I installed this in our master bathroom and we have used it for about a month now. I installed this in our master bathroom and we have used it for about a month now. Since my wife often uses flushable wipes, I got this in hopes of eliminating (or at least significantly decreasing) such usage since they can cause plumbing issues (i.e. clogs!). This was super easy to install...took less than 20 minutes. It comes with a cord that when plugged in heats the seat and the water, but you can also use it without plugging it in which is what we've been doing since we don't necessarily care about a heated seat and/or water. It has two directions of spray (a slightly forward direction and a rear [no pun intended!] direction). You simply use the dial/switch on the side to turn on the spray (move it forward for the front area and move it backward for the rear). It also has two flow settings (min, max) for each direction...so you can choose to spray a little or a lot depending on the situation. We absolutely LOVE this product!!! I wasn't sure how much I would actually use it when I got it but I think I use it more than my wife at this point! Lol It's just so easy and convenient to use. It's also self cleaning btw so now worries there, and the lids are self closing so no more accidentally "dropping" the toilet seat! I would definitely encourage people to check this product out. It's high quality and works flawlessly...and it will definitely eliminate or at least save on the use of flushable wipes!!! :) Totally worth it. Having been a toilet paper user for 49 years (minus the 2 'wipes' years as a baby) this is a welcome change. I've only had it since last night but (butt) I can see this being a game changer. While this may not completely eliminate the need for toilet paper it's certainly going to decrease the amount used. In this day and time where TP is hoarded this will be incredibly helpful. Having been a toilet paper user for 49 years (minus the 2 'wipes' years as a baby) this is a welcome change. I've only had it since last night but (butt) I can see this being a game changer. While this may not completely eliminate the need for toilet paper it's certainly going to decrease the amount used. In this day and time where TP is hoarded this will be incredibly helpful. It'll take time to get used to a cool blast of water aimed at your rectum/anus? I don't which one it is. The strength of the spray is adjustable as you turn the dial. That's important since at full power you're going to be feeling this all the way into your colon. Next, it actually feels good and I mean in a sort of satisfying way. I've never had a rectal exam at a urologist office that warranted me to welcome the experience. Right now I'm looking forward to my next poop. As I said, the spray can be really strong which actually creates a bit of a splash or "dew" that settles right behind me on the top surface of the toilet seat. I supposed if I rode it back far enough that wouldn't likely happen. I just placed a hand towel on the top of the toilet water basin and intend to do a quick wipe after each visit to the toilet. Will likely change that out every few days. I wouldn't consider this a hygiene issue since the typical use of no cleaning between toilet visits is certainly not a better alternative and I'd be shocked if anyone "cleans" the toilet seat after each use. Being a man I have no need to clean my front so I have no personal experience with that function. All I know is when you aim for the front (turn dial left instead of right) you can tell that the angle of the spray adjusts in that direction. My wife said when she tried it last night it wasn't really aimed in the right direction. I told her to try adjusting her seated position and she said it worked well. I guess she's been sitting incorrectly on the toilet for 49 years. In conclusion this seems to be great product and I'm going to order two more for the other bathrooms in the house. Read Less

Easy to install, took me approx 35 min .With one exception that i think could use an improvement.The tee connector that attaches to to water supply is plastic and if someone is not careful, you could cross the threads and make the fitting useless. The features that this seat offers are fantastic. Heated water and heated and lighted seat are well made and easily controlled. The water spay is very effective for both front and rear and works well. My wife has been using this for the last 2 weeks... Read More

The water spay is very effective for both front and rear and works well. My wife has been using this for the last 2 weeks and is very happy with the results. I would recommend that to anyone who who would like the cleaning that it offers. My only advice to American Standard is that the price could be a little lower and i think more people would get the benefit of using this product.  Read Less
