New to bidets

This is our first bidet. I have never felt so clean and fresh. This model has all the features anyone could want and probably more than needed. The remote is very easy to understand, but like others have said, it would be nice for it to be backlit. The buttons are raised, so that is not a real obstacle. One of my favorite features is that the deodorizer turns on immediately when you sit down and runs for a minute after you get up. The first water that comes out is a bit cooler than the temperature you have set, not cold, but it warms up quickly. My husband and I are very glad we purchased it. Happy bideting!

The Best

We've had our Clean Sense dib-1500R Bidet Seat, with Remote Control, since March 26, 2018. We love it. It is simple to use with settings for seat and water temperature, as well as the water stream force. This has "bidet", "wash", and "enema" nozzles and even a setting for children. What a wonderful "clean" feeling you get as the blow dryer and built-in air freshener completes your experience. We wished that we had this years ago. It is well constructed, easy to install (everything comes with-it), and it is easy to clean. Don't wait another day to buy yours.

All the features we wanted at a great price!

I'd wanted a washlet for a while, and my husband, after a business trip to Korea, wound up wanting one as well. I had assumed one with all the features that make a washlet worth it would cost over a grand, so it was kind of just a "someday!" wishlist thing. When I came across this Clean Sense bidet though, my husband and I were both really excited that we could get something with a heated seat, heated water, multiple wash functions, a drier, soft-close seat, air filter, AND a pretty cool-lookin...

I had assumed one with all the features that make a washlet worth it would cost over a grand, so it was kind of just a "someday!" wishlist thing. When I came across this Clean Sense bidet though, my husband and I were both really excited that we could get something with a heated seat, heated water, multiple wash functions, a drier, soft-close seat, air filter, AND a pretty cool-looking remote panel for basically 1/3 what we had expected a Toto to run us. It works great, and in the 3 months we've had it, both of us hate having to use the bathroom when not a home. We trek all the way up 3 flights of stairs in our townhouse just to use the washlet in our master bath instead of the other bathrooms! The wash function keeps everyone feeling clean, the bidet function is a godsend for ladies (great for certain times of the month, as well as before and after, say, romantic evenings!), and the enema has more than enough power and adjustability to speed things up... The drying function works pretty well, although it does take a while and I never feel totally dry. I wish the water was heated as soon as it comes on, but both of us have gotten used to bracing for a bit of a cold squirt at first. The seat heater's lowest setting still makes me uncomfortably hot after sitting there for a while, but it's better than dealing with an icy seat when you first sit down! I turn it off if it starts to get too hot for comfort -- I am not sure how anyone could stand the higher settings though! Even with the few little quirks, this baby is definitely something we can never go back to living without, and it's a very affordable way to add some serious hygenic luxury to what are usually fairly mundane or unpleasant parts of everyone's day.

You'll never look back

I had been considering getting a bidet for quite some time as all of the people in my family who have one could not stop raving about them. Well, I finally bit the bullet and made the purchase and now I am one of those people raving about my bidet. I bought a bidet attachment for the guest bedroom and the CLEAN SENSE DIB-1500R for our bathroom. The DIB 1500-R was more pricey than the attachment but for the air filter, remote control, pulse, and many more features, it is worth every penny. When compared to other bidet's in the same class it outprices them all! I can't recommend getting a bidet and especially this bidet strongly enough!

Mixed bag

I've had this seat for a little over 3 years now...for the most part, it has done its job. I also have a SWASH1000 that is about a year older, and an Alpha JX that is a year newer, so we have a little clean behind experience ;) Positives: Good pressure, warm seat, nice remote (although it goes through batteries the fastest). Water heater has been good and consistent (the water heater on died on the JX after about 3 months). Negatives: Seat cracked in the first 12 months - not so much it has bee...

Water heater has been good and consistent (the water heater on died on the JX after about 3 months). Negatives: Seat cracked in the first 12 months - not so much it has been unusable, but the other two have had no issues. What I presume is the 'deodorizing fan' started sounding like a jet taking off when first seated about 18 months in...and that has gotten worse over time. The dryer is nigh on useless, and clearly the weakest of the 3 units we have. While not a review of the SWASH seat - the S1000 is our oldest, and still going strong. No failures, no complaints!

Quality and value at a great price point... ONE YEAR UPDATE!!! updated 2024

A great price. and a great value. Came with everything needed for hookup and more. They provided every part for any possible situation. The unit works great. It adjusts to every situation. I'm 250lb and it feels very sturdy, able to hold my weight and more. The seat is constructed and not a one piece unit. I would recommend this to a friend and I would buy this again. I'm sold on these. *** Over a year later: and the exhaust fan is starting to make a grating noise. I think the housing has somehow twisted. If you torque the housing to the side you can get it to temporarily stop making noise. It sounds like a fan blade is hitting the side of the housing. The unit as a whole still works fine, it just makes a grating noise. I've been through 6 or more sets of AA battery sets since I installed this unit. It uses a set of batteries in a few months. It takes some extra work to clean properly. There is a mechanism under the back of the bowl that requires attention to get things nice and sanitary. You have to get right in there and under the back edge to get it properly cleaned. Other than that, this is still working fine and I'm pleased with the unit. I will replace this unit when it wears out with the same unit. Being mechanical, it will wear out some day. All machines do wear out in time. 2024: Still using this without any issue. I will replace this unit with the same unit if it's still available when I decide to replace. This one does everything you need.

Had all the features at a great price

"so here's the scoop. i did about a month of research before i bought one and learned a few things. when you shop for an electronic bidet seat, you're basically paying for extra features. almost all the seats on the market today come with what ill call 'the basics'. front and rear washes with position/temp adjustment, heated seat, soft close lid, and enema function. 'the basics' are pretty much standard on all bidet seats on the market. inax, bio bidet, toto, coco, cleansense, everything. then c...

Happt with the bidet, but some small things…

"This was my first experience with a bidet and am very pleased with my purchase. The 1500R has so many great functions and adjustments to make sure you get the pressure, locations of streams, temperatures of the water and the seat and even the blow dryer. Although I'm very happy with the seat I have a few small complaints. The first shot of water is kind of cold but warms up rather quickly. It would be nice if the remote control panel was illuminated. Although I'm very happy with the seat I have a few small complaints. The first shot of water is kind of cold but warms up rather quickly. It would be nice if the remote control panel was illuminated. When the blow dryer has completed it's 3 minute run I'm still not dry as I feel that I should be. I don't think the deoderizer works very well. After about six months of use there seems to be some discoloration of some small spots on top of the seat, not sure if the heated seat and the coating on top of it are compatible. I would recomend buying the filters to keep any foriegn material from possibly clogging the nozzles especially if you have well water. Overall I'm happy with being bidet clean and knowing that I am totally clean. My wife was not too sure about such a purchase but I can say that she really likes it also and wants another for our second bathroom."

Awesome Awesome. A must buy.

I love it. It was very easy to install. The fratures are very nice and the reviews are true about getting the same features you will find in $600.00 dollar units. I would also use teflon tape when installing to ensure a tight seal. It is also true that you will use less toilet paper. I also stopped buying the sanitary wipes so that saves me 6 bucks a month. I do get the reviews about wishing the remote had a light, frequent use will guide you to your user settings in the dark :). Just make...

It does come with one carbon filter for the fan air filter built into the unit. I would buy the water filter for the unit as god knows what is in the water you are spraying into your bleeep. Enjoy this unit, best purchase i made. And no you are not literaly flushing your money down the toilet, this unit is worth it unlike my IPad. My wife also loves it as she was not a fan at first. Now she cant wait to use it.

I thought that a powered bidet could replace my unpowered one.

I bought a unpowered, warm water, bidet years ago. There is nothing wrong with it and I cleaned it up and installed it on another less used toilet. Because I bought this so called upgrade powered bidet with lots of bells and whistles. When I was installing the new one , I saw it had a bigger water hose to it and I was excited, I have no clue why now. I installed the seat unit and found it doesn't quite fit the bowl, the unit is against the toilet tank and seat and bowl will not line up correctly...

Because I bought this so called upgrade powered bidet with lots of bells and whistles. When I was installing the new one , I saw it had a bigger water hose to it and I was excited, I have no clue why now. I installed the seat unit and found it doesn't quite fit the bowl, the unit is against the toilet tank and seat and bowl will not line up correctly, it needs to go back at least 2 inches. My first let down, but it still works, sort of. I got it plugged in and the biggest disappointment showed itself. The water was warm, the remote works great, no clue why I need a seat warmer. The air freshener is just plain silly. The air dry is nice and warm fast. BUT, The water pressure TOTALLY SUCKS, In wash/bidet/enema modes!!!! I spent too much money on this JUNK, AND NOW IM STUCK WITH IT!!! Instead of it utilizing the water pressure from the cold water pipe, it slows down the water and uses a pathetic water pump instead. WHAT A JOKE!!!!! I thought I could get used to it, but I was wrong!!! It's like a pathetic water pik on my butt. The adjustable nozzle is just ok, it could use a lot more movement. The massage feature is a JOKE. The pulse feature is the only thing that gets me clean..... Well sort of.... Now with the unit positioned all the way back against the toilet tank, I can't lean back against the seat lid , without it wanting to break, totally stupid!!!! My girlfriend says she likes it , but the water pressure is still a huge issue for her too. Two stars for hot water and air and remote. Also the remote desperately needs a backlight for when you don't want to turn on the lights in the middle of the night. THIS BIDET IS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!
