Working upside down is a challenge for me but not a big one. If you desire a warmed toilet seat, warm water to rinse and clean those parts, to lightly massage those parts and dry them with a gentle breeze, you should like this washlet. It comes with a remote which can be mounted on the wall beside the washlet. I prefer this position over the one on an arm off the seat or one with a remote. But we are all different. Again, I love this washlet so much I've purchased another one. Our toilets are American Standard hence the American Standard washlet.
