Works Well - Comfortable to Sit On and Spray is Strong Enough to do the Job

I bought the original American Standard toilet bidet and this is an improvement. It has a broader, more comfortable seat and the spray at the forward position, all the way down, puts out a strong spray. The adjustable nut insets that go into the porcelain seat won't seem to be tightening and if you are like me you might think you are stripping the plastic, you are not. Keep screwing the bolt down and soon it will wedge in tight. I have an American Standard Cadet toilet and this fits it perfectly, much better than the first version of the bidet. I should mention if you are changing out the first version to this one the water connection to the seat is different so you won't be able to use the old water line. I'm pleased with the result.

[Incentivized Review] Easy to install. Some minor complaints.

The seat was very easy to install. I love that it uses water pressure and not electricity. I would have given 5 stars but the sprayer it not positioned correctly as the front spay setting shoots too much towards the edge and spays through the legs. The seat also takes some patience to keep it in the up position. Maybe a little more pressure on the hinge to make the seat stay upright with greater of ease

[Incentivized Review] Great overall with somewhat simple installation

This is a non-heated, manual bidet that does what it says. It has a simple handle that directs the water at two different angles so you can wash where needed. The seat isn't as comfortable as a regular toilet seat but that's because it's thinner so water doesn't spray underneath the seat. Even though it's winter, I didn't notice a cold temperature from the water because it is getting to room temperature in the hose before using. Other than the bad installation instructions (missing the part about connecting the hose between the new valve and bidet) the product is great!

[Incentivized Review] Trimmed down but does exactly what you'd expect.

Plug and play! No need for an electrical outlet, no need for sophisticated tools to install this seat. You just don't get hot water and a warm seat...which in my opinion...complicates things. Easy to remove for cleaning. Orientation of the spray nozzle is good as well.

Dimensions are the size of the box

It was easy to install. I switched the hose end for end. Started the threads in either end before attaching the fittings. Had to make sure the rubber gasket was in place on the adapter. Other than that it installed easy. Haven't had any function problems in the first two weeks use. I bought this one because it said in the product dimensions that it was 21.1 inches long. Other than that it installed easy. Haven't had any function problems in the first two weeks use. I bought this one because it said in the product dimensions that it was 21.1 inches long. Unfortunately that is the length of the box. I have a Mansfield one piece toilet as you can see in the pictures. As others have said the mechanism makes your elongated toilet into a regular sized toilet. I could have easily accommodated a seat one inch longer. The nozzles come a little farther forward than needed but they work good and if you haven't flushed recently the water is usually not that cold. I would consider trying the retrofit bidet next time as I could use a seat that is the right size without giving up so much space. I don't think the extra height would be a problem as this seat is high in the back anyway. All that being said it had greatly cut down on toilet paper use and is comfortable to sit on once you get used to it.

[Incentivized Review] Good basic model for folks on a budget

I am not super handy so it took me probably a bit more time to install than it might take others. That being said I was able to install it myself! I have tried other bidets at friends’ homes and really liked them. This model does the job, but I miss the heated seat and water aspect of other models. I don’t have an electrical outlet nearby so this was a good compromise. At first it took some adjusting to the colder water and some tweaking to figure out the right position for me. Overall a good starter model for folks on a budget!

Cannot get a better one at this price point - comparison with BB2000

I own a Bio Bidet BB200 for many years. My downstairs toilet does not have a near power outlet, so I have been postponing installing one there for a while. I decided to go with a "cheap" bidet and it was a great decision. Is ti as good as the BB2000? No. Mind that it is 10% of the BB2000 price. Is the BB2000 10x better than this one. No. I would say that this one is a better value for the money than the BB2000. Having said that, it is not perfect, but you can't expect tha...

No. I would say that this one is a better value for the money than the BB2000. Having said that, it is not perfect, but you can't expect that at this price point. Here are the good things about it. + Easy to install + Great price + Works as described and as expected + Fits ok (more on that later) + No need for power + Soft close lid (did not expect it at this price) + Seem durable - had it for 5 months now. What could be better? - My toilet is a Kohler and this seat fits, but just barely. That is, the seat is shorter than the toilet. It would be great if they would offer two different sizes or so. I realize it may create a nightmare as people would order the wrong one. Still, for my toilet, the seat could be about 1.5 inches longer, which would be great. - The nozzles slide in an out, but essentially they have two positions. Full retracted when not in use and fully extended when in use. Also, since there are two of them, each ends up shooting water at a slight angle, rather than straight. You end up getting more wet that you need to and also having to wiggle to make sure the water washes where needed. Of course, this varies with everyone's anatomy. One way to improve would be to have the nozzles replaceable. Then sell shorter or longer or tilted (to a side) nozzles and people would use the ones that fit them best. I think it would not be a major mechanical change. - The seat cover is slow closing (which is great), but the back of the seat gets so close to the tank that the seat cover barely stands straight. This could be unique to my toilet, although I mounted it as far as possible from the tank. Compared to the BB2000 + The lack of warm water or seat warmer is not an issue for us. Granted we live in TX now. It was a godsend in the winters when we lived up North. + Easier to reach an operate than the fancy remote control + Not missing the air dry feature of the BB2000, as I never really though that one work well anyway. + Better seat design than the BB2000. The BB2000 has a sizable gap between the seat and an rim of the toilet. For men, in some cases, it is not unlikely to inadvertently "aim" for that gap when seated, which results in unwanted splashing outside. The Aqua Wash has a larger lip inside that covers said gap. - Miss the adjustable length of the spray nozzle. - The seat is smaller than the BB2000, yet not by much. All in all - great product for the price. I would pay double if the few issues I mentioned would be addressed.

[Incentivized Review] Slim Profile with a Quirk...Works Great!

I jumped at the opportunity to own an all in one Bidet Seat. The slim profile compared to the previous bulky add on bidet is lovely. The toilet lid does automatically lower itself quietly with a quick intial push. The quirk is the design of the seat to hid the large profile toilet attachment. While adjusting the seat with the larger profile attachment may be easier, it is not as pleasing to the eye in addition to a cheaper look compared to my previous seat. While adjusting the seat with the larger profile attachment may be easier, it is not as pleasing to the eye in addition to a cheaper look compared to my previous seat. There is an inside label giving the user instructions, which I have yet to remove. I can tell you in works great! The handle is easy to operate and gives enough pressure based on how high you lift it. Having an option for back only and front only is a bonus! Hubby said installation was a bit longer than he thought it should be as the connection from the bidet has to be adjusted by taking the unit apart since the hex screw at the top did not fit as sent. Overall, it is a good item and I would recommend it to a friend.

[Incentivized Review] Not Impressed

I've never owned or used a bidet until now & I'm not impressed by this one. Pros: Easy to install. The mounting hardware is simple to use. The plumbing parts seem like good quality. Slow close lid & seat are nice. Unexpected: The spray is NOT as shockingly cold as I expected, since this style bidet is unheated. Cons: the seat is not very comfortable and feels cheaply made. It makes noises when you sit down or move while seated. The plastic sounds "stressed". I can't quite describe the creaking noise it makes. After 2 weeks of use I am not impressed with how it works. Its very difficult to position yourself in the correct place on the seat for the nozzle to spray the appropriate area. This bidet does not clean your backside as well as I expected. It is also somewhat difficult to put the lever in the off position. It often continues to drip long after use & the lever needs moved either up or down slightly to stop the dripping. Overall I cannot say I recommend this bidet.

I am comparing this seat to the cheap [$20] "add on" bidet I had before and really liked but looked kinda weird. I am comparing this seat to the cheap [$20] "add on" bidet I had before and really liked but looked kinda weird. I wanted his seat because of the slim footprint that would look less bulky than the add on and from a optical POV this does look much better and the handle is subtle and classy. However there are a lot of functional downsides that I miss from the old one. First is the size of the seat opening which slices 1.5" off the normal length which makes it awkward to sit on, especially for males. The spray wands come out horizontally and miss the mark slightly with the butt one being too far to the right. The jets are very fine and being so close because they come out horizontal not vertically can actually sting somewhat. Despite that discomfort it doesn't always do the job 100% and has to be repeated which I have never had before. This may be due to the offset described above but I expected much more from this expensive purchase and would put my old one back if it was less plumbing hassle to do so. I would not recommend this product and if this was my first bidet attachment I would have given up on the idea.
