I’ve used bidets in Japan, and my friend has an expensive name brand fancy bidet seat here in the U.S. I own a manual cold water Tushy and have been happy with it for years, but cleaning the bidet parts was such a pain.
I decided to take the plunge and give this off brand a shot for an upgrade. It’s more than half the price of the name brands, but I think you get what you pay for.

1. Installation was pretty simple. Some dish soap and a bit of twisting got the seat grommets in place pretty easily then a bit of tweaking on seat placement.
2. Con: The slide on/off function is a bit finicky and I worry it’ll break over time. This was a feature I was looking for the ease of cleaning.
3. Pro: like that it has a night light and kids function. Curious to see if it will hit the little ones bottoms though because it doesn’t move nozzle aim. I don’t see how this is any sort of a disinfectant light.
4: Con: nozzle aim is lacking and using the remote to move aim makes hardly any difference. You have to physically move your bottom.
5. Con: water temp isn’t consistent and fluctuates pretty far from setting. Not hotter, but definitely gets colder. Far from constant consistent heat.
6. Con: speaking of water, the pressure is nothing close to my manual bidet, even on this seats “turbo” mode. Full actual water pressure does not flow.
7. Undecided: dryer is what I expected and will not eliminate toilet paper unless you want to sit for 5 or so minutes after the deed is done.
8. Con: splash back on top of the unit and the bottom opening for the nozzle door will make things consistently messy and non sanitary. I included photos.
9. Con: the front part of the seat width is much thinner than a standard toilet seat.
10. Con: water filter is not needed!
11. Con: can’t tell if eco mode is on or off
Maybe a longated seat functions better, but there seems to be too many cons to the round version for this style of seat. I just installed it, so will let the family give it a go and then make adjustments to
My review if warranted.
