AquaWash 1.0 Non-Electric SpaLet Bidet Seat with Manual Operation Owners Reviews

I had mixed feelings based on some of the reviews posted about water pressure. I found it to be very adequate. Installation was relatively simple. Of course there is always one issue with plumbing, I had to get a shorter hose connection from Home Depot - but all in all this is a well priced, well functioning basic Bidet - cold water line only was fine for us - we live in Florida. 

I purchased this seat because of shoulder surgery and needed to conduct my business with one hand for a while. This seat works great. Now that I've used it for a while, I wonder how I've not hade this sooner. The only issue I had, but is not bad, is that it would be nice to have left side controls not just right side. Other than that - great seat.

Easy installation, does what it promises to do. All the necessary equipment was included in this product. Installation took mere minutes. There was initially some leaking at the connection with the water closet, but this was my fault for not tightening enough. All of the connections are plastic so one must take care not to over tighten and no plumbing tape is recommended. Product washes my butt as advertised. 

Installed rather easily, no leaks, very sturdy seat. Very secure. I would recommend using a needle nose pliers and taking out the flow restriction plug. Works perfect with just the right amount of water volume and pressure. American Standard is a great quality brand and it shows in this product. 

For the money, this is a fantastic deal. It works great and it's simple to install. My only criticism is that the rubber seal/washer that goes between the seat and the supply hose is too thick. It makes me nervous that it only allows for 3 1/2 threads of the plastic male fitting it screws on to to be caught. Seems to me the washer/seal could be half the thickness. So far so good though, it's holding. 

I installed this product in a tight fitting space. Even though it was difficult to view the progress of the installation the instructions provided were very clear and it all went very well. The seat itself is very unusual as the lid overlaps the bottom and both top and bottom seem thinner than standard seats. The slow closure is nice. It works as it should and I wish I had purchased years ago.

Great bidet seat! It was really easy to setup with the parts provided. Took less than 1 hour. The T-connector provided hooks up at the water tank. We did end up buying a T connector from GenieBidet to connect at the water supply instead of the toilet tank. But that was a personal choice. It is really simple to operate. I use only the forward setting because I like the higher water pressure. 

Had a Tushy for 5 years, and it was such a pain to clean. I’d have to physically uninstall it to actually get everything clean and noticed how stuff got trapped in the weirdest places. I’ve had the American Standard installed for 3 months, and it’s night and day difference. Easy to slide off and clean, and there is significantly less to clean. And half the price!

After our third trip to Japan, I decided to install the seat in both bathrooms. On this trip, I went to Indonesia for work 1 week. Similar manual bidet seats were in the hotels. These were easy to install and so far no concerns. I researched these and found this to be the best solution. The only challenge I have is that the seat squeaks when I sit down. Not sure why. squeaky clean?
