[Incentivized Review] Favorite toilet seat!

I really like the heat feature of this toilet seat. We keep our house temperature cooler at night. It is nice to have a warm seat instead of the shocking cold one. I use the eco button so that it does not heat during the day. It was easy to install, easy to use and adjust the settings. I like the detachable seat so that I can clean the unit completely.

This electric bidet seat is great for anyone looking for the benefits of a home bidet. High quality materials, simple and clean design. Installation is simple, just remove the old toilet seat and install the seat bracket and snap in the bidet seat. Requires a nearby power outlet and tapping into your toilets water line, but everything is included. Has tons of features, and customize-able options. From a heated seat to heated water to charcoal air filter. Spray position and strength can be set to meet anyone's needs. Additionally there is an eco-mode to save power

Happily warm in an otherwise cold bathroom. Straightforward installation.

As far as I can tell, this unit is identical to the INAX 8013A70GPC-415 in all respects. Pricing can vary between the two models, however, so it's worth taking a look at both so long as they're both available. I've installed two of these units now. In one case, the brass fitting on the provided divider did not easily mate with my existing plastic fitting. I ended up calling over my neighbor, a plumber, and it took him about 10 minutes to work the threads over on the plastic fitting so that there would be no leak. I didn't need a plumber for the second install. You might need an electrician to bring a GFI outlet close enough to the seat to avoid running electrical cords around your bathroom. I didn't need that in either case. So, if you can avoid the plumber and the electrician, the installation process involves removing the old seat, orienting and installing the new seat (5-10 minutes), disconnecting the water line and then inserting the divider into the connection (5 minutes), and finally connecting the water line to the seat, powering it up, and testing the functions (5 minutes). The seat itself is not quite as comfortable as my old Toto seat, largely because it tilts up just a bit in the back (to accommodate the water storage and dispensing areas). It's a little smaller and tighter, somewhat closer to a round seat in fit (although it requires an elongated toilet assembly) because it sits in front of the water storage unit (necessary in order to keep a supply of warm water handy for the spray). But the seat itself is warm, which is wonderful here in New England, where a cold toilet seat is the norm. That is the key difference between this model and lesser priced models, which don't have the seat warming feature. The warm water spray works perfectly, has a widely adjustable temperature (as does the seat), and of course the deodorizing fan that comes on as soon as one sits down is a pleasure as well. The overall assembly works well, looks good, and the keypad to the user's right side is intuitive and straight forward to manipulate. There is an "eco" setting which will turn off the seat heater and the water warming for 8 hours at the push of a button. If you're going away for a week, you can simply unplug the unit to leave the warming feature off during your absence. Installation/operating directions are clear and other than my initial plumbing issue, I had no problem following the instructions for installation.

[Incentivized Review] Nice addition to bathroom.

This product seems to be a nice addition to our bathroom. It took a bit to used to, but once we got the settings where we wanted them, it started growing on us. You can adjust the heat of the water, the heat of the toilet seat, and also the level at which the water sprays out. There are separate nozzles for front and back, as to not cross contaminate. You can use the eco button so the toilet seat isn’t constantly being heated 24/7. I prefer to keep my seat heated during the night and first thing...

I prefer to keep my seat heated during the night and first thing in the morning, then I use the eco to button during the day. I must say, if I end up having another baby, this bidet would be wonderfully perfect in the days and weeks after delivery!! As far as installation goes, my husband installed it in only 10 minutes. However, with the plastic inserts that were included, the toilet seat does not fasten well to the toilet, leaving the toilet seat wiggling. He is going to replace those.

(Incentivized Review) Incredible Luxury, Technology, Ease & Efficiency

With lots of buzz about modern seat bidets, I was curious about this product. I've really been impressed with this unit. It adds an incredible luxury to our onsuite bathroom. With lots of buzz about modern seat bidets, I was curious about this product. I've really been impressed with this unit. It adds an incredible luxury to our onsuite bathroom. I didn't consider American Standard to be a high tech company, but this seat is incredibly advanced, and likely shares lots of tech with Japanese designs. Install was very easy, taking 10 mins. The only sticking point was getting the seat grommets in place, my toilet had undersized holes. Using a screwdriver and pushing from inside of the grommet was the solution. In terms of features, this thing solves lots of discomforts. It's seat is always warm, with 5 way adjustable temp setting. It has an odor filter with fan, and removes unpleasant smells. It has front and rear water cleansing, with 5 way spray pressure, temperature and position adjustments. Self cleaning for spray arms. There's no maintenance at all. It keeps 0.88L of water stored inside at the prefect temp, and can recover the temperature after just 3 minutes. It features an Eco mode that turns off heat over night for 8 hours, while sleeping to save energy. I was worried that keeping the seat and water hot all day was going to make this expensive to run, however when tracking the power usage, I was delighted to find it uses under 0.4 KWh per day, this works out to just 6 cents per day, $1.8 per month or $21.90 per year. Let me tell you, it'll be the best 6 cents per day you'll ever spend. My wife doesn't love the look, as its pretty large and chunky. but for our onsuite, it doesn't matter how large it looks. I've told my friends and family about it, and for me its a game changer. Plus, it'll pay for itself eventually with the savings in toilet paper.

[Incentivized Review] Great features!

Another great product from American Standard. Full functionality for a Spalet Bidet Seat. The Front/feminime and Rear Wash has separate spray which is great. Pressure and Position Adjustment is useful since everybody has different position/need when they seat. The message function is a plus. The eco button need to be more clear but helpful in conservation. The only notation is the curvature of the seat itself is higher at the back compare to normal seat, create a sliding seating condition for some. Need to get used to it.
