Design-wise, looks great. The way the seat acts as a switch when you sit on it is smart but throws off the feel when you sit. Wish it had a heated seat too.

Excellent Entry Model

Pros: Affordable, Essential Features, Easy to detach for cleaning, Relatively easy install, High quality parts Cons: Seat sensor can be easy to trigger off, The plastic flap stains Overall a solid entry model that has worked well. Electronics failed (controls and jet stream became erratic) eventually after 2 years of daily use but you figure it's something you would rather replace more frequently than hang on to too long.

[Incentivized Review] Great Seat!

This product was very easy to install. I was able to install it in under 30 minutes. All the fittings fit perfectly. This seat installed perfectly with the hardware provided. Nothing was needed in order to make the seat work, however the electrical access may be an issue in any given bathroom. I did have to obtain an extension cord to make the electrical connection. The seat does not come equipped with a dryer or a heated seat function, however it does have three levels of water temperature control. This is a great option. Warm water on a cold day is a game changer. The nozzle is stainless steel. The sprayer does not have a timed cycle. The sprayer will run until you hit the stop button. The water does not oscillate, however it does spray in a front or rear position which ever you choose. It also has three levels of regulated pressure which is a must. The seat is equipped with a sensor which will not allow water to flow unless it is depressed. You can extend the wand for cleaning, however if the sensor is not depressed it will not spray water. Lastly is that it has a UV sanitation option that activates automatically once every 24 hours to kill any germs or bacteria. I thought that was a cool feature. I like this seat a lot, and would recommend it to anyone who was interested. I will give you some negative points I have observed. The seat sits at a forward angle, I don't know if thats negative or if it just takes some getting used to. If you have a small bathroom sometimes you may have a tendency to sit on the closed lid. This may not be good due to the plastic construction and the forward angle. Don't sit on the closed lid. This product is made in China.

[Incentivized Review] A Welcomed Addition to Any Bathroom

Per Kohler's installation manual this bidet requires a 120 volt 15 amp dedicated line with a 15 amp GFCI outlet placed within 32 ins. of the bidet seat. I don't have that. I also don't have an attic and I don't have a basement. Installing this line will require a few hours in a 3 ft. high, dirt floor, crawl space. Currently there's 6 ins. of snow on the ground, it's 22 degrees and windy. I ain't gonna do it, not now. In the spring I'll do a proper installation but for now this is getting powered...

In the spring I'll do a proper installation but for now this is getting powered up with a 12 ga. 20 amp extension cord plugged into a 15 amp GFCI outlet in the next room. The installation of the seat is very simple, the only tools you'll need are a flat head screwdriver and an adjustable wrench or a pair of pliers . Remove the old seat, clean and disinfect the bowl, screw down the new mounting bracket and snap on the seat. The mounting bracket has a large range of adjustability to get the seat positioned just right. The water connection is done with the supplied chromed metal "T" fitting placed between the supply line and the toilet tank. The water feed from the bidet screws onto this fitting. Plug in the power cord and you're done. They also included a supply line, from the tank to the "T" fitting, in the event yours is iffy. I replaced a non-electric bidet seat and was able to reuse the old "T" fitting. The seat has a built-in safety switch which disables all function until it senses weight on the right side of the seat. The LED control panel has four touch sensitive pressure pads. STOP (no explanation needed), FRONT (three selectable levels of pressure), REAR (three selectable levels of pressure) and WATER TEMP (three unnamed water temperatures) For cleaning purposes the seat is easily removed from its mounting bracket with a push of a button. If required, the self-cleaning stainless steel retractable spray wand can be cleaned manually with a soft bristled brush and hot water. There's also a 45 minute UV disinfecting cycle which activates automatically once every 24 hours. My well water has a high sediment content, I have filters throughout the house, thankfully Kohler included a removable filter screen to trap the contaminates before they reach the water reservoir. The seat's a pleasure to use. No more icy cold water, although, that was an eye opener first thing on a winter morning. I lived in Europe where bidets are a common fixture and I can assure you that once you own one you'll appreciate this appliance. Kohler includes a 3 year limited warranty from the date of installation for normal residential use.
