We put it on the wall near the toilet paper holder. Some reviews and comparison articles note that this bidet has a lower water pressure than some others. Personally, I nearly always use the lowest pressure setting. The highest pressure is all I can ever conceive of needing. I can't imagine the 'firehose' of some of those other bidets.  Read Less

Pros: This item was a fantastic find!! We decided to purchase the Brondell Swash 1400 after reading reviews and deciding if we were going to try a bidet, it may as well be the Cadillac of bidets. We couldn't be happier so far with this purchase! Starting with the heated seat, to the easy and very functional remote, front and back sprayers, and warm blow dryer, one will find themselves in the lap of luxury in their own bathroom. Pros: This item was a fantastic find!! We decided to purchase the Brondell Swash 1400 after reading reviews and deciding if we were going to try a bidet, it may as well be the Cadillac of bidets. We couldn't be happier so far with this purchase! Starting with the heated seat, to the easy and very functional remote, front and back sprayers, and warm blow dryer, one will find themselves in the lap of luxury in their own bathroom. Only once have I had this same feeling when the original iPhone came out and I experieced what it could do and that all the functionality was exactly where it should be in one place. That's what I'm talking about!! The Swash 1400 does it all and more importantly it does it well! What sold me was an article describing the bidet. Would you wash your hands with a paper towel or would you wash you hands? In this case, why use you hands??!! Thank You for the excellent product and we look forward to the water filters that we ordered to arrive soon. Cons: We did have to install an outlet near the toilet, luckily we were able to come off from the shower light/fan switch.  Read Less
