itself are plastic, and because of the cross-threading, where now damaged. Shaking my head, I re-connected the hoses very slowly, using as little torque with the wrench as possible and pulling very hard on the hose to get it align straight. I was successful in threading the second time, but this issue would not have arisen if the hose was more limber or the connectors were a higher quality plastic.
Second, Use: I discovered that the electrical cord for the bidet was 1" too short to reach the outlet... forcing me to run it up and over the toilet instead of down and under and out of the way. It looks terrible.
The other issue I have, and this very well maybe the end of this bidet: it emits a very high pitched beep when in use that continues to ring until it's turned back off. It is very irritating, but only comes on sometimes. Occasionally it just beeps a single chime and that's it.
Last, in closing: I am so far not impressed with this bidet. I will use it for a short while, as it does appear to give decent pressure and leaves you "feeling fresh". However, I'm not sure its worth the eye sore of the dangling power cord, or the headache of the beeping.
It does have pressure control for the water, seat heat and water heat.

Easy to install, took me approx 35 min .With one exception that i think could use an improvement. The tee connector that attaches to to water supply is plastic and if someone is not careful, you could cross the threads and make the fitting useless.
The features that this seat offers are fantastic. Heated water and heated and lighted seat are well made and easily controlled. The water spay is very effective for both front and rear and works well.

My wife has been using this for the last 2 weeks and is very happy with the results.
I would recommend that to anyone who who would like the cleaning that it offers.
My only advice to American Standard is that the price could be a little lower and i think more people would get the benefit of using this product.

Good but Improvements could be made

Overall the seat is well built and comfortable but there are a few things I would change that would allow me to enjoy the seat more. I wish you had the option to turn the bowl light off and on instead of it being on all the time, and that the heated seat would automatically turn off when you get off the seat. Set up was a bit painful but that was no fault of the product, we learned that our toilet has an unusual fitting causing us to buy $40 in additional hoses and fittings to make it work. Thus far I am pretty happy with the product though maybe a little disappointed in the price paid for what I got.
