Great bidet seat! It was really easy to setup with the parts provided. Took less than 1 hour. The T-connector provided hooks up at the water tank. We did end up buying a T connector from GenieBidet to connect at the water supply instead of the toilet tank. But that was a personal choice. It is really simple to operate. I use only the forward setting because I like the higher water pressure.

Terrific product, I like the choice of front and back wash. Seat is also quite comfortable.

[Incentivized Review] This thing really "hits the spot"!

My other title idea was "this thing is a bulls eye" but enough with my pathetic attempt at humor. This is the first bidet I have ever owned or even used. How these are not a standard thing in every bathroom in our civilized society is beyond me. I compare this to taking a shower and instead of using water you just wipe yourself down with a dirty towel. The dual function nozzles work great. Installation was easy and everything needed is included. The first time I used this it was a bit of a shock, but now I plan on equipping every bathroom in my house with one. I can only imagine that compared to a dedicated bidet this isn't much but being able to add to existing fixtures is fantastic. I don't know how I have gone so long without really feeling clean like I do using this. Most of my guests ask what it is and I am happy to explain the benefits of having one of these. More then one person has walked out of my bathroom with a wet shirt because they weren't actually sitting on it and were just curious! We have well water and our pressure is not very strong but this thing still puts out a nice strong stream. This is a must have in my opinion.

[Incentivized Review] Works good

This works really well for a non electric bidet. It was easy to install and looks like a regular toilet seat and lid when closed. It has two different spray options. It's easy to use. The only drawback is the the water is not heated. That takes some getting used to but otherwise it's great.

great bidet seat

We got this seat because we had never had a bidet before and had heard great things, so wanted to try one. We decided on this one because it was not electric and we did not have an electric outlet in close proximity to our toilet. It has two nozzles, one supposedly for the front and one for the back, however I don't see much difference between the two. It performs the job well. We live in Florida, so don't have to worry so much about water temperature. I suppose if you live someplace cold, it would be nice to have heated water coming through the system. Overall, we have been very pleased with this purchase and will likely order another one for another bathroom. The only drawback is that the seat only comes in white and our base is an off-white.

[Incentivized Review] Game Changer - For the better!

I had real doubts about this device, but the installation was very simple and within about 15 minutes it was working beautifully. My son put a much more expensive bidet seat on his toilet; it blows air, heats the water and/or the seat and has a remote, but it's much more bulky and it cost $2000. No, that's not a typo, $2000. So I thought this one would be low quality, but it's not. I am so happy with it. And i have to admit it's embarrassingly nice; I'm so surprised how good it feels. You just turn a small lever one way and a spout extends and shoots a gentle stream of water up (that's the "clean" function); turn it the other way a shower squirts out (that's the "bidet" setting). The pictures show some details. It's a soft close lid, too.

[Incentivized Review] A great way to add a Bidet to your bathroom

This is pretty cool. This is the full action of a Bidet in just the toilet seat. Installation is supper easy. Just replace the toilet seat with this Bidet Seat and then hook up the water. I’ve included pictures. Note that they give a paper template to help get the seat mount in the right place. I found it useful. Also note in the picture the black rubber grommets that go into the toilet seat mount holes. These took a little finesse to get into the holes. However, I like that the bolts are separa...

Also note in the picture the black rubber grommets that go into the toilet seat mount holes. These took a little finesse to get into the holes. However, I like that the bolts are separated from the porcelain by a shock absorb grommet. The system came with the t-fitting for splitting the water line. Operation is simple. There is a lever on the side of the seat that has several flow setting. When you turn the flow on, a small sprayer extends from the back of the toilet seat. When the water is turned off, the sprayer retracts. That way it isn’t in the way of doing your business. The one thing to watch out for is you want to make sure you are sitting on the toilet when you turn the flow valve, otherwise it squirts across the bathroom. It is probably not good if you have a 2-year old running around. Otherwise, it’s great, especially if you have a sore bottom or get the runs. It cuts down on toilet paper usage. I like this product and recommend it.

[Incentivized Review] What a Jewel!

I have to admit, at first I had my doubts about this product. I even let it sit in the box about a week before installing the bidet seat. Installation was a snap literally. After securing the seat bracket to my toilet, the seat simply snaps into place. It actually holds in place and doesn't move around, it['s very sturdy which is not what I was expecting. The water line installation was very easy as well. As the instructions state I only had to use my hands to tighten up the waterline to the provided line splitter. I must admit I did give it one small adjustment with a wrench just to feel comfortable that I wouldn't have any water leaks. After installation I tested out how the seat would work and as you can see in the pictures the device works very well. The water pressure is not too high for either the bidet spout or the washer spout. Now, this seat is not electric so the water is going to be room temperature which may be a little surprising at first, but it's actually not bad. This is my first bidet seat in my house and after using this product, I will definitely be placing bidet seats on all of my toilets.

This bidet replaced a similar style non-electric seat from a competing manufacturer. The competitor failed at only 9 months when the wash wands stopped retracting. So far after two months using this American Standard brand I like this bidet and the easy to flip lever for front or back washing is much more ergonomic. The pressure of the wash is also more gentle and preferable. The jury is still up for it's longevity, but I trust the American Standard brand over some of the competition. I recomme...

I recommend this bidet for ease of installation and overall look, and reasonable cost. One tip, however, you must be very careful to align the threading of the connections perfectly to avoid any leaks or misalignment and or stripping of the threaded connections. It's critical that you get this right the first time to avoid stripping the plastic threading. I purchased a second one of these for my guest toilet.

[Incentivized Review] Well performing non-electric bidet seat

The bidet seat is very easy to assemble and install. Everything you need to install comes in the package. It took me around half an hour to setup the whole thing. This bidet seat is a good alternative if you do not have a dedicated electric for installing an electric bidet. The slow closing lid is a nice feature which prevents the lid from slamming onto the seat. Function wise the bidet spray works flawlessly. There are two modes on the knob, one for wash and one for cleaning. I have been using other non electric bidets for years and trust me the water does not feel cold (even with subzero temperatures outside), once you get used to it. A definite must have for a clean and hygienic living.
