I have wanted to install a bidet toilet for awhile but wanted a full toilet, rather than just an add on. I selected this option as it offers it all. Smart technology, bidet functions and a stylish look. The installation wasn’t too bad. I had to install an outlet close to the toilet, but with an unfinished basement below, it wasn’t too much work. The mounting brackets easily attached to the existing flange. The hardest part by far was picking up the toilet itself. It is fairly heavy and with the vertical side, there isn’t much to hold onto. I was eventually able to get it lined up though and tightened down. It felt a bit weird reading the manual on how to use a toilet but there are so many functions with this one. I particularly like how when you walk up the toilet the seat opens right up. Then you can kick the right front of the unit and the seat will then open as well. After using it, one more touch with your foot and the lids closes and automatically flushes. I also love the nightlight which allows you to keep this lights off and not shock your eyes, but not missing at the same time. When sitting on it, the headed seat feels great and warms up nicely. The bidet functions offer all kinds of different settings and options from water temperature to pressure. After cleaning up the air dryer blows warm air to dry everything off. We have a tiny bathroom (converted closet), so we can't put in an elongated-bowl toilet and still have room to brush our teeth. We tried a Moen bidet seat, but it had flaws... no oscillating wash, and it required sitting too far forwards (let's just say that as a man sitting on it... brrrr). Based on the measurements, I realized that the Alpha UXT would be four inches shorter overall, since it is tankless and sits back farther relative to the floor drain than our old toilet. We tried a Moen bidet seat, but it had flaws... no oscillating wash, and it required sitting too far forwards (let's just say that as a man sitting on it... brrrr). Based on the measurements, I realized that the Alpha UXT would be four inches shorter overall, since it is tankless and sits back farther relative to the floor drain than our old toilet. I was a little concerned about the flush sound, but it is pretty quiet. The only drawback is the remote... the Moen's remote is far more elegantly laid out, and the Alpha's is a bit cryptic (I'm still not sure I've got the User 1 / User 2 working right, and getting an oscillating wash is non-intuitive and doesn't always seem to work). It would be nice to be able to push "User 1" and have it just run the cycle as preset from there rather than having to press additional buttons. I much appreciate being able to program it to not flush every time, and the ability to silence the noises and turn off the night light is important since it's so close to our bedroom. Pristine aesthetics, it looks great in my bathroom without the watertank in the back and frees up a lot of "space" and visually very pleasing. Very impressed with this toilet, it has features and functions like the standalone bidet toilets twice this price. Pristine aesthetics, it looks great in my bathroom without the watertank in the back and frees up a lot of "space" and visually very pleasing. The spray is more powerful than you think even at the lowest level and flushes great. Note the memo from the manufacturer to use the 1/2" - 7/8" connector shut off due to flow issues with using the 3/8" - 7/8" hose. I already had a Pex to 3/8" sharkbite connector and I did not want to mess with it by cutting the Pex and reconnecting with with the provided shut off. Instead I used a 3/8" to 1/2" faucet hose to make the connection to the provided shut off then from the shutoff to the toilet itself. The touchless lid open with your leg does require you to be pretty close to the sensor, almost touching the side. Another recommendation I would say is use the extended wax ring to install this toilet to avoid any fitment issues if you have finished Tile or any other floor where the floor is higher than the toilet ring below it. The toilet is fairly heavy for 1 person to handle. Highly recommend installing this toilet with a friend who is strong enough to help guide the toilet on a new wax ring and the brackets set inside the toilet ring. I have a 3K Toto toliet....and 2 other more expensive Bidets on other toilets....this is the least expensive one I own.....but it is just as good..... The Toto opens and shuts and is auto flush...so this does not compare, but this is just as good as the other similar added Bidets that I own. Great pressure...warm seat and water..... easy to use with the controls on the side....other ones all have remotes..... do like the seat side controls...works for me...but I am not a large person....not sure... Tested it for the kids play issue.... water did not shoot out when I pretended to sit on it. Perfect to stop kids from messing with it. LOVE the "off" button, so I can easily turn it off when long time not in use (I have to unplug my other toilet seats to turn them off..... like this seat a lot..... it is lower than most of the other ones, so less obnoxious to look at. Super easy to install.....I just did another brand last month....this was even easier! it was NO problem to put in and I am a 50 year old female (who is handy)  Read Less
