Good Quality Materials, Poor Wash Power

Good quality. Easy installation. Quiet auto closing seat and lid work great. BUT the butt wash water pressure is too weak to fully clean me, even on the highest setting. The seat this one replaced had great water pressure and got me clean as a whistle. Sadly, not this one. So, after a few days of using lots of water to not get fully clean, and using way more wipes and toilet paper than should necessary with a bidet seat, I’m replacing this one.

Malfunctioning lid

The lid will not stay up and will try closing while sitting on it. The bidet function is acceptable.

Have had this bidet seat for a couple years now so have had a chance to fully test it out.
Definitely does what it says and no issues on that front. The only bad is it is impossible to tighten it fully so the seat slides back on a regular basis which then causes the lid to not stay upright and it will rest on your back while you are sitting down, this requires regular adjusting of the seat by pulling it forward. Also a challenge to keep clean with urine getting underneath the mechanism.

Lid Issues

This bidet seat kit was easy to install with some careful attention to details. While advertised as generic fitting, there were issues requiring modification to fit the toilet bowel. First issue is the bracket for the seat holder was too restrictive to easily fit the mounting holes on the Glacier Bay toilet I purchased. I was able to get the bolts through the holes but they rubbed the sides of the hole. Recommend the manufacture enlarge the bracket holes. Second minor issue was the connecting supply line to the bidet was super stiff, making alignment with the threaded connectors difficult. You only have one in a box, so cross threading would result in leakage and project failure. I was installing three, soon the second one I dunked the hose in some hot tap water. greatly aided in attachment. Last item is kind of semi-major. The bidet lid will not stay upright long enough to get set down. The lid hits the tank too far forward, even after adjusting the seat bracket as far forward as possible. Kind of a royal pain. Solution is to stick a Velcro patch on the lid and tank. Not pretty, but functional. Otherwise my tush gets a refreshing rinse and saves TP.
