We purchased this as a less expensive bidet after purchasing the Bio Bidet 2000. We were expecting it to be good but not quite as good. Comparing it to Spray Liotta (Our Bio Bidet 2000), Squirt Reynolds (Our Clean Sense dib-1500R) offers equal cleaning power. Also Spray Liotta gets too hot on the drying cycle whereas Squirt Reynolds blower function does not heat up like a hair dryer. We would be happy to have 2 of either, but since this one was less expensive it's definitely a greater value. Also, the pressure is minutely lower, but it makes up for this by having a better coverage area in massage mode.

Nice Bidet Seat

This seat has a lot of great features for the price. The elongated seat however, loses quite a bit of space to accommodate the bidet parts. It is still very comfortable. The remote is easy to see and use. The water power is more than adequate for cleaning and the pulse and massage features are useful.
Setting up user profiles is a little clunky but once you get everything adjusted and set, the process is pretty simple. I have no complaints so far. Very happy with my purchase.

I had been considering getting a bidet for quite some time as all of the people in my family who have one could not stop raving about them. The DIB 1500-R was more pricey than the attachment but for the air filter, remote control, pulse, and many more features, it is worth every penny. When compared to other bidet's in the same class it outprices them all! I can't recommend getting a bidet and especially this bidet strongly enough!

This is my first "fancy" bidet purchase. Prior to this we owned a non-electric bidet that hooked into the hot and cold.
I wanted a Toto but the model I wanted did not come in the round bowl configuration. This CleanSense had everything I wanted (honestly, more than I wanted) and a great price.
Installation was fine; I should have paid more attention to the cord length and location though. It comes out of the right side of the machine. If it came from the left side I wouldn't need to use a powe...

The heated seat, remote control, "massage" feature and warm air dryer are lovely. The CleanSense has less blasting power than my old non-electric bidet but that's okay; this one is more comfortable to use and offers plenty of pressure for perfect results. It also offers a more precise stream than the old one did.
But... Within about two months of ownership it developed a rattle when the water pump ran. I let that go because the rattle was annoying but everything still worked fine. Then the heater for the warm air dryer broke. Not good. I contacted Bidet King for help and they directed me to the manufacturer. CleanSense offered responsive customer support and we did some troubleshooting via email. They sent me replacement parts (a new water pump and a fuse) which I will install shortly. It should be noted that they offered the option of me shipping the whole thing off for repair; I opted to do the repairs myself. Hopefully this will be the end of problems and I do have to again offer compliments to CleanSense customer service. That all being said, given the questionable quality of this unit I can't help but wonder if the more expensive Toto might have been worth it.

I have Ankylosing Spondylitis, and the fusion in my spine has progressed to the point that I can no longer reach my backside. to offer a little TMI, I had to change my underwear several times a day, or jump in the shower after every trip to the "Loo"...The Clean Sense Bidet has changed all that! I am amazed at how clean I stay, and would reccomend a bidet for everyone! I did lots of research on Bidet's (what is Plural for Bidet?), and feel that the clean sense has the best set of features for the money. It uses a tankless water heater, so it does not run out of heated water, the heated seat is great for those cold nights, and to be explicit, it has a bidet mode for feminine wash, a clean mode for the backside with plenty of power, and the enema mode is great for getting that "itch" you don't want to scratch in public...I don't use them much, but it even has a pulse mode, and a massage mode. To keep the nozzle clean, there is a self clean rinse, which runs both on start, and on finish.
Remote control:
Is a bit large, but how often are you holding other things while taking care of business? It is well laid out with an LCD panel to show you what is happening. It even has a clock! It only took a few minutes of sitting on the throne, and playing with the buttons to learn how to use it. AND, to help you learn all the functions, it comes with a plastic laminated card that you can leave in the sink :) All of the features include multiple settings for personalized comfort - Water temp, Seat temp, Air Dry Fan Speed, Position, Massage, and Mode can all be adjusted for your driving pleasure. It also has personal settings for up to four people ( I am the only user, so I have not used this feature) It also comes with a mounting bracket for the remote, but I just set mine on the counter top.
Looks:
IT actually looks quite sleek with a blue night light that turns red when the seat is warm. The lid wraps around the seat, and you never have to worry about slamming it, just pull and walk away, it gently lowers the lid for you.
Installation:
The box has everything in it that you need to install, and the instructions are easy to understand. I am a mechanical "klutz", and I was able to install it by myself in about 45 minutes. the only tools needed were a screw driver and a channel lock pliers.
CONS:
Power Cord is too short.
No inline water filter (some vendors include this, and removing the minerals will prolong the life of the device), so be sure to ask for one when you order.
Single spray nozzle, this is more of a feature than a con. It works very well, and there is no problem getting full coverage.
PRO:
Price/feature ratio is a GREAT buy for your money
It has plenty of pressure to get you clean...
I know I went on a bit, I think I covered everything...I reccomend the Clean Sense bidet 100%

-Loved the massage function for normal use.
-Seat heater worked well...I only used it in the winter because warm humid seats in Nebraska are less fun in the summer.
-Water heater was reliable, but occasionally there would be like a loss in pressure enough that you would hear it, but not feel it...but then a few seconds later you would get some water that was warmer, but would be back to normal quickly.
-Comfortable seat. Loved that the sensor protected any accidents from cat playing with the remote...or visiting children.
Where it all went bad was two day ago. I was watching TV from my living room and I heard a BUZZ. Not any normal buzz, but loud enough that I thought it came from the utility closet and sounded like a mad scientist playing with electro gizmos. Scared me half to death. I started to get up to investigate as did my cat, looking into the bathroom. Then there was another equally loud electro buzz. My cat staring into the bathroom jumped back. By the time I got there and looked around the light on top was of the seat was off. I unplugged it. Plugged it in a day later and no activity at all. It dead. Super disappointed for the price. Effectively $22 a month (considering sales tax). That's more than my all my streaming internet services. I figured 1.5 years, one use per day (I live alone), that's 66 cents a use.
I can't really say I would buy another on that alone. Add to the fact that say the electro buzz managed to start its own plastic or wiring on fire, it could be much more expensive.

I thought that a powered bidet could replace my unpowered one.
one startwo starsthree starsfour starsfive stars
I bought a unpowered, warm water, bidet years ago. There is nothing wrong with it and I cleaned it up and installed it on another less used toilet. Because I bought this so called upgrade powered bidet with lots of bells and whistles.
When I was installing the new one , I saw it had a bigger water hose to it and I was excited, I have no clue why now.
I installed the seat unit and found it doesn't quite fit the bowl, the unit is against the toilet tank and seat and bowl will not line up correctly...

I installed the seat unit and found it doesn't quite fit the bowl, the unit is against the toilet tank and seat and bowl will not line up correctly, it needs to go back at least 2 inches. My first let down, but it still works, sort of.
I got it plugged in and the biggest disappointment showed itself. The water was warm, the remote works great, no clue why I need a seat warmer. The air freshener is just plain silly. The air dry is nice and warm fast.
BUT, The water pressure TOTALLY SUCKS, In wash/bidet/enema modes!!!!
I spent too much money on this JUNK, AND NOW IM STUCK WITH IT!!! Instead of it utilizing the water pressure from the cold water pipe, it slows down the water and uses a pathetic water pump instead. WHAT A JOKE!!!!!
I thought I could get used to it, but I was wrong!!! It's like a pathetic water pik on my butt. The adjustable nozzle is just ok, it could use a lot more movement. The massage feature is a JOKE. The pulse feature is the only thing that gets me clean..... Well sort of....
Now with the unit positioned all the way back against the toilet tank, I can't lean back against the seat lid , without it wanting to break, totally stupid!!!!
My girlfriend says she likes it , but the water pressure is still a huge issue for her too.
Two stars for hot water and air and remote.
Also the remote desperately needs a backlight for when you don't want to turn on the lights in the middle of the night.
THIS BIDET IS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!
