Basic bidet seat--gets job done but not comfortable

This is a very simple bidet seat. I find I still have to adjust myself on the seat regardless of whether I have chosen front or back, but the water that comes out does the job. I don't really care for the way the back of the seat won't support your lower back unless you are really reclining. I would have returned it for another model, but my contractor threw away all the packaging, so I'm going to make do.

Love this seat. The water warms quickly, the multiple spray settings make it so you can personalize the wash quite well.

[Incentivized Review] Constant hot water - never runs out

We have 3 electric bidets, so I am very familiar with installing them. What I love about this model is that it has all the plumbing connections needed to install without the need for a plumber. The water supply simply connects in line with the existing supply line, making hooking up the water a real breeze. There is one glaring omission from this bidet, and that is it does not have a heated seat. This is the first bidet we have owned that did not have this feature. Some of the higher end seats...

Some of the higher end seats also have a fan that extracts unwanted smells through a carbon filter when seated, this bidet does not. The biggest attraction to this bidet is that it includes a constant flow of hot water. Some bidets have a holding tank that keeps the hot water inside the bidet. The problem with that is you can run out of hot water, and of course it is keeping the water warm 24/7/365 which burns electricity. This seat solves both those problems. A stainless steel wand with automatic UV-light self-sanitization comes as standard (the bidet does a self clean every 24 hours). You can manually clean the wand by activating a cleaning cycle without sitting on the seat - in which case the wand extends but does not spray water. As with all bidets, there is the option of front or rear wash modes. You can adjust the water temperature and water pressure for your personal preference (low, medium or high). This seat is very simple to install. You'll need a GFCI outlet close by, but once you have that installing the bidet itself takes less than 5 minutes.

[Incentivized Review] Best electronic device ever

"C3 050 Electric Bidet Seat for Elongated Toilets in White " Out of all the electronic devices I have, this is my favorite. Most men don’t understand this, but for a woman, there are times that going to the bathroom and using toilet paper is painful. If you are a woman, you probably know exactly what I am talking about. This warm water bidet seat makes my life so much better. Guys, if you want to make your wife happy, get her one of these. You want this one because the electronic feature warms the water, sanitizes the system, and adjusts the sprayer position. The sprayer has two positions (Front and back) with 3 spray intensity settings. Now for the men. If you have any constipation issues, get one of these, it will mostly likely solve it. Do you love the environment or love money? Then stop flushing trees and hundreds of dollars of toilet paper down the sewer every year. As far cleaning goes, the seat has a quick release so the seat can slide off and be cleaned underneath. I wish all toilet seats, whether Bidet or not, had this feature. It also does a self clean wash and uses a UV light sanitizer. Installation was super easy. You will need to add a “T” to the water line coming into your toilet tank. I included a picture of the one I have. Then its just the one water line hook up and plug it into a power outlet. This is a fabulous product and I highly recommend it.

[Incentivized Review] Great Seat!

This product was very easy to install. I was able to install it in under 30 minutes. All the fittings fit perfectly. This seat installed perfectly with the hardware provided. This product was very easy to install. I was able to install it in under 30 minutes. All the fittings fit perfectly. This seat installed perfectly with the hardware provided. Nothing was needed in order to make the seat work, however the electrical access may be an issue in any given bathroom. I did have to obtain an extension cord to make the electrical connection. The seat does not come equipped with a dryer or a heated seat function, however it does have three levels of water temperature control. This is a great option. Warm water on a cold day is a game changer. The nozzle is stainless steel. The sprayer does not have a timed cycle. The sprayer will run until you hit the stop button. The water does not oscillate, however it does spray in a front or rear position which ever you choose. It also has three levels of regulated pressure which is a must. The seat is equipped with a sensor which will not allow water to flow unless it is depressed. You can extend the wand for cleaning, however if the sensor is not depressed it will not spray water. Lastly is that it has a UV sanitation option that activates automatically once every 24 hours to kill any germs or bacteria. I thought that was a cool feature. I like this seat a lot, and would recommend it to anyone who was interested. I will give you some negative points I have observed. The seat sits at a forward angle, I don't know if thats negative or if it just takes some getting used to. If you have a small bathroom sometimes you may have a tendency to sit on the closed lid. This may not be good due to the plastic construction and the forward angle. Don't sit on the closed lid. This product is made in China.

[Incentivized Review] You have got to get one of these!

I'm an interior designer, and have over the years had clients request actual bidets in their baths. I never understood why you'd want to use a toilet then shimmy over to a separate bidet with your pants down. A bidet seat solves this problem. You simply push a button to have a stream of warm water pulse over your nether regions to clean up in no time. The first time I used it I giggled the entire time. My husband made fun of me, but since we've had it he mentions that he really misses it during the day. The specifics: It's a larger "seat", the opening to the seat seems a bit smaller than the seat we removed (installation was super easy BTW - just need an electrical outlet nearby - low to keep out of sight). The back portion sits up a bit higher, but it's still comfortable. There are 4 functions - One to control the water temp, one to control the spray to the "front", one to control the spray to the "back" and one to stop the spray. Each mode "front" or "back" have three options for amount of pressure for the water. Water takes a few seconds to warm up so you are never sprayed with cold water; always warm. Takes a bit of getting used to, but once you have this bidet seat and get that clean feeling each time after "going" you will miss it when you don't have it. I honestly think the price is very fair for what it does. No additional plumbing, or remodeling of space required, no shuffling over to another fixture, just quick, comforting clean!

Great bidet but..

Great quality and easy to install. But I changed it for the other model with "3d spray" and dryer. I feel these 2 features are quite important to fully enjoy the 20th century way of personal hygiene.

[Incentivized Review] A Welcomed Addition to Any Bathroom

Per Kohler's installation manual this bidet requires a 120 volt 15 amp dedicated line with a 15 amp GFCI outlet placed within 32 ins. of the bidet seat. I don't have that. I also don't have an attic and I don't have a basement. Installing this line will require a few hours in a 3 ft. high, dirt floor, crawl space. Currently there's 6 ins. of snow on the ground, it's 22 degrees and windy. I ain't gonna do it, not now. In the spring I'll do a proper installation but for now this is getting powered...

In the spring I'll do a proper installation but for now this is getting powered up with a 12 ga. 20 amp extension cord plugged into a 15 amp GFCI outlet in the next room. The installation of the seat is very simple, the only tools you'll need are a flat head screwdriver and an adjustable wrench or a pair of pliers . Remove the old seat, clean and disinfect the bowl, screw down the new mounting bracket and snap on the seat. The mounting bracket has a large range of adjustability to get the seat positioned just right. The water connection is done with the supplied chromed metal "T" fitting placed between the supply line and the toilet tank. The water feed from the bidet screws onto this fitting. Plug in the power cord and you're done. They also included a supply line, from the tank to the "T" fitting, in the event yours is iffy. I replaced a non-electric bidet seat and was able to reuse the old "T" fitting. The seat has a built-in safety switch which disables all function until it senses weight on the right side of the seat. The LED control panel has four touch sensitive pressure pads. STOP (no explanation needed), FRONT (three selectable levels of pressure), REAR (three selectable levels of pressure) and WATER TEMP (three unnamed water temperatures) For cleaning purposes the seat is easily removed from its mounting bracket with a push of a button. If required, the self-cleaning stainless steel retractable spray wand can be cleaned manually with a soft bristled brush and hot water. There's also a 45 minute UV disinfecting cycle which activates automatically once every 24 hours. My well water has a high sediment content, I have filters throughout the house, thankfully Kohler included a removable filter screen to trap the contaminates before they reach the water reservoir. The seat's a pleasure to use. No more icy cold water, although, that was an eye opener first thing on a winter morning. I lived in Europe where bidets are a common fixture and I can assure you that once you own one you'll appreciate this appliance. Kohler includes a 3 year limited warranty from the date of installation for normal residential use.

I love it. However, the front wash doesn't go out far enough and you have to adjust yourself. I don't really find it to be to much of an inconvenience.

[Incentivized Review] No room to add a bidet, Install this seat on your toilet and add the bidet features!

I don't think bidets are common in north america or the USA. I don't think I have seen one in person but I know what they are. I don't think bidets are common in north america or the USA. I don't think I have seen one in person but I know what they are. If you don't know what they are, they are used to assist in washing you bum/backside/tush/etc after doing your business. It works by squirting/spraying warm water bum/backside/tush/etc. It works, and does a good job. First time using it is the most surprising have never used a bidet before, but there are times when it's nice to get a good cleaning. I can't say I gave bidets much thought before getting this bidet seat. This one you adjust where it sprays (front or back), how much water it sprays and the temperature. All three are important now I have used it. I would imagine to much water or cold water(I live in the Northeast the the municipal water temperature is in the low 40°F range right now) would be a bit of a surprise. Install is really simple except one part. The physical install is the same as installing a toilet seat, two bolts. Then you need to tap into the water supply to the toilet. All the parts are supplied for this, and it's just remove the line you have install the supplied parts. All that is left is to plug the seat into an outlet (GFCI protected). All my bathrooms do not have an outlet close to the toilet, so I have a short extension cord right now (not recommended or code compliant I would assume). To install this properly, it should be on it's own dedicated 15 amp 120 VAC circuit that is GFCI protected. The need for this is because this does use a fair amount of power to heat the water and has to do it in pretty quickly. The GFCI is for safety, no one wants to get shocked (by electricity) when on the can (the spray of warm water is enough). Added a dedicated circuit for this will add a fair bit of cost, but I am pretty sure it is less expensive than added a stand alone bidet to your bathroom, if it's even possible. Cleaning this is a little more work then a regular toilet seat but not much. These is a uv light that does some disinfecting but it doesn't do anything for physically removing stuff. After a few uses you figure out how to use it so it does a good job cleaning you and also not making a mess of your toilet. My suggestion is to to a few trial runs when you are clean to learn how it works. One other word of caution is if you have young children, there does not seem to be a lock out feature that would prevent a child from turning it into a fountain.
