In less than an hour I had the bidet mounted and all plumbing connections finished. The directions were simple and clear. That said, I think if more people were exposed to them their popularity would grow. When I first installed a bidet I was hesitant, and wondered if we would like it. After just a couple weeks of use we became spoiled. Now we don't like being away (travel, other locations, etc.) where there is not a bidet. My wife has commented on multiple occasions that one of the things she misses most about travel is her bidet! The control knob is simple. Turn one direction for a stream of water directed a little further back (aft), and turn it the other way for a more stream aimed a bit further forward (front). The water pressure intensifies as you turn further in either direction. I also like the sleek, streamlined look. I don't see being without a bidet in the future, and this one works well. This is the 3rd add-on bidet that we have, but this is the first one that doesn't have a self-cleaning ability for the nozzles. The other 2 allow you to spray water from the jets onto itself to clean them and remove clogs, however this one will only spray front or back. With that said, it works just the same as the others. The other 2 allow you to spray water from the jets onto itself to clean them and remove clogs, however this one will only spray front or back. With that said, it works just the same as the others. It works, but you need to adjust yourself on the toilet seat to get the right angle. The "front" vs "back" nozzles really depend on where you sit on the seat, so adjust around until you find an angle that is comfortable. It comes with all of the hardware required to install and it attaches under your toilet seat. It is really hard to get it to stay in one position at all times, so you'll need to adjust and re-tighten it from time to time. I'd say there are better models out there in this price range. You need to really make sure the black rubber stopper is as far in as it goes and then get a very firm fit on the pipes or you will have nonstop leaks. You need to really make sure the black rubber stopper is as far in as it goes and then get a very firm fit on the pipes or you will have nonstop leaks. The tap-cold water doesn't bother me, i thought it might but its not so much worse than heated bidets. You need to turn down your water faucet a bit to make sure the water doesnt come blasting out of the bidet even at the lowest setting youll have a lot of backsplash to clean up. Cant say I know how this product could be improved without an electric system. AFTER 2 MONTHS: After using this bidet only 2 months, now neither fossette works. The just trickle water out instead of spraying. At first one broke but i could still use the other. Now neither works. Read Less
