Overall, the product is great! It works as intended and has some very nice features. All of the mechanical and electrical parts work and get the job done with almost no learning curve to use the product. The installation was easier than expected and quite fast once I got a lay of the land.

All features work as advertised. I do like that there are extra settings like more water pressure or a hotter seat if you use multiple button inputs. Just in case you want a little extra. I was skeptical at first about the deodorizer feature, but it works great!
My one complaint is that even though my specific toilet is within the range of sizes needed for installation, the product is still very large. The seat hangs over the bowl, so a few inches of the top of the bowl is exposed in the front. So, it sometimes makes using this a bit awkward.
All in all however, this bidet toilet seat is quite nice and I would recommend it. After using it for a while I can’t see myself going back to a regular seat.

(Incentivized Review) Very comfortable and leaves one pleasantly clean

We have been using the bidet seat for a few weeks and love it. It was easy to install. It is delightful to sit down onto a warm seat especially on a cold night. The adjustable spray is quite comfortable and the temperature is perfect. The female spray is also well positioned and cleans well. The cycle length is good though if a second cycle is required for messier occasions the water temperature does get a bit nippy. I periodically find the lid falls down but I think this is more due to the shelf behind our toilet than the design of the seat. Overall we are very happy with it and can easily recommend it.

(Incentivized Review) Works Great

Install was easy and all water connections needed were included. I had to add a GFCI outlet in the bathroom, otherwise the power cord would have gone across the vanity. Unit has good spray and has options to change the pressure and spray location. Fit on my toilet nicely even though it wasn't an American Standard toilet. The only suggestion I have is with the switch that senses when a person is sitting on the toilet. One of our family members is disabled and has balance issues. He tends to lean forward to hold a grab bar on the wall which shifts his weight forward on the seat. Since the sensing switch is located in the rear corner of seat, the spray will not work if he leans too much.

This electric bidet seat is great for anyone looking for the benefits of a home bidet. High quality materials, simple and clean design. Installation is simple, just remove the old toilet seat and install the seat bracket and snap in the bidet seat. Requires a nearby power outlet and tapping into your toilets water line, but everything is included. Has tons of features, and customize-able options. From a heated seat to heated water to charcoal air filter. Spray position and strength can be set to meet anyone's needs. Additionally there is an eco-mode to save power.

The Advanced Clean AC 1.0 SpaLet Electric Bidet Seat for Elongated Toilet in White is an amazing piece of technology. The bidet (a long time European standard) has 2 self cleaning nozzles with four positions. It comes with five settings for water pressure, water temperature and heated seat temperature (OMG). Included - a slow close seat - no slamming and lid with a detachable seat for easy cleaning.
FYI - You need an outet.

(Incentivized Review) Like it... but it’s clunky looking

We have been using this for a couple weeks and and enjoying it so far. My partner really wanted one and I was skeptical, but it’s growing on me. Install was pretty easy, around 45 minutes with removing the old seat. The only snag I ran into was that my water shut off was highly corroded and needed to be replaced. You’ll also need a gfi plug near your toilet to power the seat. As for the seat, the heated seat function is quite nice in the winter. The water that comes out of the jets is also heated with three different levels of force and temperature. I’m not super keen on the looks of it, and would be hesitant to install if it was visible from the door. Overall we do like the seat, but you have to get past the looks

Ok, I will admit that I was somewhat skeptical when my better half asked me to install a bidet toilet seat in our master bath. We did some shopping around and picked this one because of American Standards great reputation and the reviews were positive. Well, it’s in and fully operational and it’s much better that what I had expected. The assembly came very well packaged in less than a week after ordering. The installation instructions were clear and easy to follow. Be advised that this bidet requires grounded 110 vac to do its wonders. I was able to install a grounded receptacle hidden behind the toilet. It also requires a water line (included) that connects to your existing toilet supply line. During the installation, I replaced my old toilet supply line with a new stainless braided line from Home Depot. Ok, so now the FEATURES: great seat warmer (adjustable), you can adjust the spray strength and positions (front and rear), it has a water temperature adjustment, slow close lid, and a massage! The only thing I have a small problem with is that even though it is for a elongated bowl, the seat opening is smaller due to the workings of the seat. But it is very comfortable. This product is great and highly recommended.

[Incentivized Review] Nice addition to bathroom.

This product seems to be a nice addition to our bathroom. It took a bit to used to, but once we got the settings where we wanted them, it started growing on us. You can adjust the heat of the water, the heat of the toilet seat, and also the level at which the water sprays out. There are separate nozzles for front and back, as to not cross contaminate. You can use the eco button so the toilet seat isn’t constantly being heated 24/7. I prefer to keep my seat heated during the night and first thing...

I must say, if I end up having another baby, this bidet would be wonderfully perfect in the days and weeks after delivery!!
As far as installation goes, my husband installed it in only 10 minutes. However, with the plastic inserts that were included, the toilet seat does not fasten well to the toilet, leaving the toilet seat wiggling. He is going to replace those.

[Incentivized Review] Nice unit, a few tweaks would have helped

Installation:
Instruction manual pretty good, recommend doing step 4 before 3 - better to attach seat, then attach the fill hose.
The water supply hose is a few inches TOO long, need to loop it to take up the length. The female nut on the brass T is a little too short, would be better with a few more threads to ensure it covers the inlet to toilet. The water supply hose is a few inches TOO long, need to loop it to take up the length. The female nut on the brass T is a little too short, would be better with a few more threads to ensure it covers the inlet to toilet. (Also, be careful, the fill valve on toilet, is often plastic thread, they can be easily cross threaded). The male threads on the T connection could be a little longer as most water supply line nuts are “deep”.
The mounting plate for the seat takes a few adjustments to make sure the seat (when clipped in) doesn’t hit the back. Hint: put Vaseline on rubber nut bushings to push them into the seat holes on toilet easier. Never over tighten, porcelin can crack!
Usage:
Good control panel, easy to use. A few things would have helped: a timer to turn off after a certain period of time, and while my house water pressure is strong, the bidet (even on high) doesn’t have as much pressure I would have preferred, but not too bad.
The look was nice, streamlined, the back is a little tall, but I guess that typical for these units. The cover felt solid, not flimsy to sit on (when closed).

With bidets becoming so popular in the United States, it makes sense for American Standard to offer a selection for sale at common hardware stores. The Japanese brand that popularized them, Toto, has sunk in quality with their recent offerings and this AC 2.0 model could be a better buy.

Two of my favorite features in bidets are the heated seats and deodorizing fans, which are not possible on the cheaper unpowered models. The AC 2.0 has both and they work perfectly. The seat temperature can be adjusted to be just right, making me wish all my seats had this function. The fan turns on when in use and for a while after, with nearly silent operation. Other functions I look for are a misting of the bowl prior to each use to prevent fecal matter from sticking and a drying fan. Unfortunately, the AC 2.0 does not have either.
The self-cleaning wands works reliably and the control panel buttons are big and easy to use. The labels are confusing, with the "bidet" being for feminine hygiene. I got a spray in the balls when I pressed that one. The "cleansing" button is for anal use and can be adjusted a bit to hit the right spot, but the main adjustment comes from sitting position. The massage function is pretty lame and doesn't do much. The hot water tank is very small and the water becomes cold quickly. I can't fault the model too much for this, because in-line heaters for unlimited hot water are never available in this price range. An option would be running a hot water line to the bidet, but this would lead to a lot of energy loss due to hot water sitting in the lines, mostly unused for the bidet. For those few who have a small water heater near the toilet, such as under the sink, that would be a good option. Otherwise, just enjoy the warm water while it lasts.
In terms of water stream pressure, it seems largely dependent on your water pressure. My water pressure is unfortunately a little low.
Like many bidet seats, this one has a chunky rounded plastic design that would look at home in a hospital. Build quality is great, though, with a slow close hinges and thick rubber pads to keep things quiet. Installation was quick and painless.
There are so many options for bidet seats that the one I would choose would vary from day to day as prices change. What I can say is that this one is built well and does the job. It holds its own against other options in this price range.
