I recently installed my American standard advanced clean 3.0 SpaLet, bidet toilet seat and I couldn’t be happier with it! It is both practical and luxe. Installation was quick and easy for something that does so much. Everything is noticeably well made. All the controls work smoothly and efficiently, I have no concerns with wearing with use. This seat has several options but not enough to overwhelm. It cleans without making a mess (other bidets I’ve tried can be a little messy with the spray). There are also options for pre-mist to cleanse the bowl and an air shield deodorizer which is exactly what it sounds like and is an unexpectedly amazing feature! The seat heat temp is also controlled and a necessity in cold climate areas but also provides a therapeutic component. The seat itself is incredibly comfortable and has enough give and support. The lid is a slow closing lid which is a must in our house. Added benefits include an ecofriendly option with it’s one touch power save mode. This is on top of the fact that bidets are environmentally friendly as it cuts down on toilet paper waste. The remote is user friendly and very intuitive. I did not have to read the manual to understand how to use it so guests will have no trouble with it as well. Each user can customize temp and type of spray. There’s also a warm air dry option which I’ve never seen on any other SpaLet/bidet. Finally, the design is sleek and unobtrusive. Other bidet seats can seem bulky but not this one. For those who have not used a bidet before, this will be a treat. For those who have, this is an absolute upgrade. This is the fanciest toilet seat I’ll ever own! It is the ultimate luxury. If cleanliness is important to you, this does the job! No complaints! I’ve never had a bidet seat before getting this one. And, to be honest, I wasn’t sure if I even wanted one. But, now that I’ve had this one for a few months, I can say that I’m extremely pleased with it overall. Installing this bidet seat is rather straightforward and easy, and will not be a problem for anyone unless you don’t have an electrical outlet, or a way to get an electrical outlet or extension cord plug near your toilet. In my case, I installed another outlet behind the toilet (I could have simply ran a cord from the adjoining room, but preferred to install another outlet). The bidet seat itself works well, and so far we’ve had no issues with it. The warmed seat and water feels really nice, and the nozzles can be moved around with the remote control to provide good cleaning coverage. If you’re looking for a bidet seat, I honestly feel you’ll be very pleased with this one. It’s a well-made, well-designed seat.  Read Less

The seat was packaged nicely to ensure no damage while shipping. Upon opening the box, we were a bit apprehensive and overwhelmed at the amount of pieces, but the directions were pretty straight forward and the YouTube videos definitely helped as well. You definitely don't need a plumber to install this, however, you will need an electrician to add an outlet nearby if you don't already have one. Once the install was done, we got to use the seat and it functioned as promised. I loved that the nozzles are adjustable since not everyone is the same size. The heated seat is a wonderful feature although not needed at this moment in July but will gladly be welcomed in January. The remote was well labeled and allowed every adjustment needed. The seat claims to be for the whole family but I definitely wouldn't recommend it for a button happy 4 year old like we have. All in all, great seat that functions wonderfully. I have this washlet in one of my bathrooms. I like it so much I.m putting one in the other bathroom. This is something most people can install themselves in 20 minutes - if you have available a convenient electric outlet. The only pain for me was attaching the two outlet hose. Working upside down is a challenge for me but not a big one. It comes with a remote which can be mounted on the wall beside the washlet. I prefer this position over the one on an arm off the seat or one with a remote. But we are all different. Again, I love this washlet so much I've purchased another one. Our toilets are American Standard hence the American Standard washlet. We had a mixed set up in our last house and it didn't work so well. Read Less
