Took me about 25 minutes to install and I didn't need any tools other than a pair of pliers to install the T connector to my water supply. You need to make sure you have enough room on the right hand side for the control arm and a GFC outlet nearby to plug the unit directly into- you cannot use a power strip. Took me about 25 minutes to install and I didn't need any tools other than a pair of pliers to install the T connector to my water supply. You need to make sure you have enough room on the right hand side for the control arm and a GFC outlet nearby to plug the unit directly into- you cannot use a power strip. Also, the seat was a little larger than my toilet as if my toilet is a small size and the bidet is made to fit a larger toilet but it works fine anyway. The bidet seat hole overhangs the toilet bowl by an inch or so but this did NOT cause any issues of water leaking down the side of bowl as I imagined might be the case. The bidet feels like a top-line model and comes with all the bells and whistles you could want including heated seat, heated air dryer, controls to adjust the water power and also movement of the water spray nozzle with a neat "move" button that makes the nozzle move back and forth to clean a larger area. There is a lot of thought into sanitation built into this model such as electrolyzed water and self-cleaning functions to keep things sanitary which is a big plus for female use (I'm a male). You don't think about that until you start using one and those bases are covered on this model. Comes with a real instruction manual which tells me this product is backed by a large manufacturer and seems to be an established brand with customer support here in the U.S. It ships with a large plastic brail diagram of the control arm so that says a lot about this company's standards of customer support. It's worth every penny. If Apple made a bidet toilet seat, I can imagine it would look a lot like this, except the control arm would be an app on your phone. lol. Very happy with this purchase.
