Due to surgery and not having my dominant hand to use, it was suggested I buy a bidet. I ordered/received this a month ago and it has been the best thing ever! Because I wanted remote control the only ones I found had all the 'bells and whistles'. Since I knew nothing about bidets I did a lot of research and finally chose this Alpha Bidet UX Pearl. It was delivered the day before surgery and took very little time with no issues for my husband to install. Luckily I have an electrical socket next to toilet. I was thankful to have this important task ready for my post surgery needs. It seems to clean really well since I don't (can't) use tissue at all, but most would probably want to use a couple sheets only for full dryness. Maybe it's a female thing, but if sit for long or thru complete DRY cycle, it does stimulate to urinate again LOL. I love the heated water and position adjustment features. My husband absolutely loves the heated seat but doesn't really use the bidet features. Once you attach the wall mount, the remote is magnetized for easily taking on/off if needed. With my very large size, it was hard to find a sittable lid and this bidet fits the bill...very sturdy! Some of the reviews mention the beep sound when features change/turn on/off...this is no biggie because I'm in a closed room when using the toilet and what does it bother since I can barely hear it. Also some mention the length of cycles being too long, but you can stop anytime you choose with the stop button on remote. The osculating feature is nice and gives a more thorough cleaning. Of course the positioning of spout can be adjusted to hit the right spots. I have no need for the nightlight but it may come in handy at some point. I choose not to use the deodorizer. There is a 3yr warranty but I did not receive paperwork regarding this, so I need to contact manufacturer. I am completely ecstatic that I splurged on this purchase! Bidets are the best inventions, and I wholeheartedly believe a plus in cleanliness. I never want to go back to a regular toilet. I highly recommend the Alpha Bidet UX Pearl to everyone I know and to all you that are questioning a purchase. I have positive hopes that it lasts 3yrs or longer, but if it only gets me through until I can use my hand again it is well worth the purchase/cost! The UX Pearl Electric Bidet Elongated Seat from Alpha Bidet is quite the nice addition to my bathroom. The installation of this bidet to the toilet is actually super easy. It's as simple as taking off the old seat, installing the installation bracket which attaches to the toilet seat mounting holes in the toilet, and then sliding on the bidet seat until it clicks into place. The installation of the T-Valve is also pretty simple. Drain the toilet tank, turn off the water valve at the wall, unscrew the water line from the tank and add the T-Valve in-between the tank and the water line from the wall. The water line from the bidet then installs to the remaining outlet on the T-Valve. The hardest part of the whole thing for me was installing an electrical outlet near the toilet because I didn't have one there previously. Luckily I'm pretty handy when it comes to electrical work and was able to cut out and install a box in the side of my bathroom vanity. The bidet has a pressure sensor in it and it will not work unless you're sitting on the seat. I put some pressure on the sensor with my hand so I could test some of the functions and see them work at the same time. There is a control knob on the side of the bidet, but you really have to have the remote in working order for the system to fully function. There's a front and back setting for the sprayer, as well as a seat heater, water heater, and dryer function. The washing wand extends out of the seat when it's time to use it and it self cleans inside the unit before and after each use. You'll see some water dribbling out of the bottom of the seat when it's cleaning itself. It also has a bowl cleaning feature where it uses charged air particles to santize the bowl. There are presets that you can use if you have particular settings you like and there's a built-in deodorizer. There's also a nightlight feature if you want to keep a bowl light on. Easy to use remote works well with 2 presets + auto-cycle memory is a nice plus. “Pure Breeze" ionic sanitizer is quite nice. Design is very sleek and modern. It is not glaringly "a bidet seat" like my previous unit from another manufacturer. Heated water works well and is in fact continuous. White night light function was an added plus and much better than a blue light option. Bathroom looks clean and sanitary... Read More

Room for Improvement: Water pressure not as high as I would have liked - Could use additional 25% stronger flow option. More customization of the wash cycle would have been nice. The seat itself, however, is not nearly as comfortable as my previous unit from another manufacturer. Quite disappointed in the poor ergonomics of the seat. Also, the night light is more elegant in my opinion than the more typical blue light. All is well with this except, according to my wife, the front wash doesn't quite reach like expected. She has wiggle and move to position herself and it's just a little awkward. Don't know if other bidet seats have the same problem but it seems that since the nozzle is coming from the back of the seat it would be difficult to get the right position for a front wash.
