American Standard Bidet

American Standard Bidet is part of American Standard, a North American plumbing brand whose roots trace to the 1929 merger of American Radiator Company and Standard Sanitary Manufacturing Company. The bath and kitchen business was sold in 2007 to Bain Capital and, in 2008, merged with Crane Plumbing and Eljer to form American Standard Brands, headquartered in Piscataway, New Jersey. In 2013, Japan’s LIXIL Group acquired American Standard Brands. The company broadened its portfolio beyond toilets and faucets to include bidet solutions, offering bidet seats and integrated bidet toilets for North American homes under lines such as SpaLet. Today it focuses on water-efficient fixtures and smart-bathroom products, with bidet seats positioned alongside its core toilet collections in retail and pro distribution.
