Love this thing. I really miss this when I travel. I guess I'm spoiled. I bought this smart toilet as part of our bathroom remodel. It was a few months between the purchase and the installation. Once construction was complete I was able to play with the many features this toilet had to offer. Heated seat: works great, and it's really welcome in the middle of winter Auto flush: this is a handy feature Turbo wash: maybe only necessary for the obsessive, but I really like the adjustable pressure. Economy mode: nice to know features turn off over time to be more eco friendly. Dryer: I like this feature, but it does not get you completely dry, and it takes a while. I rarely use it now. I think you still need access to toilet paper, but much less than before. Highly recommend this smart toilet. Read Less

There are a couple issues we want to point out: 1) The seat cover is plastic and cannot be sat on like most toilet seat covers. 2) The power cord is 3 feet not 4 feet in length as indicated. 3) We installed it at a home with a cistern/water pump and found the flushing did not seem to work well. There are a couple issues we want to point out: 1) The seat cover is plastic and cannot be sat on like most toilet seat covers. 2) The power cord is 3 feet not 4 feet in length as indicated. 3) We installed it at a home with a cistern/water pump and found the flushing did not seem to work well. We moved it to another home with city water pressure and it seems to work properly. (40-50psi vs 60-80psi) 4) The remote control is not easy to use for the elderly. My parents had a challenge reading/operating it. The remote could have colors and larger lettering to facilitate using it. Overall, we are happy with the purchase. The flushing action works well to keep the bowl clean. The heated water and heated seat are very comfortable features. Its our first time having a bidet and it is so much better/cleaner than using toilet paper. Read Less

The price is just right - and offers enough value that you can overlook the few flaws. I would preface by mentioning that I have used multiple alternatives before - the really high end ones (TOTO, etc.) and the entry level ones (Tushy, etc.) in various settings so this was a happy medium for me. The price is just right - and offers enough value that you can overlook the few flaws. If VOVO can really pay attention to what the customers are saying and make those small enhancements - this product will surely blow most competitors out of the water. The Good: The installation is a breeze, and requires minimum to no prior knowledge or tools. Although - any wrench of any size will just make your job much easier and faster. The hose that comes with it WILL NEED some strength to properly tighten and attach to the bidet - both parts are plastic and your hand will only go so far. I tried fastening the hose without any tools and it was NOT enough - water leaked everywhere - so do yourself a favour and use a wrench or flat-face pliers to tighten the hose to the bidet. The paper template helps in framing the seat without much trial and error - the hose length is enough for most standard situation - the seat itself and the top cover are both indeed SOFT close - which is great. The controls let you customize almost all functions which helps finetune the settings just right. The night light is a nice touch - the seat heats up quick - the water is warmer than you need - the drying fan has temperature control which is great. This bidet does well what it promises - and is overall a positive experience. Possible Improvements: The power cord is a bit too short - if you do not have an outlet on the RIGHT side of the toilet - which many bathrooms will not. Adding a few more feet to the cord will drastically improve the applicability of this unit without needing additional equipement. There is no way to turn the nozzle position left or right (turn or tilt) - which limits the usability based on the toilet seat itself and the anatomical differences between users - I am sure this is an easier fix - as the nozzle moves in and out already. Moving yourself for better coverage just takes away from the premium experience. The water stream feels a bit sharp - it could be because the intention was to preserve water or the nozzle tips were made smaller for more precision - but that might not be comfortable for some users - and it does feel like bigger nozzle tips would result in a SOFTER flow - and would feel better on the skin. The neon light is a bit too bright - and cannot be customized to any color or brightness. It is what it is. At this price point - it is expected to have that small feature built-in because RGB LED lights cost almost nothing these days. I have put my own toilet seat light under it to solve that problem - but again - adding it to the unit will do wonders for value. If you keep it on all the time - it will remember your settings. But if you switch it off - it resets back to default settings - which might be annoying for most users. I have no problems keeping it on all the time - specially with the power saving mode. But something that could be improved here. Maybe saving profiles with a very small power footprint. So keeping it on standby is not a big draw? Overall - I recommend this product - the value it offers is quite unbeatable compared to other units of the same brand as well as other competitors. Read Less

Feels like somebody is gently blowing with as much force as I could produce with my own mouth at not much effort. - Rinse functions automatically shut off too soon for a proper clean, i often have to turn them on once. I wish there was a way to configure them to stay longer. - Found that seat does not heat in the raised position, not great for couples especially if you find seat raised and put it down to use the toilet, you will find it cold. I never heard of VOVO before and unfortunately there are no YouTube reviews for it but after checking out the website video/specs I decided to try the top of the line VB4000SE elongated model. My wife and I had been thinking about getting a bidet for quite a while and I looked at some of top brands such as TOTO and Brondell. I watched several video reviews so I knew what features and performance level was offered from the name brands. The bidet was very well packaged and even included batteries for the remote control. The quick install guide was a laminated color sheet with photos. Very nice except for steps 4&5 that were two pictures on top of each other. Those should have been separated for clarity. The manual has install instructions which are good however there were two long metal screws with metal washers and long soft plastic nuts that were not show or mentioned. I assume they’re for mounting to certain types of toilet bowls but strange they weren’t shown. The one thing I don’t like about the lid is that it is not strong enough to sit on. This may not be a big deal to most. Installing the bidet and connecting it up to the water supply was a breeze but make sure you have a large enough wrench to tighten the hoses. As most bathroom don’t have an electrical outlet near the bowl, be prepared to use an extension cord or have an electrician install one. The remote comes with a wall mounted holder but it doesn’t include drywall screws for that. There is double sided tape on the back but if you mount using that, it will wreck the drywall if you need to remove it. There are four control buttons on the water side of the seat for basic functions but you can’t see them when sitting so remember the order if you have to use them. The remote is laid out well and easy to navigate. I read some reviews for name brand models that had remotes that were difficult to use. Can’t imagine that but VOVO’s is straight forward. It seems to work no matter where you hold it so if you don’t want to use the wall mount, no problem. It will be interesting to see how long the batteries last. So the big question is, does it work well. My answer, yes and maybe too well. The heated seat can get real warm for those who want that. Plastic doesn’t get that cold anyway so I just use the low heat setting. The warmth does feel nice though. The nozzle has positional adjustment so you can aim it right where you need it. It has standard wash as well as a rhythm setting for both posterior as well as feminine washing. The rhythm fells likes it going in a circular pattern. The enema function does what it says so be prepared for that. It starts at the minimum setting then slowly increases. You can stop it at any time. The one feature I was really curious about was the heated water. VOVO uses a tank which means that the warm water can run out. I used the high temperature setting and used the water several consecutive times. I read some reviews that said once tank systems run out the water doesn’t go cold but it’s not warm. The water seemed to last about 40 seconds. Each time I used the function the water started out really warm but never went cool so I was please about that. The heated dry is not very powerful so getting completely dry will take a little while even on the highest setting. I’m not sure how auto deodorant function works or how well. More testing needed on that. The seat releases water over the nozzle each time as a cleaning feature. It can also be extended if a more through manual cleaning is necessary. I wish it had a silver ionic coating which is antimicrobial. That would be more effective at killing germs. Last is the LED bowl light. At first I thought it wasn’t needed but it does help when cleaning the bowl. Overall I’m very please with VOVO’s product. Pros: Easy install, works very well, easy to use remote, great looking design, made in Korea (quality). Cons: Lid not strong enough to sit on, lack of antimicrobial nozzle, drying fan could be more powerful, no wall mount screws for the remote ( I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for these features).
