I installed this in our master bathroom and we have used it for about a month now. Since my wife often uses flushable wipes, I got this in hopes of eliminating (or at least significantly decreasing) such usage since they can cause plumbing issues (i.e. clogs!). This was super easy to install...took less than 20 minutes. It comes with a cord that when plugged in heats the seat and the water, but you can also use it without plugging it in which is what we've been doing since we don't necessarily care about a heated seat and/or water. It has two directions of spray (a slightly forward direction and a rear [no pun intended!] direction). You simply use the dial/switch on the side to turn on the spray (move it forward for the front area and move it backward for the rear). It also has two flow settings (min, max) for each direction...so you can choose to spray a little or a lot depending on the situation. We absolutely LOVE this product!!! I wasn't sure how much I would actually use it when I got it but I think I use it more than my wife at this point! Lol It's just so easy and convenient to use. It's also self cleaning btw so now worries there, and the lids are self closing so no more accidentally "dropping" the toilet seat! I would definitely encourage people to check this product out. It's high quality and works flawlessly...and it will definitely eliminate or at least save on the use of flushable wipes!!! :) Totally worth it. Thinking about actually getting one for my parents since we love it so much.

The seat was incredibly easy to install, I replaced the old one in about 30 minutes. All of the required hardware is included, all you need is a screwdriver and (maybe) an adjustable wrench (don’t overtighten). The seat was incredibly easy to install, I replaced the old one in about 30 minutes. All of the required hardware is included, all you need is a screwdriver and (maybe) an adjustable wrench (don’t overtighten). It is important to note that you do need to have an electrical outlet nearby. I installed a new one a few weeks ago knowing that I was getting this.
The seat itself is comfortable, but you do lose some sitting room and the opening is smaller compared to the regular toilet seat it replaced, because the back part of the seat that houses the electronics and such take up some of the space. It is also simple to use, there are two buttons on left that toggle through low, medium and off settings for the heated seat temperature and water temperature. The dial on the right controls the water flow and ‘aim’ (forwards for front, back for rear and center for ‘off’). The flow isn’t overpowering, but enough to get you clean, and the water warms almost instantly. The sprayer itself is contained when not it use and has a self cleaning system, while the exterior doesn’t appear to be any more difficult to clean than any other seat. It also has a light that automatically illuminates for nighttime visits. My only complaint would be that the cord could be a little longer. I was able to reach mine on the opposite side, but an extra foot or two would’ve been nice so I could tuck it away better.
In summary, it may seem a little expensive at first, but when you consider what you pay for a night or two at a fancy hotel compared to something like this that will last you for years of use, I think it is totally worth it. It will also save you money on toilet paper (although you’ll still need some to dry off) and have less impact on your pipes and the environment. It will get you cleaner and the seat heater and warm water are an added comfort. Go ahead and get one…your posterior will thank you later.

[Incentivized Review] Best Bidet I've bought For Our Family
one startwo starsthree starsfour starsfive stars
I bought this bidet for my family. It took me 25 Minutes to install it. I ran a plug in box off of one on the other side of the bathroom wall, put in GFI Plug in. Hooking up the water lines were easy and simple as long as you were careful not to cross thread the fittings. We love the water pressure that's adjustable. The heated seat is great.
The built in night light is wonderful at night. My wife couldn't be happier ! The water is heated also. It fit the top of our toilet perfect and the push button removal for cleaning is simple and easy to use. I would definitely buy this bidet again.

[Incentivized Review] Best Bathroom Addition!

Received the product in the mail early afternoon, and had this Spalet bidet seat installed within about 45 minutes after it was delivered. Excellent instructions to guide you for the install. It isn't bulky at all, and looks fine even with the added connections for the water supply. I was a little concerned about the water pressure, but did not have any difficulty with that, as there are two settings, low and high.
I like the heated seat and the added night lite. I would have loved having this seat after the birth of my kids years ago, as it is very soothing, and would be perfect for treating that area. I am very happy with this item, and look forward to seeing how well it lasts!

With this ongoing Amazon discount, and after reading all the reviews I just could not resist. After 2 weeks of daily use, I am overall pretty satisfied with the product's build and ease of use. I would've definitely gotten a TOTO a few years ago but it's out of my price range, so the Slim Two is perfect in its affordability and high quality.
Pros:
- Easy installation
- Great sturdy build, especially the heated seat; no creaking/squeaky noises at all
- Remote control (I was initially going for the Slim One (without remote), but the Slim Two (with remote) was less expensive and it's also very nice to not have to twist around to reach the console on non-wireless models); also, the remote comes with a wall mounted dock which you can stick onto the wall with the included adhesive (included) or use screws (not included).
- Pressure options and nozzle positioning is perfect -- I don't understand why some users have reported problems. Perhaps your hose connection is not secure or the emitter is blocked? Also, Turbo Mode pressure is TOO strong -- I still haven't found the need to use this mode. It's so strong that it causes spray-back and leaves the back of the seat with water beads.
- Nightlight (though turning it off is not intuitive at all (the "+" button requires a long press of 3 seconds). The nightlight should be light sensitive, triggered by a proximity sensor or simply redesign the remote to include a dedicated nightlight button).
- The water heater works great; lasts more than 60 seconds. The water is not scalding hot, but hot enough for a thorough cleanse. IMO, 30-60 seconds is optimal for a thorough cleanse unless you have a really wide area to work on in which case you double press "wash" to activate oscillation for a wide clean.
- Easy installation guide (everyone writes that no guide or manual is included -- my order came with two manuals: a regular installation guide and a quick start guide).
- Toilet paper use and expenditure is cut in half. Only need a small bit for dabbing excess water. Very nice!
Cons:
- I needed to purchase a hose reducer to fit the hose nut over the water connection. It was under $5 at Home Depot.
- The nightlight could be easier to turn on/off (see above).
- The remote interface design is NOT good -- I think BioBidet could take some design cues from TOTO or INAX on good UI design for their remote and also make one universal remote for all their similarly featured models
- When I opened the box and pulled the seat out, residual water dribbled out the hose and unit and spilled all over me which was odd because it is a new, unrefurbished model (or is it?) Very strange -- but the unit looks and smells brand new at least so I'm not overly concerned.
- I know this is beside the point, but the BioBidet logo needs a total brand overhaul. The typeface used in the words "Bidet" looks like it can't breathe and is squished together, while the "Bio" typeface is relaxed and well-spaced. Consistency will reposition the brand to reflect the brand's high quality products.
Overall: At the sale price of $189, I think EVERYONE should have one of these. You will feel super clean after seconds of washing. When I lift off the seat, I feel so clean while everyone else is walking around with dirty, poo-smeared butts. Yuck! Go get one now!
Update (October 31, 2018): Now that the weather is cooler, I can understand why the heated seat function is such a helpful feature. It never occurred to me previously just how much temperature affects parts of your body, but now I find that I am more relaxed when the seat is warm and can finish my business faster. It's like when you jump into the cold ocean and everything clams up , the same is true when you sit on an ice cold toilet seat -- it just takes forever to peek out and if you don't get to finish your business, you feel backed up and miserable. In the past, I used to think a warm seat would feel kind of gross (like it was just used by someone) but now that I am more relaxed when I sit down, I just can't go on without this feature. I think it helps you achieve regularity.
Update (September 30, 2018): After 30 days of daily use, I would highly recommend the SLIM TWO. The seat is very high quality in terms of construction and function and you will feel so much CLEANER!
Update (July 1, 2019): BioBidet Customer Service is top notch.
Update (August 12, 2021): The second lid replacement suffered the same fate and the hydraulic right hinge broke again. There is no way to fix it since the plastic bit disintegrates and pulverizes into a hundred pieces. I think BioBidet should find a better material that can withstand the test of frequent opening/closing. Other than the hinge issue (which is not a problem with our Toto), the Slim Two is a great deal. But after reading multiple other reviews citing the same hinge quality issue, I may likely switch to the higher quality Toto C200 which I have in another room and has experienced absolutely no issues.

I'm a 70 year old lady who lives alone and didn't want to pay a plumber. Lucky for me, I didn't need to. Instructions along with the video proved to be all I needed. Everything hooked up, with no leaks and the plate lined up well and I am proud of myself for the accomplishment. The only thing that I didn't know was that the plug is on the right side if you're facing the toilet and my outlet is on the left side, so I'll have another outlet installed. meanwhile I had to carry it over the back of the toilet to plug it in. I love the night light, the
warm water and the various water pressure controls. I think I'm going to enjoy it so much that I won't ever be without one. Love it!
I am so excite to own this Bidet Seat! It was easy for my husband to install in about 30 minutes! We had to get a electrical outlet for the power cord! Can I just say it was worth the wait! I love the heated seat! The spray nozzle sprays warm water in the right spot and is adjustable for the amount of pressure you want! The light shines in the toilet it makes a great night light! The construction of the seat is very well made! I wish I had one for all my bathrooms!

Unusably low water pressure. My excitement when I received my AQUAWASH 2.0 SPALET ELECTRIC BIDET SEAT FOR ELONGATED TOILET IN WHITE by American Standard was extinguished at first use. I have used bidets since my first shoulder surgery years ago and love them. I have had two inexpensive add on bidets on my current toilet with no issues and great pressure. This relatively expensive version has water pressure to low to be effective at all. The seat warmer and warm water option is nice, if you have a power supply near the toilet, but due to the low pressure it is unusable.

This is the second bidet that I own, and I have to say that, right from the get go, I am not impressed with the AquaWash 2.0 SpaLet. Most of my problems were in the installation, but I do have two other issues that are bringing the rating of this bidet down to a solid 3.0.
First, installation: The seat uses a base plate with two sliding plates for each hole on the toilet. This is just how my other bidet attaches as well, as the electronics and water works for the bidet sit directly above the bolts. I don't think I've ever had so much difficulty getting a seat lined up properly. The sliding plates slide around, the base plate slides around and all in all it was rather tiring and took about 20 minutes just to get this thing situated in the right spot.
However, the real issues started with the hose and the attachments. The included hose is stiff as a brick and the compression connectors at either end might as well be coated in oil. I don't know why AquaWash couldn't use thumbscrews like every other connection to a toilet. The instructions do not say if you should use a wrench, but I was forced to as there was simply no way to tighten the connectors. Once I had them on there, I realized I had made a mistake... both of the connectors had cross-threaded and were sitting crooked. I took them off, and realized just how cheaply made this product is: the hose connections on the T adapter and the bidet itself are plastic, and because of the cross-threading, where now damaged. Shaking my head, I re-connected the hoses very slowly, using as little torque with the wrench as possible and pulling very hard on the hose to get it align straight. I was successful in threading the second time, but this issue would not have arisen if the hose was more limber or the connectors were a higher quality plastic.
Second, Use: I discovered that the electrical cord for the bidet was 1" too short to reach the outlet... forcing me to run it up and over the toilet instead of down and under and out of the way. It looks terrible.
The other issue I have, and this very well maybe the end of this bidet: it emits a very high pitched beep when in use that continues to ring until it's turned back off. It is very irritating, but only comes on sometimes. Occasionally it just beeps a single chime and that's it.
Last, in closing: I am so far not impressed with this bidet. I will use it for a short while, as it does appear to give decent pressure and leaves you "feeling fresh". However, I'm not sure its worth the eye sore of the dangling power cord, or the headache of the beeping.
It does have pressure control for the water, seat heat and water heat.

My urologist and infectious disease Drs recommended a bidet bc rare resistance bacteria in my cultures,UTI. I had BIDET in European home but never in USA. Way underutilized we all need bidets, cuts down on toilet paper, recurrent infections, less need for baby wipes& Hibiclens and HYGEA. Still use them after bidet but b4 bidet use several to clean. This bidet is amazing. Comes in round& elongated. Very seriously recommend as a board certified family physician and VERY SATISFIED PATIENT. REASONABLE COSTS!!
