We've had this installed for less than two weeks. This is the next to lowest model bidet function toilet seat that Kohler offers. Primary difference over the lower model is that this seat warms the water so you won't get a cold surprise in use. It has an ultraviolet feature for disinfecting, but I can't say how well it works. It fits fine on our Kohler Cimarron elongated one-piece toilet. The installation on the toilet does not require much expertise. All of the fittings and hardware needed to install it are included in the box. The addition of an electrical outlet to serve it requires more expertise. If it is new construction, it should be really easy; existing construction adds complexity. Regarding functionality, this is our first experience with these types of products and we are very satisfied so far. The spritz is aimed accurately. You can adjust the pressure and temperature of the spritz on the little control panel attached to the seat. In the next fancier seat, the control panel is located closer to the front. All bidet type seats share the issue of more surfaces to keep clean. The seat is easy to remove from it's mount for cleaning -- if you can remember where the tiny trigger button is -- but will still be tethered to the electrical outlet and the water supply so it doesn't really disconnect entirely from the toilet. We can't say yet how much of a problem this will be. These products don't fit on anything but elongated toilets. You lose some of the elongated bowl's real estate because the mechanism pushes the opening a bit forward.
[Incentivized Review] Constant hot water - never runs out
We have 3 electric bidets, so I am very familiar with installing them. What I love about this model is that it has all the plumbing connections needed to install without the need for a plumber. The water supply simply connects in line with the existing supply line, making hooking up the water a real breeze. There is one glaring omission from this bidet, and that is it does not have a heated seat. This is the first bidet we have owned that did not have this feature. Some of the higher end seats...
Some of the higher end seats also have a fan that extracts unwanted smells through a carbon filter when seated, this bidet does not. The biggest attraction to this bidet is that it includes a constant flow of hot water. Some bidets have a holding tank that keeps the hot water inside the bidet. The problem with that is you can run out of hot water, and of course it is keeping the water warm 24/7/365 which burns electricity. This seat solves both those problems. A stainless steel wand with automatic UV-light self-sanitization comes as standard (the bidet does a self clean every 24 hours). You can manually clean the wand by activating a cleaning cycle without sitting on the seat - in which case the wand extends but does not spray water. As with all bidets, there is the option of front or rear wash modes. You can adjust the water temperature and water pressure for your personal preference (low, medium or high). This seat is very simple to install. You'll need a GFCI outlet close by, but once you have that installing the bidet itself takes less than 5 minutes.
[Incentivized Review] A Welcomed Addition to Any Bathroom
Per Kohler's installation manual this bidet requires a 120 volt 15 amp dedicated line with a 15 amp GFCI outlet placed within 32 ins. of the bidet seat. I don't have that. I also don't have an attic and I don't have a basement. Installing this line will require a few hours in a 3 ft. high, dirt floor, crawl space. Currently there's 6 ins. of snow on the ground, it's 22 degrees and windy. I ain't gonna do it, not now. In the spring I'll do a proper installation but for now this is getting powered...
In the spring I'll do a proper installation but for now this is getting powered up with a 12 ga. 20 amp extension cord plugged into a 15 amp GFCI outlet in the next room. The installation of the seat is very simple, the only tools you'll need are a flat head screwdriver and an adjustable wrench or a pair of pliers . Remove the old seat, clean and disinfect the bowl, screw down the new mounting bracket and snap on the seat. The mounting bracket has a large range of adjustability to get the seat positioned just right. The water connection is done with the supplied chromed metal "T" fitting placed between the supply line and the toilet tank. The water feed from the bidet screws onto this fitting. Plug in the power cord and you're done. They also included a supply line, from the tank to the "T" fitting, in the event yours is iffy. I replaced a non-electric bidet seat and was able to reuse the old "T" fitting. The seat has a built-in safety switch which disables all function until it senses weight on the right side of the seat. The LED control panel has four touch sensitive pressure pads. STOP (no explanation needed), FRONT (three selectable levels of pressure), REAR (three selectable levels of pressure) and WATER TEMP (three unnamed water temperatures) For cleaning purposes the seat is easily removed from its mounting bracket with a push of a button. If required, the self-cleaning stainless steel retractable spray wand can be cleaned manually with a soft bristled brush and hot water. There's also a 45 minute UV disinfecting cycle which activates automatically once every 24 hours. My well water has a high sediment content, I have filters throughout the house, thankfully Kohler included a removable filter screen to trap the contaminates before they reach the water reservoir. The seat's a pleasure to use. No more icy cold water, although, that was an eye opener first thing on a winter morning. I lived in Europe where bidets are a common fixture and I can assure you that once you own one you'll appreciate this appliance. Kohler includes a 3 year limited warranty from the date of installation for normal residential use.

I have a Kohler Santa Rosa toilet and have been trying for years to find a bidet seat to fit properly. At the time, I hadn't realized that the Santa Rosa is a "compact elongated toilet", meaning, it's an elongated toilet designed to fit in the same space as a round toilet, so the tank potion of the toilet is closer to the bowl. This makes it difficult to get a bidet seat to fit properly on the Santa Rosa. A "regular" seat bidet would extend beyond the front of this toilet bowl, making it look te...
A "regular" seat bidet would extend beyond the front of this toilet bowl, making it look terrible, despite being functional. I then decided to search the Kohler website for options, since I thought, "they make the Santa Rosa, so they must have a bidet seat option or recommendation." I was surprised to find that Kohler made bidet seats and they had options to fit the Santa Rosa. I was also surprised at how affordable the C3 050 was. Granted, it doesn't have too many bells and whistles, but it does the job. The installation was easy enough without needing a plumber. My only reason for not giving the bidet seat 5 stars is that the sitting comfort isn't as comfortable as my Toto bidet seat. But it fits on the Santa Rosa!
